  1. After watching both our women's and men's teams play on Sunday, I kept getting the urge to make a new set for them. Looking at the "new" crest and the previous one, I'm surprised the teams never tried basing a jersey design off the stripes on the crests. Also being a huge fan of the waldo uniforms, I wanted to go with a similar look, but not an exact copy. I decided to do three uniforms, and feature some of the young US stars. So without further adieu, here is my first concept in quite some time. Hope you enjoy. Home Away The back of the neckline on the jerseys feature a vertical USA. The women's team will have 4 stars surrounding them, while the men's are (sadly) blank. Third C&C appreciated!
  2. The National Premier Soccer League, commonly known as NPLS, is the fourth tier of the US soccer pyramid. It is together a regional and a national league, meaning it is divided in 4 regions (Northestern, South, Midwest, Western) that represent the whole country. It takes place in the summer months, so they can draw players from NCAA soccer. I quite like their new logo, so I designed coordinated logos for the 4 regions and 13 conferences. Northeastern Region North Atlantic Conference Brooklyn Italians Kingston Stockade FC Boston City FC New York Cosmos B New York Athletic Club Rhode Island Reds FC Hartford City FC Greater Lowell Rough Diamonds Keystone Conference Mid-Atlantic Conference Charlottesville Alliance FC FC Frederick Northern Virginia United FC FC Baltimore Christos Virginia Beach City FC South Region Heratland Conference Lone Star Conference Sunshine Conference Southeast Conference Midwest Region East Conference Great Lakes Conference North Conference West Region Golden Gate Conference Northwest Conference Southwest Conference The four regions have different stars positioning to represent the geographical positon, but they are always 4, as the regions. The conference logos have a similar appearance, with only a different crest shape. Of the 4 ever present stars one is red, representing which region the conference is in. North Atlantic and Mid Atlantic have a wavy top and bottom to represent the ocean Keystone, as Pennsylvania is known as the keystone state Heartland has a confederate vibe Lone star is literally Texas Sunshine has a Florida shape Southeast has a flag shape, for all the pirates that had their coves on the south eastern coast. East has ha waterfall side to represents the Niagara falls, real symbol of the area Great lakes has 3 red stripes and two blue ones to represent the 5 major lakes. North has a big star, representing the northen star guiding the path Golden gate, what to add... Northwest, has a side shaped like an evergreen tree Southwest, sun rays for the SoCal conference I designed the kit for the two diffent all-star teams of the league. The all-star game is actually called Rising Stars National Game in my redesign. Two regions will play against the other two regions; the couples will be decided by a draft on the game's eve, so every region sends the same number of all star players to enable every combination. Hope you enjoy the concept. In the future I'll post the rebranding of all the 92 clubs in the league, but it will be a slow start, as I'm currently working on many other projects
  3. I apologize in advance for this super long first post here. This is by far the most lengthy and intensive project I've done yet. Anywayyyys... USSL History: The US Super League was founded in 1970 at the peak of American soccer popularity. Many leagues were expanding rapidly, and the US wanted to make a Champions League type competition to compete with the European soccer market. They founded the Super League with six leagues from Texas area, California area, Florida, New York area, New England, and the Midwest. Many teams started to assert dominance in the League, and it almost became too one-sided. In 1976, more leagues started to join to increase competition and eventually by the late 80’s, every league in America was admitted to join the US Super League. In modern day competition, 64 teams face off in a group-based format. The field narrows down to 32 as the remaining teams face another group stage. The knockout stage starts when the field hits 16, and it eventually whittles down to a final 2. Dallas Rangers hold the most victories with 7 followed by Brooklyn Wanderers who have 6 and Atletico Santa Monica who have 5. The 2016-2017 champions was the Californian club Saint Joseph who earned their 3rd title. 4. I'm sure I missed a thing or two here, as I started making it before I really thought things out, but here- have a helmet flag (after all, helmets are what I do)! Happy Independence Day, everyone!
  5. Taking a small break from my city mashup series in order for me to complete my concepts for HJC's World Hockey Jersey Championship. First up is Canada. For this, I used the Chest stripe from their vintage jerseys, and added the two stripes from their modern jerseys. A vintage-style maple leafs adorns the front, and black is relegated to the equipment. C&C is appreciated!
  6. We can all agree that the USA baseball team's uniforms are dated, and do not look any better with this year's WBC. Recently, Uni Watch has posted a USA Baseball redesign contest, and I wanted to share my look with you: Logo: An attempt to simplify and modernize the team's current cap logo. USA is in a more modern and bolder font, along with a retooled, brighter shade of red (what USA baseball needs more of). Home: White pinstripe vest with blue undershirt. USA is in red to give the color a more distinct position. Road: Grey uniform with basic piping details. Font and lettering color does not change. Simply a basic, American-style look. Alternate: A tribute to the "golden age" of early 1900's baseball. Simplified cap with star, blue jersey with blue pants and white striped stockings, and a vintage styled font. A bit out there, but added in for a fun look. No changes will be coming to the entry sent in for the Uni Watch competition, but C&C is still welcomed.
  7. This is the USBL. The United States Baseball League is comprised of 32 teams. There are 4 divisions, (North, South, East and West) with 8 teams in each division. Team names and designs are inspired by the 1900’s - 1940’s baseball era. The USBL has a 100 game season. Each division winner makes the playoffs. There are also 4 wild card spots. Each division winner automatically gets a 1, 2, 3 or 4 seed. The teams with the next four best records will get the 5, 6, 7 and 8 seeds. USA Baseball

Hey all! Back with another baseball concept. Just trying my hand at USA Baseball. Tell me what you think.... Primary Script Home Uniform Road Uniform
  9. This concept was started a few years ago here: http://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98132-vintage-style-lipscombcoloradohoward/ . And I just went back and cleaned it up. Let me know what you think of the updates. Here is the image: And a GIF for comparison:
  10. It's been a while since I posted a concept. My last American soccer league did not go as well as I had planned. So I've switched gears from computer designed to hand drawn. I started to do this all the way back in July and have worked on it off and on since then. The United States Soccer League(USSL) and Canadian Soccer League (CSL) USSL So way back in 1902 6 clubs from the East coast and Midwest. Since then it has expanded to 75 teams an three tiers. Each state has at least 1 team plus Washington DC and Puerto Rico. CSL Established in 1971 with 6 teams across Canada, and now has twenty teams. Each providence and territory has at least 1 team. This is just like any other soccer league with regulations and promotions in the USSL. CSL is more MLS format with the same 20 teams each year. See the league rules here: (not completely finished yet) https://docs.google.com/document/d/14ndiQfsGJJM-iI9UaHcMU7QgyM5riBzH6aMvy4oP6PU/pub American aspects: Playoffs to determine champion, draft, free agents, trades, etc. European aspects: points system, regulation/promotion, etc. One major thing though: Soccer is the only major sport in the world. No NFL, MLB, NBA, or NHL. Volleyball and other similar sports continue, but all of the major athletes play in this league(i.e. Steph Curry, Mike Trout, Sidney Crosby, Antonio Brown, etc.) League Logos: First team to come soon!
  11. HJC (HockeyJerseyConcepts.com) has started a contest in which participants design a new logo, uniforms, and a "Wild Card" item for an NHL expansion team called the Americans, based off of the old Brooklyn Americans hockey club. I put my club in Seattle, made a logo and jerseys, as well as a rally/playoff towel. All designs are below. There ya go! What do you think? Here's the contest link, by the way.
  12. Concept basketball league. Anyone can upload teams until i feel we have enough teams. start off with just a logo or logo package. Teams can be anywhere in North America.
  13. Hello! This is a concept for a football team in Saint Louis, Missouri. I'll be working on it some more in the future til then, feel free to critique. Also please keep these ideas in mind: - I have no clue how pandas are related to St. Louis. Oh well! - The base Helmet was created by Chris Maurer http://boards.sportslogos.net/profile/41368-theoneandonlymau/ - The rest of this project is at https://www.behance.net/gallery/43599225/St-Louis-Pandas-Football-Design Enjoy!
  14. So the reason I've been so quiet on the concepts front is because I have a regular day job designing scarves for a company called Global Scarves. Between the youth soccer teams, rugby tournaments, and breweries, sometimes I design scarves for the American Outlaws. Each chapter needs a different look, one that stands out from the others. So that's why I decided on posting all the AO scarves I've made in the last 2 months in a nice little Behance piece. Check out them all here
  15. Hey guys, I'm back with another series! NORTH AMERICAN HOCKEY ASSOCIATION This series is inspired by Raysox's World Ice Hockey Federation (I think that's right?). However, instead of focusing on several hockey leagues around the world, this thread has one league compromising of professional hockey teams in North America. TEAMS/ALIGNMENT Hockey teams are drawn from several North American leagues, including the NHL, WHL, OHL and QMJHL, to form a league of fifty teams. There are two conferences, Canadian and American, each consisting of 25 teams. From there, teams are split into five divisions, with five teams per division. LOGOS Logos are inspired by the NHL logo. To have an easier effect on your eyes, gradients were removed and each logo consists of two colors. PLAYOFFS/BRACKETS Out of the 50 teams, 32 teams qualify for the playoffs each year. The winners of each division are given the top five spots in their conference. After that, teams will have to fight for the remaining 11 wild card spots. STANDINGS Seeding is determined by a win-loss record. Tiebreakers include most regulation wins, most goals for, least goals against. If any teams are tied in all of these cases, a tiebreaker game will take place. GAMES Each game will consist of three periods, each twenty minutes long with a fifteen-minute intermission between each. If teams are tied after regulation, they will go into overtime. Overtime is sudden death with five periods lasting fifteen minutes, with a one-minute intermission between each. If a team cannot score in one period, they will move on to the next. Each period of overtime is different. Each one is listed below. *Five minutes of 5 on 5* *Four minutes of 4 on 4* *Three minutes of 3 on 3* *Two minutes of 2 on 2* *One minute of 1 on 1* If teams do not score after overtime, they will proceed to a shootout. During the course of the regular season, each team will play 90 games (45 home, 45 away). *4 games against each divisional teams (16)* *2 games against each team in conference (48)* *2 out-of-conference games against a designated team (2)* *1 out-of-conference game vs. each of the remaining teams (24)* SPECIAL EVENTS During the course of the regular season certain events will take place. *Three Winter Classics, each in select cities, during the first weekend in January* *The Champions Game, an outdoor game that takes place in the city of the reigning champion, versus the runner-up. Takes place at the beginning of the season* *All-Star game in February, American Conference vs. the Canadian Conference* --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SKIP AHEAD TEAMS Anaheim Ducks Arizona Coyotes Barrie Colts Blainville Armada Boston Bruins SPECIAL EVENTS Winter Classic: Chicago
  16. In light of the MLB's Fourth of July uniforms and logo, I thought to myself, "thank God the NBA doesn't do something like this!" Well, first, they don't play any regular season games in July, and second, they're probably more into camouflage and sleeves right now (until the 2017-18 season starts). But I thought it would be cool to see what the Jerry West Logoman looks like in front of the American flag. As usual, I only used MS Paint. Comments and suggestions welcomed. Enjoy!
  17. Playing around with the USA National Soccer Kit. I can't stand what Nike has done the last few design cycles. The best kit they ever did was the centennial design. It was simple, clean, and actually used our colors! I took the current redesigned logo and integrated it into a similar design to the centennial look. To distinguish us from everyone else I went with the striped socks to reflect "Old Glory". No neon color accents, no Popsicle stripes, and no black.
  18. I love US soccer, and the new logo is okay, but could be better. SO while I had some time the other night, I worked on a new logo. I used Conrad's USA Font for this. The year is 1913, the year USA soccer came into existence. Added a soccer ball so it would be soccer specific. Extended the stripes to fill some blank space, but I might take those away if it doesn't go over well. C&C appreciated! Thanks! Uniforms to come.
  19. US Soccer Copa America When a team is celebrating the anniversary of something they will usually use classic jerseys, just look at the Canadiens 100th, the Ducks' 20th, and so on. For the 100th anniversary of the Copa America, US Soccer did not do this. So I came up with this concept. The home is very clean and a bit similar to the US's 2013 kit, which was a throwback to the US's Original soccer kits in 1930. After seeing the actual away kits that the US will wear which feature red and blue split sleeves and a black base I came up with this more traditional split kit. Ultimately, with US Soccer releasing their newer, cleaner, crisper logo, I think kits like these would be the perfect bring in the new era of US Soccer. Let me know what you guys think, I set up a poll so feel free to vote. I am open to creative criticism so throw any suggestions out there. Please don't bother telling me the font looks bad because I know. I am a bit of a stickler for using the correct font and since I could not find the actual font the US will use this summer to download, I copy and pasted the font from an image and re sized and recolored it. I did do previous US Soccer concepts, the home concept I did can be found here and the away concept I did can be found here

    Team USA Soccer

I don't post very often, and actually have never done anything soccer related, but when I saw the new logo and leaked jersey I just couldn't help myself. I think it's a step in the right direction, but I wanted to try something a little different. So without further ado, here's what I could come up with. Just as a side note, the change kits could be worn as solid colors and the alt set would be used as a warm up or a special occasion/rivalry type match. C&C is welcome!
  21. World Cup of Hockey Concepts I made these about a year ago for a design contest on HockeyJerseyConcepts.com and since the world cup logos and jerseys were released last night I thought it might be fun to revisit them now. Now I will be the first to admit, some of these are crap. This was one of my first ventures into Photoshop and also one of the first times I've made a logo, so please keep that in mind when you are criticizing them. I may go back and do the US jersey again without the sash just for the hell of it so keep and eye out for that. Other than that, enjoy my concepts from last year and let me know what you think. #MakeDonaldDrumpfAgain (why not)
  22. What if New Balance signs a league contract with the MLS. https://www.behance.net/gallery/33351437/MLS-by-New-Balance-Proposal
  23. For my 100th post I present to you... American Soccer Association History: With region leagues growing a group of investors decided to form a professional soccer league in America. In 1949 the league kicked off with 6 teams in, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, LA, and Charlotte. Since than the league has expanded to 30 teams with the latest expansion in 1999. Format: There are two conference, East and West. The teams play a 58 game season playing each team at home and on the road once. The top 8 teams from each conference make the playoffs. 1 v. 8 2 v. 7 3 v. 6 4 v. 5 play in a best of 3 series. The next round is best of 5 and the conference championships and ASA Cup are best of 7. Kits: Prior to the 2016 season the ASA joined with Nike, adidas, and Under Armour to give each team a new set of kits. Rules: 3 Kits(Primary, Clash, Third) Each team will have a sponsor based or started in their area(ex. Pittsburgh-Heinz) I'm not a fan of league wide fonts so each team will have unique font. Here's the league logo from the 2015 season(2016 logo to come) The first team will be up soon! Hint; Atlanta
  24. I would have entered these into the contest that ASHI hockey is having but I didn't know about it until today. I have the home and away ones done and I'm working on the alternative one. The logo on the right shoulder would change for each ISBHF event.
  25. I'd love to get some thoughts on this jersey design I created for the USA Ball Hockey jersey contest. I created two custom logos along with a custom keyboardable font. The theme I'm rolling with is the "Red, White, & Blue for Gold" hence the gold leaf accents. Feel "free" to cast your vote Here! I'd appreciate any votes as I believe the contest is winding down this week. Thanks everyone. I want to see these hanging up in a locker room!
