  1. Alright so this is my second post and I kinda thought it would be cool to put old NFL Throwback Uniforms on the Nike Elite 51 template to see how they'd look if they were actually used in an NFL game now as a throwback. If you have any request please send me them, so here it is 1994 Arizona Cardinals 1983 Seattle Seahawks 1969 Minnesota Vikings 1994 Dallas Cowboys "Throwback"
  2. My Brewers alternate throwback logo that I posted yesterday got a good response so I am adding another one of my concepts today. But first, a little bit of backstory... I am obsessed with logos that were designed in the 70's. So that got me wondering: what if some teams that have had the same logo since their inception before 1970 got a new logo in the 70's? What would it look like? The first team I did was the Kansas City Chiefs. I combined a red capital K with a football shape that is made up of a black C and an arrowhead. I am a big fan of diagonal stripes so I couldn't help but include them as the laces on the football. Plus it is kind of reminiscent of warpaint. Here is the logo: . . . . I'd love to hear what you guys think!
  3. Welcome to the Mark's Hand-Drawn Concepts Thread. Concepts will be few and far between. C&C is appreciated.
  4. Back in the mid to late 60's, Ohio State wore a uniform not too all together different from their currents, but with one unique detail. When the initially added TV numbers, they were down in the bicep area and they were BLACK. I first became a fan as a little kid a few years later after this detail was removed, but I remember seeing it in photos and thinking it was cool, and wishing they hadn't changed it. (In fact, I'm pretty sure it was the first time in my life that I mentioned a uniform tidbit to someone... in this case my older brother... and getting that "what are you talking about?" look.) For most of my childhood, whenever I did one of my hundreds of magic marker "concepts" for tOSU, I always brought this little detail back. In recent years, as the sleeves started to really shrink away, it's become harder to make something I was happy with, that still incorporated the black TV numbers. They do not work at all up on the shoulders IMO. But recently, I have noticed a slight trend towards making the socks once again part of the overall design. Last week South Carolina wore team striped socks... in recent memory, so have Oregon State and, I think, Army. So with that in mind, here's a concept bringing back the black TV numbers and moving the classic stripes to the socks. Also, I tried to find a few unusual ways to get some gray unto the jersey. I also darkened the gray slightly overall, for a stronger road look. What do you think?
  5. Inspired by Iowa St's new Jack Trice throwbacks. OU fans tend to be traditionalists but this has been largley well-receieved so I'd thought I'd share for my first post.
  6. I recently wondered what it would be like if the original Broncos had come out with a helmet a little more imaginative than what they actually wore in 1960. Instead of just Photoshopping the idea, I actually made one. Let me know what you think (forgive my mediocre photography skills).........
  7. As you guys can tell by my profile picture I am a Jets fan. I wanted to make a throwback that I would like to see my team take the field with.
  8. Here is a patriots throwback I put together for you guys!
