  1. Under Armour just told UCLA they want to end their deal. How would the bruins look in Nike digs? Nothing ground breaking here... New Colors inline with the rest of UCLA's teams New Helmet striping Updated gold helmet that takes on the new color and satin finish The current helmets are a disgusting shade Truncated Nike style UCLA Stripe Maybe not a popular opinion, but I think the bold truncated stripes look much better than what they wear today
  2. *Update* This is an old thread I made a few years ago, dedicated strictly to Big Ten uniforms. I've decided to re-purpose it into a general thread for all my college football concepts. The first few pages will be just the older B10 uniforms, then I'll combine in a few other older non-B10 stuff, and going forward it will be what ever college concepts I come up with. IMO the current multi-uniform craze that's been strangling college football for the past 7 or 8 years now, has reached a point of maximum stupidity. At one time, you could argue that it was cool to be one of the teams that pulled off some unexpected out-of-the-box alternate look (I'd probably argue that it was never all that cool, but you could argue it was)... but now? When 4th tier nobody teams hit the field in chrome/matte/charcoal/pattered silliness "Jumped the Shark" doesn't even begin to cover it. With that in mind, I'm remaking the 14 teams of Big Ten, each in a solid signature look. Each team gets just one home jersey, one road jersey, one helmet, one pair of shoes, one pair of socks, and a maximum of two pairs of pants. IMO if the elements are most clearly what each team should be wearing nothing else is needed. I also wanted to put each team into a Nike template, the idea being that, if the conference was united in this "one best look" concept, they should also be united in a single template. With that... here we go!

I dont know where to start to be honest so I will keep it short. First of I must tell you that my concepts would not be possible without @Hoopladawg87! He has given me much thought and guidance throughout the creative processes which resulted into this. I can't thank you enough, Hoopla! One thing you guys will probably notice that my template is basically a cheap copy of his, which it really is, and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery after all! So with my limited skills and an eye to detail severely lacking, I tried to make my template like his with the hopes that it would give the concepts a heightened sense of realism. As this is my first post on this great forum it felt only natural to present my favourite team, arguably the greatest franschise in the NBA - the Boston Celtics. The Boston Celtics home and away uniforms, now named association and icon, are timeless. Clean, classic and one of the most recognizable in sports. Ever since I saw the St. Patricks uniform I could never shake the feeling that gold is such a beautiful complementary colour to the kelly green and white. I made several renditions but I felt the gold trim was too much, too invasive and bordering on sacrilege. The route, or solution, was to change the Nike logo and players name on the back to gold. A minor change, almost unrecognizable but I feel it is in tune with Nike's minimalistic direction. All comments and criticisms are greatly appreciated! This is the big one. I've had the bits and pieces of this one working for two and half years and I finally feel ready enough to get this one out to the public. This project began when I wondered one day what would happen if Nike did something ludicrous and somehow managed to get apparel rights to every single FBS level team. Of course this is seemingly impossible in the real world, but it was fun to think about. Then I took it one step further. Not only would get every FBS football team, but if every FBS football team also had a Division 1 basketball, baseball and hockey team for Nike to get their hands on. So the goal here is one, to actually finish this idea, but more than that, is to see if I can create a unique identity for 130 some teams across 4 different sports. This means that some traditional looks will be changed slightly and some might change drastically. Nevertheless, I'm excited to get this off the ground and share it with you guys. Teams will be posted as I get them done and will be done in a random order I have created with some help from the internet and first up is the Ohio Bobcats of the MAC: (I also will create one of these cool team headers for every team). Ohio's sports have a rather laid back and simplistic look to them. Even with adidas/Russell at the helm of their apparel, they don't have too crazy of a look and I kept that in mind as I designed their uniforms for this. Keeping that in mind, I left their football uniforms pretty much the same as they have been the last couple years. Biggest change here is the addition of real pants stripes as opposed to no stripes or very short stripes. I limited black to an alternate set that would hopefully be worn separately, but in the current state of college football we all know that wouldn't happen. The hockey uniforms are very similar to how the football uniforms go. I did consider shoulder logos for them but I didn't keep them, as it just didn't feel right to me. Baseball uniforms again are very simple and consistent with the rest of the uniforms. Biggest thing here and across the board is that there is no longer a "grey away" designation. Unless a team has grey in their set, I won't be giving a team a grey uniform for baseball. Basketball is consistent with the rest. I didn't want to go full Celtics with Ohio, so the double stripe pattern is on the shoulders and the collar trim is a solid color. On the shorts the waistband is striped and the hem is a solid color. C&C is welcome as always. Given the larger nature of this thread, I'll try and get the next team up as soon as I can.

  6. Hello everyone! Due to this quarantine, I have decided to start back up a Baseball Concept Uniform Tread! Each team will have at least one home alternate and road alternate uniform, and one spring training uniform. C&C is always appreciated, so please give your feedback! I will start with the American League then move to the National League. I hope you enjoy! BALTIMORE ORIOLES: The Orioles have some of the nicest uniforms in the league, in my opinion. The black and orange work really well together. I wanted to make the Orioles a primary orange team(which is what they should always be), so I added a orange hat to the road uniform, road alternate uniform 1, and the Spring Training uniform. I added another black uniform using the "O's" logo, maybe a jersey they wear on special occasions on the road. HOME: ROAD: HOME ALT: ROAD ALT 1: ROAD ALT 2: SPRING TRAINING:
  7. Just for fun. May turn in to a series. First up - Sacramento Kings. The baby blue, white, and red uniforms originally worn back in the 80's. Throughout the years the Kings have worn them as hardwood classic jersey and more recently they've been the inspiration behind the Kings' city uniforms. collage by NBA Uniforms Project, on Flickr I wanted to keep this trend going for the Kings. However, I also wanted to change it up a bit considering that we will likely see a new city uniform every year. For 2019/20 I designed the Kings city uniform to be predominately white. I was also inspired by the retro Kings' (Royals) jersey with bold simple piping. A little more modern by not including a wordmark - idea was that the colors and design should be easily identifiable. Retro Kings wordmark on shorts and regal emblem on waist band. Thoughts? C&C always appreciated. SacKingsCity by NBA Uniforms Project, on Flickr
  8. With the NBA switching to Nike upon the expiration of Adidas' contract with the League at the end of this season, this thread will be where I'll share all of my designs. Ideally I want to create home and away uniforms for all 30 teams, but that may be a bit ambitious so we'll see what happens. I'll start with one uniform for each of the 16 playoff teams and then hopefully progress from there. This will be an exercise focusing primarily on colors, fonts, and minimalist design elements to create a clean and unique look for each team that reinforces or in some cases redesigns their brand. As always, any and all comments and criticisms are greatly appreciated! Indiana Pacers Away Uniform This takes the clean aesthetic of their current look and recalls the more yellow-centric color balance of their uniforms from the early '90s, adding a sublimated checkerboard racing stripe pattern along the side panels. Chicago Bulls Away Uniform While black is typically used as an alternate uniform color for the Bulls, the Jordan-era pinstripes were too classic to pass up. This look doesn't reinvent those classic jerseys so much as it simply reapplies it to the updated Nike Aeroswift jersey template.
  9. Hello everyone! I'm going to be sharing my NBA concepts: I started these two years ago, then in this time I redid everything like two or three times before having the almost final version. I’ll post with home/road/third/alternate jerseys for each team and then maybe I'll post some outtakes or other proposal. Before I get into it, major thanks to all the other designers on these boards who keep putting out inspiring stuff. All comments and criticisms are greatly appreciated! 1)Milwaukee Bucks 2)Indiana Pacers 3)Utah Jazz
  10. I rebranded the Colorado Rockies due to their current boring, branding. - Updated the color scheme to more vibrant purple. - New primary logo with mountain and Colorado "c." - Used the Denver Nuggets miner logo to create a secondary mascot logo for the Rockies. I slightly edited it and updated its aesthetic. - New wordmark using a script font. - All new jerseys.
  11. For the 2020 MLB season, I decided to create some Nike MLB jersey concepts for Players' Weekend using the new Nike Baseball Jersey template. I wanted to create something unique with these jerseys. I used a lot of alternate colors and alternate logos on the jerseys, and made fauxbacks for some teams as well. If you are wondering why the Mets are black and pink, it is because when they were formed they were supposed to be black and pink. I'm not entirely happy with the Rockies, Rays, and Astros. For the Rockies I didn't really have any ideas for, while the Astros and Rays jerseys didn't come out as well as I thought they would. Thanks for viewing.
  12. I decided to do a Nike MLB Uniform Refresh, some teams will get total rebrands, some will have altered colors, some will have new alternates, or get new throwbacks. Visit my Behance to see my other sports designs: https://www.behance.net/ianrasovsky For the diamondbacks, I updated the home and away uniforms by replacing the sand accents with teal, solidifying teal as their new tertiary color. I also added their purple alternate from 1998 on the new Nike MLB teamplate. I also created a new home cap, that replaced the sand in the diamonbacks's "A" logo.
  13. I joined just a few months ago after years of lurking here, so I thought I might as well get started on sharing my own concepts with the community. I am trying to make a Nike set for NBA teams (consisting of association, icon, statement, and either one or the other of a city or a classic). I started with my favorite, also slightly updated their primary and alternate logo. Philadelphia 76ers - White (Association); Red (Icon); Blue (Statement); White (Classic - 2001 Home Uniform)
  14. Now that the Padres and Brewers have unveiled new identity packages which have, for the most part, been very well received by most of us on these forums, which Major League Baseball team do you feel is now most due for an identity refresh? Personally, I would look out West to the AL. I feel the Mariners, Angels and Rangers identities are all beginning to look a bit stale and could use a freshening up. Frankly I'm a bit surprised the Rangers did not announce a uniform update this winter to coincide with their moving to Globe Life Field in 2020. This thread is meant to discuss which MLB teams you feel are most in need of an update, and to offer suggestions as to how you would go about changing their current look.
  15. I am starting "another" MLB thread, but the catch here is the concepts are modeled after the college baseball nike designs. This means a ton of options, fauxbacks, and non-traditional designs. The first team is the Houston Astros, a team many college programs model uniforms after. I took a page out of the NCAA's book and brought back the rainbow guts with a modern twist. Additionally, the more traditional options have added a shooting star above the team names. C&C are appreciated, but any edits will be about 2 months out.
  16. Welcome to 1stRound DraftPick’s Super Jersey Collection! In this thread, we’ll find out what every MLB team would look like if they kept ALL of their jerseys, and simply updated them. As a result, each team would have a plethora of uniforms to choose from for their 162 game schedules. I have a few rules for deciding which jersey to use/update. - Each team is limited to TWELVE (12) main rotation jerseys. Yes. Twelve. - Really old jerseys must be updated in some capacity. However, there are a few exceptions. - Jerseys that look too similar to a previous incarnation must be considered updates. Therefore, they cannot co-exist. - Teams can use jerseys from a previous iteration of their franchise, or from another franchise with the same name. For example, the current Milwaukee Brewers can use updated versions of the uniforms worn by the old Milwaukee Brewers that existed from 1894-1901, despite them being separate franchises. - New jerseys can also be added. Alright, with that out of the way….let’s get this started! Here’s a quick link to each team’s jersey collection: AL EAST Baltimore Orioles Boston Red Sox New York Yankees Tampa Bay Rays Toronto Blue Jays AL CENTRAL Chicago White Sox Cleveland Indians Detroit Tigers Kansas City Royals Minnesota Twins AL WEST Houston Astros Los Angeles Angels Oakland Athletics Seattle Mariners Texas Rangers NL EAST Atlanta Braves Miami Marlins New York Mets Philadelphia Phillies Washington Nationals NL CENTRAL Chicago Cubs Cincinnati Reds Milwaukee Brewers Pittsburgh Pirates St. Louis Cardinals NL WEST Arizona Diamondbacks Colorado Rockies Los Angeles Dodgers San Diego Padres San Francisco Giants
  17. Like most fans, I was really disappointed with the unveiling of the new orange Suns jersey. It just seemed like very little thought or effort went into the design, the orange looks off-color and the organization continues to be deaf to what the fans want. So, inspired by all the ruckus, I started pumping out designs I thought would be better. Here's a look: I started with what would be my take on the jersey they released. Not a design I would have done unless forced. I enlarged the burst and added a purple outline, then off-centered the numbers a bit. The trim is classic and gives it a pop that the real version lacks. Next I did what I think they should have done if truly trying to give a nod to the 7SOL era. My first completely original design came next. I actually don't love the circle in the center, but the concept itself feels strong and could be improved if I wanted to spend the time, but I came up with better. My next design is my favorite, so I did it in all colors to see what they'd look like. A nod to the 90s era without being too much like it. Something that would stand out in today's NBA and could be used for a long time without looking too dated. Next I did my update of the classic 90s burst jerseys, removing the ball and just retaining the burst trail lines. I gave it a more extreme angle to indicate more of a rise (the sun rises, a phoenix rises, etc.). The number is placed within the burst trail, rather than below. The font for the wordmark and number are the same, which was not the case with the 90s jerseys. Also, the font is an updated look, not the exact font from the original jerseys. I did many colorways for this design. I also did these mock-ups of a design from @KUNG_FU_KELLY_ on Twitter. I think these are awesome. He did a mock-up using MS Paint and I helped him bring it to life. I've always thought all the local teams should have one game each season where they wear the colors of another local team, so I thought I'd play with the concept. Would be cool to see this happen in lots of cities. Also took a stab at the old western style. Played with size, position and spacing of wordmark and numbers on these. Finally, here's some other ideas I played around with. The Haboob Edition: An orange version of the original (don't mind the quality of the graphic - I couldn't find a HQ version online and got tired of searching): Some City Edition ideas using the AZ state flag design: Using the concept of the sun as a cosmic entity, rather than the Arizona heat and/or sunset correlation: Would love to get feedback on these. I'm truly inspired by and fueled by fans who are loving these designs on Twitter/Instagram/Reddit. Many are tagging the Suns and Nike and telling them to hire me, LOL. I'm also working on designs for other teams and will do some NFL and MLB concepts, as well. Thanks for giving me a place to share and get feedback!
  18. Hi everyone, I recently found a few new soccer templates so I wanted to try them out. I am a huge Man U fan and I've been disappointed in their recent kits especially last seasons (except the away kit.) Anyways here are a primary, clash and third kit. Any cc would be appreciated!
  19. Hey new member here I'm a full time designer that puts together Portland Trail Blazers edits, concepts, and more in my spare time. I recently put together a uniform concept for the Blazers right before they were officially unveiled and thought I'd share the template I made with you all. 20. I guess we're starting to look forward to the 2018-19 season with the recent news of the Charlotte Hornets wearing the white version of their classic throwbacks next year. Just on a side note, it'll be interesting to see if the Hornets follow that up in 2019-20 with their purple throwback jerseys? Obviously that's just speculation. As far as other changes at this point, I am not sure if we've heard anything else. I would assume more teams will wear classic throwbacks and we'll see a new wave of community jerseys since apparently those will be a yearly change for some if not all teams?
  21. I've never done NBA concept series like this before. I've only done court designs but never jerseys. Big shout out to Hoopladawg87 for sharing one of his templates with me, and to Daniel Ramone for creating it. This series is mostly a tweak of what teams were wearing during the 2017/2018 season. Home and roads only for now. I hope to finish it. Up first, the Philadelphia 76ers No major changes here. Just reverting the roads to red because blue looks a little boring them. Updating the wordmark to match the font on their 2017/18 City Jersey which I think makes the jersey looks less cluttered (thin wordmark makes more room for thick side panels). #2. Orlando Magic Inspired by the T-Mac era jerseys, as 90s as they are, I think the stars could work (if Atlanta's triangles are any indication of a watermark pattern would look like) and they're a more unique identifier than pinstripes (which I think are a little tired). I also switched the blue out for a darker shade which I think suits a Florida team more. Feedback welcome of course.
  22. In 49 states it's just basketball, but this is Indiana. This mashup jersey draws inspiration from the rich history of Indiana high school basketball which is woven into the fabric of the state's sporting culture.
  23. With the Titans releasing their new uniforms tonight, where do you all on the board rank the Nike/NFL uniform changes? Personally I think the Vikings have the best one out of the handful of teams, and goes as follows: 1. Vikings 2. Seahawks 3. Lions 4. Dolphins (First Change) 5. Tennessee (Based off the leaks) 6. Jaguars (First Change) 7. Browns 8. Tampa Bay Sorry if this post already exists somewhere or has already been done!
  24. After the announcement of Nike taking over the MLB in 2020 I wanted to start a new series, but given the multiple series relating the topic (all of them with great designs), I wanted to do something different. This series will only feature full-colour alt uniforms, whose designs will be inspired by the style Nike is currently using for their soccer kits (that’s where the series title comes from). Every team will use a pullover template, which tries to combine classic baseball uniforms with Nike’s Aeroswift style: The team list and order will be the following: AMERICAN LEAGUE Baltimore Orioles Boston Red Sox Chicago White Sox Cleveland Indians Detroit Tigers Houston Astros Kansas City Royals Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Minnesota Twins New York Yankees Oakland Athletics Seattle Mariners Tampa Bay Rays Texas Rangers Toronto Blue Jays NATIONAL LEAGUE Arizona Diamondbacks Atlanta Braves Chicago Cubs Cincinnati Reds Colorado Rockies Los Angeles Dodgers Miami Marlins Milwaukee Brewers New York Mets Philadelphia Phillies Pittsburgh Pirates San Diego Padres San Francisco Giants St. Louis Cardinals Washington Nationals I'll be posting new designs on a weekly basis, every Wednesday and Sunday. I hope you enjoy this series as much as I did designing the uniforms!
