  1. Back in February I posted an alternate road uniform for the New York Yankees. (Link to it Here: ) And it got a few good comments about it. So this time I decided to create a Fauxback home alternate for the Yankees. I based it off their original uniform from when the team changed their name from the "Highlanders" to "Yankees" (1913) and added single color piping to the pants and to the arm cuffs so it wasn't just a plain white uniform. I also used the Yankees Navy or "Midnight Blue" color instead of the black they used for their first two seasons as the Yankees.
  2. The Yankees are one of the biggest "Untouchables" in sports. But for a while now, even as a Yankee fan, I thought they should add some alternate jerseys. At least retro alternates. So here's a road alternate based on the Yankees' road uniforms from 1927-1930:
  3. So if you guys have seen my last thread asking for team name suggestions, I want to start off saying thank you for those said suggestions! But I decided to start from square one again. Even though it barely got going.. So instead of naming the team the "New Britain ____" or the "Hardware City ____", I thought of involving the surrounding towns in with the brand instead of focusing on New Britain, CT. So, this is still going to be for a fictional Independent League team that will play at the newly vacated "New Britain Stadium" in New Britain,CT after the New Britain Rock Cats (Double-A Colorado) hightailed it to nearby Hartford, CT. I was thinking the surname being "Connecticut Valley" since New Britain is located in the middle of the CT river valley in CT, but I am open to anything else! Thanks!
  4. Hey guys. I know this post may not be in the right forum but I need some help with a personal project of mine. I am looking to create a baseball team brand from the ground up but first I want to give a little back story as to why I want to do this project.. Last summer, my hometown team, the New Britain Rock Cats announced that they will be relocating to nearby Hartford, CT for the start of the 2016 Eastern League season. I caught us all by surprise but there is a lot more that I wont get into but you can research more if you wish. Anyway, with the Rock Cats leaving New Britain, it will leave the 6,000+ New Britain Stadium without a team. There are rumored talks of getting an Atlantic League (Independent) team to relocate or as an expansion. So, I want to try to give a name/look to the possible team. I want the team name/mascot to have something to do with the city & it's history. For most of the city's history, New Britain was the home to many manufacturing companies. Most of them have moved elsewhere or have closed all together but some still remain, like Stanley Black & Decker. I want the team to be the "Hardware City _________" but "New Britain" will work as well.
