  1. Decided to have a crack at making my own concepts thread here, see how I can improve and tinker with my design skills and sensibilities. All of my concepts are going to be using the Adizero template made by Steven over on HockeyJerseyConcepts, for clarity's sake; it's my template of choice for hockey jerseys. First up are the Tampa Bay Lightning. I'm sure many of us are not exactly fans of Tampa's current identity, namely the colors and logo, so I decided to revamp the team's identity a bit. My main goal with these jerseys was to try and make the team more visually distinct from Toronto when it comes to color layout. If you have any ideas on how to improve them, feel free to reply and tell me; I'm open to suggestions as to how to tweak these. For sweeping changes, I've gone ahead and replaced the current primary logo with it's previous equivalent; I chose the late-00's logo because it was modern enough to work without being overly simple like the oft-maligned current logo, plus it didn't have the (in my opinion) outdated text style of the original Tampa logo. The secondary logo remains the same as it is currently. For colors; the blue has gone from Toronto-lite to a more vibrant electric blue, tying into the team's name. Black is now the secondary color again, with the top of the jersey being predominantly black with blue and white as accents to firmly set a new chromatic identity for the franchise. Jersey text and numbers are primarily white, with the numbers and front letters having blue and black outlining. Obviously, the away jersey is pretty similar to the home jersey, just with some of the colors flipped about; white replaces blue, blue replaces black, black replaces white. I think it looks pretty nice, though; the added black makes the jersey less monochromatic and the electric blue really pops. The jersey text and numbers are black with blue bordering to keep them easily legible at a distance. The third jersey uses the oh-so-beloved "BOLTS" wordmark on a black jersey. Blue is the secondary color, while white is pushed to a tertiary accent alongside the new addition of a silvery-gray color. The outlines of the numbers and front letter are now silver, as well.
  2. In this thread I will posting NHL concepts in no particular order. The Dallas Stars are probably my favourite identity in the NHL right now, so I didn't want to stray too far away from their current jerseys. For the home jersey, I modified their current home striping pattern and added a white yoke. The only thing i'm not sure about is if the helmet should be black or green. I made the away jersey's striping pattern like the home's, kept the green yoke, but used a black outline on it. Home: Away: C&C is appreciated!
  3. Hey guys, I thought I would share with you some concepts I have been doing for a concept page on Instagram known as World of Jersey Concepts. Myself and 3 other artists are currently hard at work finishing up our first series where we are attempting to design alternate jerseys for each team in the league. I'll be posting each jersey I created for the series and maybe a handful that won't end up in the final series. To see each team go to @worldofjerseyconcepts on instagram and give us a like and some feedback. Anyways on to the concepts. First up is the Chicago Blackhawks. For this concepts I wanted to create a modern incarnation of the classic Hawks look and avoid throwbacks. What I came up with is a two-toned alternate featuring bent striping, a first for the club.Let me know what you guys think.
  4. Here is the complete lineup of American League uniform adjustments and concepts that I mentioned on my other page of National League concepts. (You can find that topic right here: http://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/103700-complete-nl-uniform-adjustments-and-concepts-updated/ ) They have been broken up into two parts due to the limit allowed on pictures per posting. I will possibly make better versions of each uniform on a better template eventually, but for now I've just finalized the ideas of my designs and I'm looking for feedback. A description of each jersey is at the bottom of the page. Using the Wikipedia template, I tried to keep all the jerseys as close to the way they look as possible and if anything enhance them or remove elements that I felt weren't necessary or I just didn't like. Also I've included BP jerseys with each of the uniform sets, as well as a few throwbacks. The BP jerseys are made to more resemble the previous version the MLB wore prior to the kind they wear now. As an added touch, I've given all the teams traditional style stirrup socks and I've cleaned up the colors on the shoes a little bit too. Here's each team in alphabetical order.
  5. Some of you may have seen the previous versions of my National League uniform concepts that I was posting one day at a time on a separate topic, but to make it easier to look at and since I've also come up with some better ideas since then, here is the complete lineup of every NL uniform that I have created. (However due to the fact that the amount of jerseys exceeds the limit of images that one is allowed to post, I've broken it up into two parts.) I've gone back and made some minor modifications to a few of the existing ones, as well as adding some new jerseys.
