  1. Hi guys I had that project waiting to be published, here is a personal concept. I want to be able in a near future to make some 3D presentation, It's not 3D yet but I'm working to improve my presentation... what you think? ps: You'll find the rest under the video in the second post, enjoy!
  2. Happy Holidays everyone! I'm thankful for the support on my NFL Redesign, and I'm starting a new project. This will be a thread of redesigns for many HBCU's (Historically Black Colleges and Universities). This will be composed of football, basketball, and baseball, which is something I'm trying out for the first time. This is similar to @colinturner95's wonderful concept. The first team for this redesign is the Jackson State Tigers from the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). I have plenty of friends and family that went here, but no one knows why JSU uses red as an accent color (official colors are navy and white). Either way, the color is included in this concept for every sport. Football Basketball Home Basketball Away Basketball Alternate Baseball Home Baseball Away Baseball Alternate 1 Baseball Alternate 2
  3. Now that I've finished my NFL series, I thought I'd take on something new: NCAA Division 1 football. Vastly bigger (and way more fun) than the NFL. I'll be working my way through the Power 5 conferences, with some Group of Five/Independents thrown in the mix as I get to them. Hoping to do 2-3 per week. In no particular order: Big Ten Illinois Indiana Iowa Maryland Michigan Michigan State Minnesota Nebraska Northwestern Ohio State Penn State Purdue Rutgers Wisconsin SEC Alabama Arkansas Auburn Florida Georgia Kentucky LSU Ole Miss Mississippi State Missouri South Carolina Tennessee Texas A&M Vanderbilt Group of Five/Independents UCF Comments/feedback welcome!
  4. I figured I needed to do something long term, something that will take a lot of time and effort to do.... and then I realised there's a massively oversized and bloated organisation that is perfect to be concepted... 5. So in case you haven't seen it in the College Football 2020 thread, Kellen Mond seems to be hinting that the Aggies will be moving back to their throwbacks as the primary look. Compounding that with the debate on whether the Aggies should keep or dump the bevel, I thought I'd take a stab at some concepts, as well as needing a mental break from my 1972 Project. While I'm not against the possible changes, it does seem a step down from what they're currently wearing with the racing stripes. Rather than flood that thread with some ideas, I'll take my talents here and see what you all think: This was in essence what I put in the 2020 thread, albeit on a Nike template, so I migrated it to an almost current Adidas template. The bevels are all gone, everywhere which will be the case on anything posted here. This one sees the helmet gain a helmet stripe to match the pants and satiate those that say there's no cohesion between helmet, jerseys and pants. Otherwise, everything really stays the same. This one sees the opposite direction as Option A, with the pant stripes going away, keeping the hip logo, but the stripeless pants now create harmony between them and the helmets. Jerseys remain unchanged. As was pointed out to me in the 2020 thread, Texas A&M's look is inspired by the 70's look, but they didn't go all the way with it. This is the "they went all the way with it" option, with everything having a double stripe on it. Let me know what y'all think, what you guy's might wanna see out of this. I hadn't thought of alternates for these, but they're probably coming as well, so as I always seem to say: C&C welcome!
  6. In light of USF eliminating the recently created academic bull for the Iconic Bull U for now both academics & athletics, I always wondered how many colleges also use the same marks for both. On top of my head here's some that I already know of. Of course, I couldn't leave out UCF & their pegasus. The pegasus has appeared on their football & baseball uniforms. An older version appeared on football helmets in 1981 & 1982 per the Helmet Project. What are more examples of above?

  9. I thought of this idea a while ago and wasn't sure if anyone did or not, but here is a series I have been working on. Each conference will be getting their own BP-template of sorts. Hi guys, I haven't post here for a loooong time.... I don't know if this is the right place for these in case it's not I'll post them in general designs... ^^ I have some stuffs I been working on, I've always been a huge fan of cereals boxes in general. I love the characters, the universe etc. That plus the fact that I am a college basketball lover, I've decided to associate both to create cereals designs with my favorites athletes. Here are what I've done so far, it's not perfect but with a some work and practice I can (I think) be in the right direction. Tell me what you guys are thinking about these. Here are the Tennessee Volunteers with Grant Williams, Admiral Schofield & Smokey the mascot. Here is Rui Hachimura from Gonzaga. Enjoy!

  13. Whilst I wait for comments on my soccer series, I took a shot at arguably the worst D-1 logo, the LIU-Brooklyn Blackbirds. Yeah. Ew. The font is kinda meh, but the logo really sets it apart from all the others, and it looks like it was drawn by a 5-year-old in MS Paint. So what can we do to fix it? I just razed the whole building and started over, at the removal of Brooklyn and making it just Long Island University, as a new era in the history of athletics (I realize Post Is there but does anyone really care about them?). Second, The new logo is much different and draws some inspiration from the most recent upgrade of the UNC-Wilmington logo as well as the aptly-named Blackbird fighter jet. There is also a newer, cleaner font. Third, I tried a new court, based on NYC herringbone subway tile in the apron. I tried sublimating the bridge in, but it wouldn't work that well. I had uniforms, but just never liked the way they turned out, I may post later if something is figured out. I could also do other sports, a la baseball or hockey. C&C appreciated!
  14. My friends and I have been making basketball courts for the NCAA in the past few weeks and I have decided to post mine now. If you have any requests let me know and i'll make one for you. I hope you enjoy *The Template we use is made by DarthBrooks*

  16. As many of you already know, I still play NCAA Football 14 and can't wait for another game to come out. Not that it's likely with EA at this point, but a man can dream. That being said, one of the major issues I've always had with the NCAA franchise, is that beyond FBS, they don't really care about FCS and lower. Up until the release on the PS3 and XBOX 360, the game did use to include FCS teams, but dropped them completely when they did move to the new hardware. They eventually made Teambuilder as a was of making up for the lack of FCS teams, but it really didn't. Point is that FCS, D2, D3, NAIA, and whoever else didn't get any love and representation in the games. Hypothetically speaking, should EA or another developer come out with a NCAA football video game, would it be feasible for them to include FCS, etc all teams in the game? See what I'm thinking is that with the current generation hardware and beyond (PS5?) it should be possible to create the 600+ college football teams for play in the game. Wether this is on the disk or DLC, I think I can and should be done. I'm curious what everyone else things, particularly those of you who know more about video gaming that I do. Is it indeed possible to do it and if so, would you want it? I think a game where you can play as any college team with properly recreated uniforms, stadiums and such would be great. But does anyone else find value in playing as a D3 school in a video game?
  17. Hey all! I'm back with another installment of what I guess is a long running series of college hockey concepts! Previously, I've done concepts for national champs and mainstays, mid-level contenders, and college hockey's resident oddity. Today I take on what might be college hockey's most obscure school: The Bentley University Falcons. Bentley is a small school in Waltham, MA, located just nine miles outside of Boston. Unlike it's four neighboring schools to the east, Bentley has demonstrated little success since its rise to Division 1 in 1999. The Falcons are a bad team in the Atlantic Hockey Conference, easily the worst conference in D1. The Atlantic only factors into the national scene every year because it has an automatic qualifier, so its champion will eliminated SOMEONE from the national tournament (or beat St. Cloud in their yearly first round exit). To demonstrate just how awful the Atlantic Conference is, here is the actual, 100% real, I'm not joking in any way conference logo: Bentley is a perennial bottom feeder, never making the National Tournament, never even finishing higher than 45th in the pairwise since its inception in 2003. The school's branding reflects its lack of success. The primary logo is a split-color shield featuring a beveled B. The logo somehow has five colors. Three shades of grey, blue, and white. The alternate logo is a poorly drawn bird featuring SEVEN colors, the five from the primary, and an additional blue, and yellow. I wanted to create a more modern and respectable identity for Bentley, which began with examining what type of Falcon I wanted to use. I ultimately chose the American Kestrel a small bird to represent a small school. The design is relatively straightforward, replacing the Kestrel's reddish-brown feathers with the school's cobalt blue. The identity also features a custom font designed to better pair with the logo than a normal block font. Here is a side by side comparison with the current logo set: Finally, the uniforms. The striping is an homage to the current shield with a blue and white/black stripe. Despite liking the blue, Bentley currently wears black primarily in real life and I felt the color scheme was a more unique look. Thanks for viewing guys, I'd love your C+C!
  18. On the Men's side, I'm liking this template. Can't wait to see what they do with Indy and Atlanta. The Women's logo is just beautiful...
  19. Leaving you with this for the weekend: I new look for a classic program.

This is the big one. I've had the bits and pieces of this one working for two and half years and I finally feel ready enough to get this one out to the public. This project began when I wondered one day what would happen if Nike did something ludicrous and somehow managed to get apparel rights to every single FBS level team. Of course this is seemingly impossible in the real world, but it was fun to think about. Then I took it one step further. Not only would get every FBS football team, but if every FBS football team also had a Division 1 basketball, baseball and hockey team for Nike to get their hands on. So the goal here is one, to actually finish this idea, but more than that, is to see if I can create a unique identity for 130 some teams across 4 different sports. This means that some traditional looks will be changed slightly and some might change drastically. Nevertheless, I'm excited to get this off the ground and share it with you guys. Teams will be posted as I get them done and will be done in a random order I have created with some help from the internet and first up is the Ohio Bobcats of the MAC: (I also will create one of these cool team headers for every team). Ohio's sports have a rather laid back and simplistic look to them. Even with adidas/Russell at the helm of their apparel, they don't have too crazy of a look and I kept that in mind as I designed their uniforms for this. Keeping that in mind, I left their football uniforms pretty much the same as they have been the last couple years. Biggest change here is the addition of real pants stripes as opposed to no stripes or very short stripes. I limited black to an alternate set that would hopefully be worn separately, but in the current state of college football we all know that wouldn't happen. The hockey uniforms are very similar to how the football uniforms go. I did consider shoulder logos for them but I didn't keep them, as it just didn't feel right to me. Baseball uniforms again are very simple and consistent with the rest of the uniforms. Biggest thing here and across the board is that there is no longer a "grey away" designation. Unless a team has grey in their set, I won't be giving a team a grey uniform for baseball. Basketball is consistent with the rest. I didn't want to go full Celtics with Ohio, so the double stripe pattern is on the shoulders and the collar trim is a solid color. On the shorts the waistband is striped and the hem is a solid color. C&C is welcome as always. Given the larger nature of this thread, I'll try and get the next team up as soon as I can.
  21. After nearly 3 years of working on this, I have finally completed what started out as a complete 59-team (now 60) re-design of every D1 hockey program in the NCAA. When I first started this I wanted to post them all at once, yet I had no idea it would take me this long to do. But here it is. Notes: - All jerseys were done with a CCM template simply for my sake of not having multiple templates. - The helmets in the pictures will seem off on some images, that's simply because I started off with having a home & away helmet and it was easier to just erase the one helmet instead of doing that and re-positioning it on every image. I eventually decided to just go with the singular helmet that they do presently. - Helmets don't have cages, this was an oversight. - Names on the jerseys are not up to date. Goes to show how long it took me to do this. - I tried my best to have every team have a unique striping pattern from each other. - Some jerseys build off jerseys that they team may have already used. 22. UAA has used the same classic, tribal art influenced, logo since 1973 (REF). As stated, the logo is classic; but I was wondering - What if UAA would update their look? What would a Seawolf look like if it were modernized? What is the basis for the Seawolves name? In Haida and Tlingit culture; a seawolf is an enormous creature that preys upon pilot and killer whales. It as four legs with fins, a head similar to a wolf, and a tail like a fish or a whale or sometimes a prehensile tail. (This is not a wolf with an eye patch ) Before becoming the Seawolves, UAA's nickname was the Sourdoughs in reference to old sailors..... good upgrade. After researching historic and contemporary Haida and Tlingit depictions of seawolves I got to drawing out what a new Seawolves logo might look like, so here is my concept logo for the University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves: Newest idea: 1/15/18 1/16/18 1/17/18 C&C Apreciated

  24. Hello all! With the college football season all but over, it's time to look to the NFL Draft. The Cleveland Browns completed their winless season and have the first overall pick as well as the 4th overall pick (from the Texans). Sam Darnold appears to be on a fast track to Cleveland, so here he is in a Browns jersey. This is my first ever jersey swap and I would love to get all of your guys' thoughts on what i can improve. More guys to come! Thanks for looking. ORIGINAL: JERSEY SWAP:
