  1. Here a re a few college logo update / different ideas. Done just for fun, I would love some feed back. They are all still works in progress (especially Hawaii), so please be kind. Thanks guys.
  2. I've taken another long break from concepts, so consider this my return. I've decided on a redesign of the Pac-12. I've completed all 12 teams before I started this thread, and I will release one every four days. I am going in a completely random order. Here are the release dates: 9/29 (Today): Oregon 10/3: Arizona 10/7: Stanford 10/11: Cal 10/15: Arizona State 10/19: Washington State 10/23: UCLA 10/27: Washington 10/31: USC 11/4: Oregon State 11/8: Utah 11/12: Colorado Starting with Oregon. Oregon gets some consistency in this set I love the "O" on the helmet, so that returns full time. Only (only?) six helmets, six jerseys, and six pants. The Duck is on the sleeves, and the shoulders have a modified wing pattern. The shoulder wings are supposed to be reflective, like this Hit me up with C&C!
  3. Portland State University has a new look, and they announced it...on a Friday night!? The primary logo is this: It's paired with a secondary... And this is the accompanying full wordmark: I dunno how to feel. I feel that the PS is kinda...wonky, and the asymmetric crossbar on the A doesn't excite me. However, they did do something I like. The weirdly shaped PS-shield is the sort of mark that, even in a silhouette, is unique. I've never seen it before, that's for sure. There are also new uniforms using a sort of Astros-esque number font.
  4. Hey guys, here for your pleasure I have Nike newest uniform template, the Elite Mach Speed set. I made this template to use for some NFL and College Football series and wanted to share with the community as well! Template is for Adobe Illustrator in an .ai file. Also included is a .psd file made directly from this template by Bucks Fan. Thanks for doing that man! Just with some of my other templates, the only thing I ask with this free template is that you mention my name (Trent Daniel or tbdaniel15) when you use this and give me credit for my work. Other than that, enjoy it! I hope it can help some of your projects pop. .psd http://www.mediafire...y_BucksFan5.rar .ai *Note* There are helmet and pant stripes hidden within the layers. Simply pressing alt+opt+3 to reveal these for you to access!
  5. Some Oregon concepts for the Alamo Bowl. The program already released its new unis for the game, but I decided to take a stab at it. Put together a black, white, and apple green version. My Instagram account is @SulphurWing6. I have a lot more college and NFL concepts on it. Home: http:// Away: http:// Apple Green: http://
  6. I had fun whipping this up today. I made some changes to Oregon's new zombie duck logo. Let me know what you think.
  7. OREGON FOOTBALL 2016 CONCEPT This is my take on what the progression of Oregon's look could be for the 2016 season if they update to the new Nike template. Other Combos:
  8. This is my Oregon State football concept uniform because I am not really a fan of there ones right now. Please leave feedback.
  9. So as the Final Four ends, it is officially (for me at least) baseball season. The other day I was watching a NCAA baseball game on ESPNU between the Oregon Ducks and their in-state rivals, Oregon State. All I could think of while watching the game was, how awful Oregon's uniforms were. They were pinstriped in front and solid in the back! For me I love a conservative and classy look for ball clubs, whether it's at the high school level, college level, or in the pros. But I get it, Oregon is crazy and since they have Nike in their back-yard, I thought I should mock up some uniforms that fuse together classy and Oregoness. C&C much appreciated as usual. Thanks for viewing. Home Sets: Away Sets:
  10. So Oregon has had their current design of uniforms for 3 years. My hometown team, the Montana Grizzlies, update their uniforms every 3 years. So I was wondering, how often does Oregon change the design of their uniforms?
  11. So let's face it. The College Football Playoff National Championship, is far short of its potential, design-wise. Of course, I started this before Oregon unveiled the gray and white uniforms this afternoon, but still, Oregon could look better than what they did in the Rose Bowl. Ohio State looked great, better than usual even, but with a few small tweaks I feel as if I created a much more solid set. Also, I haven't created a legit concept on the boards and posted it (altough there's tons on my computer) so I figured this was a good place to start. Introducing the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship game, by yours truely (made using Inkscape). First up is Rose Bowl Champs Oregon, looking for the school's first National Championship. I took inspiration from various things associated with Oregon Ducks football. First and foremost, Puddles is seen throughout the uniform, from the sleeves to the helmet. I love the logo, and changed only the color. Oregon's uniforms of the 90s were a big inspiration, as it was the set they wore when they rose to national prominence. They threw back to the set earlier in the year and I absolutely loved them. Oregon's current traditional set, as seen on Marcus Mariota in the bottom right, inspired the look as well. Autzen Stadium and Hayward Field are the inspiration of the current logo, so I included them here. The Ducks' "Win The Day" matra is included on the undershirt and on the back collar. Lastly, I took inspiration from Oregon's SCHOOL COLORS which is such a wonderful combination which isn't showcased near enough. Puddles is featured on the helmet and sleeve in all his glory, and the stripes from the 90s return. The current number font remains, and "OREGON" is represented across the chest. Puddles is at a 27 degree angle on the sleeves to represent Oregon's 27 bowl appearances. The undershirt is self explanatory, featuring the "O" logo with "WIN THE DAY" written inside it with "OREGON FOOTBALL" underneath. The gloves feature the stripes used on the uniform. A classic uniform with a bit of a twist for the Fighting Ducks. Next up, the Ohio State Buckeyes, looking for an eighth National Championship to bring back to Columbus. For Ohio State, the main inspiration was the uniforms of the 1940s. The dropshadow is present thorughout the uniform and the logos, and the Clarendon font is used on the back of the helmet. The sleeve stripes from many of Ohio State's national titles are back, as shown above in the picture from '02. The iconic Scirpt Ohio is the inspiration of one of the wordmarks, and the stained glass "O" at Ohio Stadium is featured as well. The 7 National Titles for Ohio State are represented, and the current pants remain. A bit of an oversized helmet stripe was used, albeit not as large as the Rivalry Set. The black facemask was also taken from the same helmet. And what's an Ohio State helmet without Buckeye stickers? The helmet is a traditional Buckeyes helmet, save for the black mask and green stickers. The bumper features the Script Ohio logo. The sleeves feature the traditional striping from back in the day. The numbers have a classic OSU dropshadow, outlined in black to unify the numbers and the stripes. Seven Buckeye stickers are on the back collar to symbolize the 7 national championships. The pants are, well, the same. The undershirt (which I really like) has "Ohio State Athletic Dept." again with 7 seven buckeye stickers. The gloves also feature the buckeye stickers (although 8, which for some reason I didn't think about 7...) (10, I can't count) with the new "O" Here's a sheet of all the logos used in each concept: Whew! Hope you enjoyed that write-up. Enjoy the game! O-H-
  12. I haven't seen this posted on the site, and I've seen some users try to find the Oregon Carbon Fiber pattern, so I thought I'd add to the board. Oregon uses this pattern primarily for helmet finish, but has also used the pattern on its wing decals (including the 2015 National Championship game). To match the this pattern to Oregon's Liquid Lightning/Thunder/Carbon helmets, play with the contrast/brightness, then adjust hue. Here's a link to a PNG version of the pattern: And here is an example of how it can be used with adjusted hue (and yes, this is another concept theme I have been working on as well):
  13. I think everyone is a little disappointed with what Oregon will wear on the biggest stage they have ever played on. The Diamond Quest uniform that they released lacks school colors and is very muted in comparison to some of the better uniform combinations they have worn recently. With Ohio State, the general consensus is that they are downright beautiful, but I think they can be sightly improved. Check out my proposal on how the CFP National Championship Game can be improved aesthetically... For Oregon, I drew inspiration from several different uniforms they have worn in the past 2-3 years. Feathers are prominent (look closely at the numbers!), apple green is a secondary color to yellow, and don't forget the duck logo on the arms! (I don't understand why this could not be a color vs. color game, it would look beautiful on the field). As for Ohio State, nothing much has changed, just a few edits to what they are currently wearing, which in my biased opinion is the sharpest look in all of college football. C&C always welcome, and Go Bucks!
  14. Not sure if this is the right spot to post this, but I have a hobby of making Florida State wallpapers for big events that come around & it has led to a pretty cool collection. Thought I'd share a little bit Here's my latest: Rose Bowl promo & Sugar Bowl promo: Feel free to use it wherever you like! 15. Over the weekend I had a lot fun doing some Oregon football mock-ups and I decided to share some of the best. My favorite has to be the redesign of the classic ducks uniforms.
  16. Figured now that I've finished up school for the year it would be a great time to get back into the concept game. This is a fairly similar idea to the concept I did for the old look, but keeps a few more elements of the new uniforms.
  17. So way back when I started compiling vintage college mascot logos I said I had a personal project for which I was using them. Today I unveil part of that project. Vinylmation If you've ever been to a Disney park then it is likely you've seen some vinylmations. They are a 3 or 9 inch vinyl figures, shaped like Mickey Mouse, that have a huge array of themes. From classic Disney characters to Star Wars to Indiana Jones and many others in between. There are even sports teams; NFL, NBA, MLB, and NCAA. However the NCAA versions are terribly generic and lack the personality for which many vinlylmations are popular. They also created a "Mascots" series of the main 4 Disney characters in vintage college gear. This is where I was inspired for these concepts. Vinlymations also have a large "custom" following. Artists take either blank or unpopular vinyls and re-work them into amazing pieces of art. I chose to get into this by painting NCAA Mascots onto the vinylmation canvas and I just finished my first series and put them up for sale. Below are images of them but first I'll post some pics of other vinyls as well as the "official NCAA series."
  18. I've been working on a new Nike template for the past couple of weeks and am even using an earlier version for chrisCLEMENT and my concept series. I have been able to get it fairly accurate thanks to a lot of pictures being posted for the Alamo Bowl. I decided to just test it out by doing a mock up of what Oregon is going to wear in their bowl game this year. The template is far from perfect at this point so it would be great if anybody has any suggestions or notices anything that needs to be fixed as more pictures are released. I'm sure I'll notice some things that need to be changed during the game as well.
  19. So we had Civil War cookies at work yesterday as a fun little treat prior to the Oregon-Oregon State game. Personally, I think a lot of people are rooting for the BEVS. To put some perspective on this, these cookies weren't home-made. They were professionally catered and served to over 400 employees.
  20. First off C&C is definitely welcomed! This is a series I currently just started. I noticed Oregon enjoys to pick one game a year to go white out, or STORMTROOPER, so I thought I'd carry that idea over to an NFL branding. FIRST THREE UP: 1. VIKINGS 2. STEELERS 3. EAGLES
