  1. Over the past year or so, I've been working on concepts for IIHF teams. I think I got a little bit carried away. I've completed uniform designs for every single IIHF national team, including some other teams that haven't received IIHF recognition. 93 teams in all, 199 uniforms total. With Nike releasing the uniforms for this year's Olympics this week - and many not getting a good response - this felt like the right time to post these. All the designs can be found via this imgur link. Just to save you a click, here's what the teams taking part in this year's Olympics should (for me) look like.
  2. Taking a small break from my city mashup series in order for me to complete my concepts for HJC's World Hockey Jersey Championship. First up is Canada. For this, I used the Chest stripe from their vintage jerseys, and added the two stripes from their modern jerseys. A vintage-style maple leafs adorns the front, and black is relegated to the equipment. C&C is appreciated!
  3. Haven't had too much time to work on much of anything recently, but with HJC's latest competition starting up, I figured it would be a good time to get back in the design game. The rules for this competition allow for you to submit 3 concepts for teams at the '17 IIHF World Championship (USA, Canada, and your choice). If I can, I'd love to turn this into a series, but for now I am just going to post my work for those first three teams. I'll start off by posting Team USA...C&C appreciated!
  4. I was experimenting with @McElroy19's Full-body Iceborn template and decided to do a concept for the czech republic.Their current jerseys aren't that great, without any arm or hem stripes, and even though I like flag jerseys, theirs wasn't executed all that great. So I wanted to make a concept that was like their flag jersey, but still had the design of a traditional jersey. The design features a timeless large hem stripe that, just like the flag, features a half-and-half design. I chose to make the home yoke white instead of blue to differentiate them from Russia a little bit. Tying it all together is a font that I feel works perfect with the jersey. C&C is appreciated!
  5. The IIHF or International Ice Hockey Federation is worldwide governing body for Hockey. (Ice Hockey in most places.) And there are 77 members, or countries, in the IIHF. 54 are full time members, 21 Associate Members, and just 2 affiliate members. I will be redesigning the full time members, as if Adidas became the uniform supplier. I hope to get the concepts done as frequent as possible, but I'm pretty busy trying to finish up school... Here's the list of what I've finished so far.... Great Britain Norway USA Great Britain Great Britain has more hockey history than you'd think. Lord Stanley bought the silver cup, that evolved into the current Stanley Cup, in Sheffield, England, and the Great Britain National team won the Olympic gold medal in 1936. The Alternate is based off of those 1936 jerseys. The regular jerseys are inspired by the EA sports NHL Legacy Edition video game and the Great Britain jerseys... C&C Appreciated!
  6. Hey guys! I've recently just made a hockey template with the intention of just showing my Wild logo, but I figured i'd try my hand at some other teams' jerseys and see what you guys think. the first international jersey I've tried is Canada. Will be adding more teams and the rest of the uniform components when time allows. thanks for looking! EDIT: heres a nike vers for those who may dislike my logo.
  7. My all-time favorite iihf jerseys are
  8. After being dormant on posts over the last while, I decided to do some designs for international jerseys. First up is Finland. I got the striping idea from their Olympic jerseys and used the logo because I thought it worked best with the jersey. Thoughts?
  9. So it's that time of year again, as tomorrow marks the start of the 2014 IIHF World Juniors in Malmo, Sweden. Sweden is a powerhouse, the USA is gonna contend, Russia's gonna Russia it up and score a lot of goals, and my own Team Canada is kinda scaring me. Post predictions, updates and opinions on the World Juniors as the need arises, and Merry Christmas!
  10. Hello, I've been making a few IIHF (random countries pretty much) and decided to do the Netherlands, aka Holland. Well I took inspiration from their other sport teams and used only orange and white. With that comes a major problem, the equipment. Orange: The pants, gloves and helmet would be way too bright, especially with the orange jersey. Black: Though the contrast would contrast would work, the jerseys have no black in them. Now the other sports teams wear white pants to balance the jersey, but white pants with a hockey jersey look horrible! These are the jerseys that I plan to use with the concept are below, thanks for all the help!
  11. I recently did an IIHF Redesign for all ten teams in the World Junior Hockey Championship, and I thought I'd post them here. I'll post five today, and the other five in a day or two. As always C&C is appreciated. Canada: I used a simple striping pattern, but added Maple Leafs to the sleeves. Black is still around, but it isn't used anywhere on the striping. Czech Republic: This is inspired by their current uniforms, but I changed it up too look less like a Nike Swift template. I also made blue more prominent on the red jersey. Finland: I used some elements from their current jerseys, but changed a lot of stuff up trying to make their look better and more uniform. Germany: I really like how Germany's current uniforms use their flag as the striping pattern, so I kept that. I just changed up a few minor things that bugged me. Latvia: I wanted Latvia's flag to be the main focus of this concept. I used the flag as the sleeve and hem striping on the white jersey. For the dark jersey, I basically made the whole jersey one big flag.
  12. Well, it looks like nobody cares about this enough to make a topic about it, so I will. Who will win? Who will be the underdogs? How will Canada fare?Answer these questions however you want, because it's World Junior Time!
