  1. Hello! I've been off these forums for a while, but now that I'm back I might as well contribute! You guys might have seen my old Wisconsin concept, if you have cool, if you haven't don't try to find it, it's awful and needs to be burned. Anyways Wisconsin just recently switched to Under Armour, and as a Badger fan I was really excited for that because Adidas sucked. So I was pumped for the uniform unveilings (football and basketball in particular) and was really impressed with what UA did with everything. Except for the football uniforms! They hardly changed anything, and my biggest pet peeve is that the "wave/motion W" just seems totally out of place. I also really like it as a logo, but it just doesn't fit with Wisconsin's "brand". So, I took it upon myself to create new, more outside of the box logo and uniforms, that could still fit into Wisconsin's brand. First I designed a very simple logo, I just took the W in Wisconsin's font and just added some serifs to both sides to give them the appearance of f's. I did this because it would work with their new "Forever Forward" mantra. (I know it also kind of looks like the Wonder Woman logo but I don't care.) Then I started on the actual uniforms, and that's when it got interesting, because I wanted something totally new for Wisconsin. In these I really took the new W and the Forever Forward slogan to heart. And there you have it! Really weird, almost throwback "new" UA uniforms done on a Nike template! If you read all my rambling thanks, and if you didn't cool. C&C is greatly appreciated!
  2. Messin' around with some secondary logo concepts for Newcastle United. FYI, the blue color variations translated a little weird for the preview image. The full-sized image is more accurate to the concept vision.
  3. Hey Guys! I know there is a New Jersey Outlaws, but I'm not sure if this logo works for them. I just wanted to see how it looks. I wanted to have the outlaw feel, but include all the letters of New Jersey and Outlaw. Short and simple. I hope you guys like this one! C&C Welcome!
  4. Hey there, the Serie A, Italian major soccer league, started again last weekend and while watching some of the games I couldn't avoid to notice how AC Milan crest look outdated compared to some others (e.g. Juventus or Inter Milan) which have been updated in the recent past. It just feel a bit too corporate (in a bad way) and blocky (probably the last time it's been updated was during the '80s). I've decided to give it a try and put together a quick presentation, also highlighting some of the issues I tried to fix. As usual, feedbacks are really welcome. Cheers
  5. I would like to stress that this is my first mascot logo I've ever made, so please go easy on me. I made it with a cougar/mountain lion in mind. I thought it would be a good logo for a minor hockey team. However I couldn't decide on the colours. I am going for something unique so these colour schemes aren't very traditional. Feel free to suggest your own colour schemes though.
  6. Hey everybody! Please check out my logo concept for D'Angelo Russell and let me know what you think, all CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is more than welcome as I see it as a way to improve my process. This is a portfolio piece for my Senior year at the Savannah College of Art & Design and no affiliation with the athlete or Nike. Thank you! https://www.behance.net/gallery/41163175/DAngelo-Russell-Identity-Concept
  7. Hey Guys! If you remember, I already made a Revolution Logo concept, I just had an idea and wanted to run with it! This logo is a simple crest with 13 stripes for the US flag. Also, I have "N" and "E" for New England that fills in for the stars. 1776 for the year of United States Independence. And there you have it, another Revolution Logo Concept. Hope you like this one! C&C Welcome!
  8. Hey! I did this Minnesota Wild logo after dicking around while thinking of ideas for the Minnesota Timberwolves. I haven't redone it in a proper program to get clean lines+resolution+ratios, so forgive me. Its by no means a final product. The left is the logo, the right is a Legacy logo of sorts, Sunday home game kind of things. Its sorta different than most NHL logos, and I personally think it boarders a bit too much on the graphic design side, but alas! I want to know what you think. Those keen on NHL logo history will obvs know what i'm going for here. I will be posting uniforms and alt logos when I finish them!
  9. I was disappointed when the Toronto Raptors took out any reference to dinosaurs in their logo package and replaced them with that weird ripped ball. I wanted to bring the velociraptor back into prominence, but not as a cartoon. Not sure if the logo needs the highlights. I am especially torn about the highlight on the neck, or the ball "O". What do you think?
  10. My logo for a concept team, the Dallas Lady Mallards. Hope you guys like my incorporation of the Penguins logo from the 90's
  11. Back when I was a college student in 2011, I made a hybrid T-Wolves logo that combined the original logo with the current one. Yesterday, I finally decided to re-make it with improved bezier curves. This is the original image from 2011 (that quite few people have stolen and claimed to be their own logo over the years...but I digress...): And here's the new one with different color scheme and backgrounds/borders: Lastly (for now) here's one I just whipped up that I don't feel that good about...but it's a direction I'd like to explore more: Thoughts? I know the actual re-brand will likely alter things to a much greater degree...but I'm going to at least enter this into ESPN's contest. Just don't know which one yet.
  12. I'm slowly learning the ropes to photoshop. After what took over two hours I managed to make a personal logo for myself. It's nothing special, just black and white with a hidden "TC" like the old Hartford Whalers logo.
  13. Here's something I've been working on recently. After seeing that so many high schools and even some colleges use the same few cartoon bulldog images as their logos again and again, I decided to take a crack at it and create my own version. Of course there are some colleges with original and solid bulldogs, but overall I wanted to stray away from that cartoon Looney Toons bulldog look that is everywhere and make something original. I kept the cliche spiky collar because apparently a bulldog isn't a bulldog without one. The full project can be seen on behance: https://www.behance.net/gallery/36390445/Bulldogs-Logo NOTE: All logos in this thread may not be used without prior consent of Greg Hahn.
  14. Hi Guys I'm working on a Skull and Dagger design currently. It's been a while since i've worked on something like this so was hoping to seek some feedback from the forum on areas that could be improved/developed. Thanks
  15. After essentially starting my love of graphic design on this site, I've had quite the number of opportunities to create logos, both business and sports, for various people over the last year. With these developments, I've had to come up with a new business/personal name and logo. I would love people's opinions on my brand new logo. I'm not posting it to change anything, more to just get people's opinions on it. My new name is now Dynamic Lights Design. It was originally TJK Designs, to coincide with my name. But at the moment I'm at right now, I thought it would be a good time to come up with a name that meant more to me. The Dynamic part of the name comes from the albatross. The albatross has a special meaning to me from experiences in my life. It's also a good word for the dynamic part of design. The light part of the name is also very meaningful to me. The lightbulb can also represent the many ideas I have in my design work. Along with my main business/personal logo, I decided to branch it off with 2 other variations of my name and logo. I have Dynamic Lights Concepts, for the concept work I do, mostly on this site. I also have Dynamic Lights TK 97, which is only for personal projects I create for myself or friends and family. And of course, I had to make a roundel logo, for all those times a roundel logo is needed. And I just love making them haha. So I'd love to know what people think of the direction I went in. Also, if anyone wants to know what my old logo looked like, just ask and I'll post it.
  16. As a native Texan, I've been to more Rangers games than I can remember. As one of the most beautiful parks in the country, the stadium needs a logo that helps promote it's appearance. Therefore, I have decided to rebrand 'Globe Life Park.' More will come as soon as I feel the logo in finalized. Comments and critiques are welcome! Thanks!
  17. Hey Guys! Today I have a logo design for a hockey team named Scranton Storm. Just a cool logo I wanted to see come to life. Now, if you notice, the lightning bolt looks like an "S," for Scranton. The shield behind the bolt is just to make the logo feel more complete. I have a Home and Away jersey to see how that would look. I hope you guys like this one! Logo: Jersey: C&C Welcome!
  18. Howdy Guy's so after reading the comments on the Road Runners new logo and needing a break from the problems of my own logo I decided to put together a way, in my eyes, the could fix the new logo. Let me know what you guys think! And also a jersey obviously based off of the current and Kachina Coyotes jerseys Let me know what you guys think!
  19. My first project of the summer - for the Brookwood Warriors of Thomasville, GA - for use across the entire athletic program:
  20. As some of you may have seen, I am in the middle of a Lil NHL concept series of youth-inspired NHL logo spinoffs. I have decided to submit some of my designs to NHL teams for their youth hockey programs (some don't work for the brands teams have cultivated, so I'll try to work those elements into my upcoming designs). The first logo I am formatting for submission is for the Little Howlers program, run by the Arizona Coyotes. I posted this logo before, but made a few tweaks and developed a crest for the program. I am looking for any feedback before I pull the trigger and send it in! The current logo is based off their mascot, but its worth taking a shot in another direction!
  21. With all the talk of highschools and their lack of logo originality (often ending up with some crappy drawing or logo ripoff.), I've decided to make a series where I will try to give highschool logos a fresh look. I know this kind of topic had been done before, but I wanted to take my own spin on it. I figure I will take ideas for highschools that need help, because I don't really know which ones need to be redone. (Technically, I could google highschools, but I'm to lazy for that ). Also, if you request a school, I can't guarantee how long it will take to make a logo, so hopefully you will be able to be patient. Let's start off the first two highschools with their old logos. I know some of you have already seen the tiger, so I'll be rehashing a bit. I figured it fit in this topic though (I won't talk about it much.) The Tioga Tiger's logo isn't the worst I've seen (And as far as I know they aren't ripping off someone), but is really just not a logo. Now the Horseheads Blue Raiders are obviously ripping off the Broncos. It's pretty blatant and they really need something new. I'll start with Tioga. Pretty self explanatory but if you want to hear my ideas behind the logo you can look here: Next is the Blue Raiders logo. I decided to add a few more colors than the original, although I have just a white and blue version (Not a huge fan of it.) Again, I think the logo speaks for itself. Requests and comments are welcome. Show me your ideas.
  22. Hey Guys! It has been a long time since I made a post on here. So I decided to make a logo concept for the Scranton Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. I am not saying their current designs are not good, I just prefer a more simple look. Here is a main logo and three alternate logos. I hope you like this one! C&C Welcome! Main: Alternate: Thank you!
  23. I'm a big fan of international hockey, I find it so entertaining to watch. The players, fans and sport are all so different then what I can normally watch from the NHL's point of view. So I decided to make some concepts on none World Cup teams. (Except jerseys are made by Nike, and I may make WCH team after) I need a break from Adidas. So I'll start by releasing the logos first then jerseys afterward some other time. C&C is always appreciated. Thanks. Team Switzerland A national symbol, the Greek Cross. The Swiss have worn and flown it for centuries, and now it gets a modern touch for the modern team. Team Germany The German Eagle is a proud symbol of the German people and has been for a long time, a simplified coat of arms brings a more modern look.
  24. Hello, just signed up here. Being a Pacers fan is difficult with our bland designs. I did a bit of an update recently and wanted to share. Getting great feedback on the logos but yes, I know the jerseys are too busy. Let me know what you think. http://imgur.com/gallery/wp12x Thanks, BKD
  25. Hey guys, I'm here just to post this logo design I made for my school. I would like some C&C for the design before I submit it. Cheers. (made with PaintDOTNet)
