  1. Hey all. Mark Cuban has just decided to build a new stadium in Pittsburgh and start up an MLS expansion team, Pittsburgh FC! (I wish!) Soccer kits and logo design are new for me so any CC is much appreciated Only have the home jersey done for now. Let me know if I should go on with the other two jerseys. Thanks! Sorry for the AWFUL crop job. Not sure what was happening.
  2. Hey everyone, I worked on fixing up the Canes into something they I wish they would wear. The design incorporates elements from their new and old jerseys... I also attempted to make a new wordmark for the team but I'm not sure if I like the way it came out. I'm relatively new to designing concepts and using illustrator so C&C is welcomed! 3. Hello everyone! This is my first ever attempt at making a jersey concept and also my first time ever using Adobe Illustrator. I decided to work on making a new home jersey for the Canes that takes the best elements of their old uniforms as well as the new ones such as the warning flag stripes and the extended yoke, I also took the 2 white stripes that's on the current home uniform and incorporated it. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out but let me know what you think and any advice for the future! FirstCanesConcept.pdf
  4. My main questions are: Do I ditch the light blue altogether? Should I keep the shoulders the way they are? Is the logo on the jersey too big?
  5. NFL: Best current helmet: Bengals (edging out Giants) Best current color set: Broncos orange (a lot of people will disagree with this, and that's okay; Packers, Chiefs, Raiders, and Vikings all very strong too) Best current white set: Giants white over grey (edging out Colts all-white) Best current non-throwback alternate: Texans red over white Best currently-worn throwback: Rams royal over yellow Best 2015 Color Rush: Rams yellow Worst current helmet: Jaguars (no other team in the same zip code) Worst current color set: A fierce competition for this dishonor. Buccaneers' red-over-pewter edges out the others. Jags' all-black just a stone's throw away. Worst current white set: Browns' white over brown; Browns' white over white comes in second Worst current non-throwback alternate: 49ers' all-black, easily Worst currently-worn throwback: Steelers' bumblebees Worst 2015 Color Rush: Jaguars' whatever-they-called-it Most blandly inoffensive and mediocre overall look: Dolphins MLB: Best current main cap: Giants' orange interlocking SF on black cap (edging out Yankees) Best current white set: Yankees Best current grey set: Cubs (hate the Cubs, but wish they'd wear grey more and the blue shirts less) Best current color set: Mariners' teal over white with navy blue caps Best current non-color alternate: Phillies' cream jerseys with blue caps Best currently-worn throwback: Either Phillies' cream jerseys (if it's eligible for both honors) or Brewers' ball-in-glove set Worst current main cap: Any of the Diamondbacks' gradient caps will do Worst current white set: Diamondbacks' teal-free main versions Worst current grey set: Not a lot of truly bad greys these days. Maybe the Twins or Brewers or (much as it pains me to say it) the Reds. Worst current color set: Marlins' black over grey (edging out Marlins' black over white) Worst current non-color alternate: Not a whole lot to choose from. Maybe Mets' non-pinstriped whites. Would pick the Angels' red-sleeved vests if they still wore them. Worst currently-worn throwback: Can't really find a bad one. I'll put this up for debate, I guess. Most blandly inoffensive and mediocre overall look: I'd have said Padres before their recent redesign. Now I'll have to go with the Rays, although I like their fauxback and their light-blue alternate. I'll put up my NBA and NHL picks later.
  6. Hey Guys! Im sure this has been done but here is my take on concept home an away jerseys for the Calgary Flames. I love simplicity, less is more. Hope you guys like this one! C&C Welcome!
  7. So, after feedback from those about my Stadium Series sweaters being too good to be Stadium Series apparel, I went back and looked at how to make the jerseys modern, yet keep the classic feel. I've narrowed it down to two sets, I feel they deserved their own thread as they won't have the Stadium Series Patch, nor the cream color. I've been a bit lazy in getting them posted, and today I look and see Demonkah's set, so they may appear a bit redundant, but still hopefully a little different. Here ya go. Home Sets: While A1 is strictly a classic look, with A2, I wanted to add a little flavor, and tried a white yoke, but wasn't feeling it, so tried gray and black and liked it. Not sure how others will feel about it. Road Sets: I really like both Road sets, but for me and B1, it's a teal-palooza. B2, adds a little contrast with the teal hem/sleeves and the black yoke. Which ones do you like? C&C is welcome as always.
  8. CLICK for Original Divisions: NFC EAST // AFC EAST // NFC NORTH // AFC NORTH // NFC WEST// AFC WEST // NFC SOUTH // AFC SOUTH CLICK for Updates: UPDATE 1 (PHI, DAL, GB, CHI) // UPDATE 2 (CIN, SEA) In March of 2012, I posted the last team in my NFL Redesign thread. I was overwhelmingly busy, excruciatingly happy, and somewhat tired of the way I made my uniforms. You see, for those who remember and for those who don't, I would post each of my teams as I created the concept. As a result, my thread was littered with different templates, updates, styles, and levels of ability over the span of almost a year and a half. Even at that point, I only had completed around 20 teams. Many of you enjoyed my concepts, and I hope that you will again, because... In December of 2012, in the long lull of Winter, and not in the same ecstatic state I had been in the previous Spring, I decided that after 9 months away, I wanted to return to my uniforms. I adopted a new template, finally based in the reality of the NFL under Nike. Most importantly, I decided to complete all of the NFL teams before I would begin to post them. Every four days, starting on Friday, March 14th, I will post a new division. The schedule is as follows: NFC East: 3/15/13 || AFC East: 3/19/13 || NFC North: 3/23/13 || AFC North: 3/27/13 || NFC West: 3/31/13 || AFC West: 4/4/13 || NFC South: 4/8/13 || AFC South: 4/12/13 I'm really excited, and happy to finally be back to posting on the boards here. I hope that all of you will enjoy, "like", and of course leave your Comments & Criticisms. See you all below!
