  1. This is my first post to the forum. I have taken all of the teams current designs and colors to create what I believe the Color Rush Uniforms should look like next season. I created designs for every Thursday Night Game. I also followed the NFL's helmet policy where the teams cannot have more than one helmet.
  2. So I've been making logos for a while, but I never really took the time out to try a uniform concept before. After seeing the work of the NFL/NBA mashups from before, I was inspired to do something similar. At the time, the Kings seemed like a great way to start. If this went well, I was thinking about attempting a uniform for the St. Louis Blues, or go the opposite route and make a sweater for the Lakers. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
  3. I decided I would redesign the entire NHL, using new or modified logos with new or the same uniforms. With many teams, I'm using old logos with new colours, or a partial logo. Some people are going to be angry because I'm touching the "untouchable" teams. But if the Maple Leafs can change their look, I can make my own little changes. There may be some teams I don't change the logos, but I'm hoping to change everything up. I will probably post them in groups of 3. Any C&C is appreciated. First up: Anaheim Ducks Arizona Coyotes: Boston Bruins:
  4. So, to start this series I would like to provide some info. I feel that certain teams need updates to their current uniform sets, mainly the Flames and Senators. This series will show my ideal designs for these teams. I'd like to start with the Montreal Canadiens and Calgary Flames. Habs Home Habs Away Habs Alternate Flames Home Flames Away *UPDATE* Oilers jerseys added Home Away Alternate
  5. Hey, I'm making soccer jerseys for every state in the US plus D.C. I'll do a color, white, and alternate in that order. So, Let's start with Sweet Home Alabama:
  6. As it's hockey jersey day, in part of Hockey Weekend across America, I'm wearing my Green Mikko Koivu Minnesota Wild third sweater. I got this jersey because Koivu is my favorite player. But once the Wild unveiled the new road jersey, I wanted to get one. But I couldn't decide on who to put on the back. Then it happened. Nino Niederreiter scored the OT game winning, series clinching goal in game 7 against the Avalanche! That's when I wanted to get a Nino jersey. Regardless of what happens in the rest of his career, that moment will be my favorite. (Unless of course he scores the cup winning goal ) So I got one! And some other ones I have are because I loved the design of the jersey. Why do you have a specific jersey? What memories tie in with it?

  8. Saw this the other day. It sounds like something that has been talked about a lot here and could provide some insight as to an aesthetic direction the Brewers might be taking. http://mweb.cbssports.com/mlb/eye-on-baseball/25463086/rejoice-brewers-bring-back-glove-logo-for-alternate-uniforms-in-2016 Feel free to post any more that come up.
  9. Bizarrely, I haven't been able to find such a thread in the archives, at least not in the past few years. Anyway, I think this could be a fun topic to discuss. Which Super Bowls just looked great? Which ones were a disaster (*cough cough, last year's*)? Also, teams wearing white in the Super Bowl are, thus far, 31-18 if I recall correctly, with at least the four biggest margins of victory (49ers over Broncos by 45 points, Bears over Patriots by 36 points, Cowboys over Bills by 35 points, Seahawks over Broncos by 35 points). It's a small sample size, but that's still a bigger difference than you'd expect. Do you think it's just a coincidence, or does wearing white somehow convey a psychological advantage?
  10. Golden State Warriors 2013-2014 alternate uniform
  11. So its been a while since I've been on this site but seeing this today made me want to post something. I was watching the Lions vs Bears game and I noticed that Matt Forte's uniform looked different from the rest of the team. I looked closely when they zoomed in on him and I realized that he didn't have on the Nike Flywire that the teams wears, and the more I looked the more different it seemed to be, first the sweat boxes where different and and second there wasn't as much stitching on the back. It looks like he was wearing the new Nike Vapor uniforms; basically what Oregon unveiled last night. Unfortunately I don't have a good photo of this right now but I will look harder to find better quality shots of it. Matt Forte wasn't the only Bear to wear this uniform either but unfortunately I couldn't remember his name
  12. Starting my first ever thread. NCAA Football "Elements" Uniform Concepts. @alksports on instagram First up: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Please leave feedback and requests!
  13. Anybody who had ever read one of my posts will not be surprised to hear that I considered Thursday night's inaugural "Color Rush" game to be a huge eyesore. IMO it failed on numerous levels. However, if this is something the NFL wants to go forward with, I thought I'd see if I could come up with something that would make me, at least, happy. One thing that gives me hope is the use of the term "historic colors" in the NFL's promotional language, and the fact that the Cowboys are doing a throwback, of sorts. (A throwback to one of their dumbest and most over rated jersey IMHO, but still...) So with that in mind, I thought I'd search the archives for some older looks that could be manipulated into this concept. I started with the NFC North because it's the best dressed division, currently, and (except for Detroit) all had monochrome uniforms in their histories. So, here we go... Thoughts?
  14. Another Rams' concept, this time inspired (sorta) from the color rush uniforms. Part of my continuing attempts to create a set of uniforms that would look like the beautiful 50's uniforms at home, and the also beautiful 80's road uniforms on the road. Feedback appreciated.

  16. Hey guys, deciding to take a stab at the NFL after watching this years set of uniforms Im really sick of what the NFL has come up with for some of these teams. Many uniforms may be simplified a lot or some may just contain minor tweaks! Either way here is what I would like the NFL to do with Uniforms! Teams: Arizona Before you get the pitchforks out, yes I replaced grey with white. I feel like it truly represents the colors of the Bird and Makes for a unique color scheme in the league. Everything about the current uniforms (aside from the logo) I trashed. Going with the single stripe on helmet and pants I believe the grey and red creates a simple yet effective and fierce uniform. NBA Rebrands

Hey guys, this is my first topic.. Last night I kept complaining about the Denver Nuggets branding and uniforms so I decided to create a series where I will do the entire NBA. May take a while to get all 30 teams done. Nevertheless I would love your feedback positive and negative. Thanks all! also shout out to @tbdaniel15 for creating the uniform templates I will be using. DENVER NUGGETS
  18. This is the place to put any random uniform stats you have. For example; The Oregon Ducks football team could play until the year 2778 without a duplicate uniform. Also; Only 11/65 Power 5 schools have adidas as their uniform manufacturer. What do you have?
  19. Hey guys! I think I have a great idea, and i want all of you to be apart of it. I want this to be fun and enjoyable for everyone who participates. I have come up with a fictional basketball league called the "United States Premier Basketball League" or "USPBL" for short. Yes i know there are a lot of these but i wanted to try my hand at it with suggestions from all of you. There are 12 cities, 6 teams, 2 conferences and i want you guys to submit nicknames for these cities. I'm still working on the backstory for this league but i want to start getting you guy's suggestions ASAP. The 12 cities i chose were (I have already chosen their conferences) ; Albuquerque, New Mexico- WESTNorfolk, Virgina - EASTBoise, Idaho - WESTTucson, Arizona - WESTEl Paso, Texas - WESTOmaha, Nebraska - WESTAustin, Texas - EASTBirmingham, Alabama - EASTLas Vegas, Nevada - WESTLouisville, Kentucky - EASTLittle Rock, Arkansas - EASTDaytona Beach, Florida - EAST The logo for the league is pictured below. The first thing that will probably be noticed is the obvious nod to the United States with the (Red, White, Blue) color scheme. The next thing is the 6 stars in the Blue "U" and 6 stripes in the Red "S", those represent the 6 teams in each conference and there respective color (NBA esque) and last would be the black background it just made it pop for me. I kept it simple and didn't want to over do it. I'm looking forward to everyone's participation and input. Thanks for looking (Borrowed a basketball design just as a test) Edit: i do plan to make logos and uniforms EDIT 2: Voting closed: thanks to everyone who participated your choices for these teams after voting are as followed; Albuquerque - Desert Dogs Norfolk- Captains Boise- Thunderbirds Tucson- Saguaros El Paso- Stars Omaha- Stampede Austin- Outlaws Birmingham- Vipers Las Vegas- Aces (changed to "Silver Aces" because "Aces" was too plain) Louisville- Riders and of course i chose the Little Rock and Daytona team names again a big thanks for your votes these concepts will be a lot of fun (Moved From page 3)
  20. Some uniform changes are the best thing ever, changing or fixing all the worst mistakes from before and make the team look amazing and professional, and then there's those changes just absolutely destroy the look of the team before and look completely unnecessary. Here's a couple examples The St. Louis Blues Good change To To bad change Back to good
  21. Anyone else see the new TCU Football uniforms for next season?? I think that NIKE did not do a great job with the "frog skin" sublimation and could've utilized it in a much more appealing way, disappointment in my eyes. If anyone else can find better pictures of the uniforms please add them to this!
  22. I just wanted to start a thread for discussion about Atlanta's upcoming rebrand -- as we've got one for the Bucks, Raptors, 76ers, and Clippers, but don't seem to have one for the Hawks. Most of the discussion has been in the general NBA changes thread. It looks like we'll be getting the new look on Wednesday. http://www.ajc.com/news/sports/basketball/big-week-of-change-for-hawks-with-uniforms-owners-/nmjBX/?ecmp=ajc_social_twitter_2014_hawks_sfp We've already seen these: http://news.sportslogos.net/2015/05/30/atlanta-hawks-new-logo-leaked/ No idea how credible this is so take it FWIW:
  23. Hey guys! I thought a good discussion topic would be uniforms that teams either used to wear and don't anymore or unused uniforms that teams never wore. Here a couple that come to mind. I want to see what you guys come up with
  24. Hey guys! Check out this little project I put together! Tried to do something different with it but still within the general realm of the Lakers identity. Let me know what you think!!
