  1. The British Gridiron League (BGL) brings American Football to the United Kingdom and Ireland, and to Europe. With the playing of the NFL London games, the sport has gained popularity in the country. The creation of a separate league in the British Isles allows for the sport to be played there, without the NFL having to commit to having a full team there. The NFL would still play the London Series. The league would start with 10 12 teams, divided into a North Division and a South Division. The rules would be mostly the same as the NFL, *except with XFL-style kickoffs*. South Division London Knights Southampton Storm Spitfires Bristol Marauders Birmingham Cannons Cardiff Dragons Belfast Dublin Emeralds North Division Edinburgh Highlanders Kelpies Manchester Industry Liverpool Steamers Glasgow Griffons Leeds Owls Newcastle Vibe The season would run for 14 weeks, from the beginning of April through July. Each team would play each of their division opponents twice, and 3 of the teams from the other division. Each team would get one bye week. The playoffs would run over a course of four weeks, with a week between the Division Semis and Division Finals, and 2 weeks between the Division Finals and League Championship. Just wanted to get the league concept on here.
  2. Shad Khan In Deal to Buy Wembley Stadium. Just when you thought the NFL Franchise Merry Go Round had stopped for a while... new speculation emerges. It seems unlikely to me, but has Khan given up on Jacksonville and is he willing to take the London plunge?
  3. After spending far too many hours in the pubs around East London, it suddenly dawned on me that a lot of my favourite drinking establishments could have sports logo designed around their names. I have started to create the East London Pub League (working title) which will feature logos for 16 different East London boozers. Not quite sure which sport they will be representing, but I think I'll be heading towards an American Football League with 4 conferences. I will try and inject a little bit of humour when I can, but my aim is to design serious branding for each pub to help sharpen my design skills. No idea how long this will take to complete, but just going to post as and when I can. 4. Hey everyone, I work for my city's Jr B hockey club as graphic designer, and I've always had ideas for speciality jerseys that we could wear throughout the year. This November for Remembrance Day, I have designed a special Canadian Military themed jersey. It's based off of what Canadian Military personal wear when not in combat. Sadly this won't see the ice First time designing a jersey like this, let me know what you think!
