  1. Hello all! I've been a pretty busy commentator here on the boards, but I've never done an actual concept series. I started one, but I was ill prepared to continue it. Now here I am with a concept series that we've kind of seen before. Much like the Bowl Game Wallpapers from Forbes, here is an NFL Playoff series of wallpapers starting wiht the AFC and NFC Wildcard Rounds. The concept is pretty simple, helmets facing each other, on a colored background of the team colors. The goal was to use three team colors if possible, but with the Packers and Giants and such, I had to use only two. C&C much appreciated as always, let's go ahead and get to it.
  2. I know one thing...after several months in mothballs, College to Pro makes its season debut tonight, with four of the best rushers to ever come out of Burnt Orange nation. For anyone new to this, what I try to do in C2P is see what a given player's college and pro uniforms would look like if the designs were swapped, and I will generally make every effort to achieve a good swap. If I need to take a few liberties, like adding a color or two, up to and including creating a frankenlogo (or using one of you guys' logos), I will. Which is why I haven't done any Oregon alums yet Age before beauty, as the old saying goes...the one and only Tyler Rose, Earl Campbell One of the freer spirits to ever grace the gridiron, Ricky Williams Yes, in this case, the sun was traded to Austin. And if the striping order seems a bit off to you, you gotta remember that in this case, burnt orange replaces aqua, so black replaces orange coral. Decided to enlist the old Michigan Panthers' champagne silver color to replace navy. If ya need the loooord, call the Priest...Holmes, that is. Faster than a speeding bullet, more touchdown catches than a Chiefs wide receiver...it's a bird, it's a plane, it's Jamaal Charles! The arrowhead just looked a bit too awkward completely blank, so the KC remained. Likewise, I tried to add a UT to the longhorn, but that looked really awkward...so I followed Clint's suggestion and placed it above instead.
  3. This will be a series though it might take me a while to complete it. First up: my Chiefs. For KC I wanted to stay with tradition, but fix a few things that bug me as a fan. First I made all the striping consistent throughout. I also enlarged the Lamar Hunt memorial logo and added an arrowhead to the left hip of the pants. As you can see there are no tv numbers. I feel that these are unnecessary and won't use them at all in this series. The wordmark on the back is just the font that is used for the NOB. The red and white pants are exchangeable on the road uniform. Click on the image to view it larger. C&C is welcomed! Thanks for looking!
  4. My Brewers alternate throwback logo that I posted yesterday got a good response so I am adding another one of my concepts today. But first, a little bit of backstory... I am obsessed with logos that were designed in the 70's. So that got me wondering: what if some teams that have had the same logo since their inception before 1970 got a new logo in the 70's? What would it look like? The first team I did was the Kansas City Chiefs. I combined a red capital K with a football shape that is made up of a black C and an arrowhead. I am a big fan of diagonal stripes so I couldn't help but include them as the laces on the football. Plus it is kind of reminiscent of warpaint. Here is the logo: . . . . I'd love to hear what you guys think!
  5. Arthur Blank the owner of the Atlanta Falcons is adding and Atlanta MLS team to his portfolio. Both teams will be sharing the New Falcons stadium in 2017. I thought it could be cool if Blank combined Atlanta soccer history with the future, while showing the Falcons relationship. I feel like the logo would need some adjustments, but I ran out of ideas.
  6. Although, a classic - I think the current Chiefs logo is a bit tired and the lack of yellow is just flat out irritating considering the rest of the uniform is void of black... So behold my vision of an update. Thoughts/C&C?
  7. Here's my chiefs concept/idea. What do you think?
