Hi everyone, For my latest project, I wanted to do address the overabundance of blue & red teams across Major League Baseball. For inspiration, I figured I'd look at the colors of other local teams to create some regional visual unity, similar to the way that all Pittsburgh teams use black and gold. Note that some teams will be using throwback colors of local teams, such as the first team below. We start today with the Texas Rangers in the San Antonio Spurs' fiesta colors. Thanks to @Victormrey for the suggestion! RANGERS HOME RANGERS ROAD RANGERS HOME ALT 1 RANGERS HOME ALT 2 RANGERS HOME ALT 3 RANGERS ROAD ALT C&C appreciated! Another team will be up soon.

While I'm pretty happy with how the Cubs City Connect uniforms turned out given how poorly the initial jersey leak was received, I still think it would have been interesting had the team gone with a solid green design to mimic the famous ivy on Wrigley's outfield walls. Let me know what you think!

For my next series, I was inspired by the NBA's new Mixtape uniform program which sees each team getting a new alternate that combines logos, colors and unique design elements from throughout their uniform history. I'll go division by division, starting with the AL West! LOS ANGELES ANGELS of ANAHEIM: The Angels design is a play on the Disney era Angels while adopting the logos and numbers of the '72-92 uniforms. HOUSTON ASTROS The Astros design combines the scripts and logos from Houston's 1980-93 uniforms with the 2000-12 team's pinstripes and black base and utilizes a new tequila sunrise-style trim. SEATTLE MARINERS: The M's set is based on the team's infamous Turn Ahead the Clock uniforms from 1998 while using logos and scripts from 1981-86. OAKLAND ATHLETICS: I thought it might be fun to bring back the monochrome A's unis from the early '70s but paint them black. TEXAS RANGERS: This one adopts the 1970s's Rangers colors and logo into a vest style design a la the 2004-08 team. (Fun fact, the Rangers actually wore a powder blue top with white pants for one game in 1975.) C&C appreciated! A National League division will be up next.

Now that MLB has announced that Dyersville, Iowa will once again host the Field of Dreams game in 2022, I got to wondering, if this becomes an annual tradition, will each of the 30 MLB teams eventually get a chance to participate in this special game? And if so, what would the teams who didn't even exist until decades later wear? This project seeks to answer that question. Expect lots of off-white uniforms, pinstriped caps and McAuliffe style numbers. There will be a mix of home and road uniforms, and for presentation's sake I'll also be including the teams that did exist in 1919 so you can see how my fauxback designs look alongside those real life ones. Rather than just post one team at a time, I'll go division by division. We start today with the NL West! SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS (1919): Loosely based on the New York Giants' 1919 road uniform but in the Giants' current colors and using the San Francisco Seals "SF" monogram which looks like it could have existed at this time. LOS ANGELES DODGERS (1919): Inspired by the 1919 Brooklyn Dodgers uniforms with L.A. on the front, somewhat evoking the 1907 New York Giants uniforms. SAN DIEGO PADRES (1919): Based on these 1936 Pacific Coast League Padres uniforms, replacing navy blue with their current brown. COLORADO ROCKIES (1919): This one is inspired by the Denver White Elephants, a Negro League team that existed from 1915-35. The jersey design is one I'm particularly proud of, replacing the white elephant from the original with a triceratops. PHOENIX DIAMONDBACKS (1919): Inspired by the Phoenix Senators, a minor league team that existed from 1915-1957. I really wanted to use the D-Backs' original purple and turquoise scheme, but that didn't feel very early 20th century so I instead opted for colors inspired by Arizona's City Connect uniform. C&C appreciated! Another division will be up soon.

Hey everyone, A while back I started a discussion in the General Sports Logos forum on which MLB teams could most use redesigns and new color schemes. It sparked the idea that a few teams with older/outdated designs could look to local college baseball teams for design inspiration. For this mini series, I'll be focusing on a small group of teams, maybe four or five. Let's start today with the Angels! ANGELS HOME: ANGELS ROAD: ANGELS HOME ALT: ANGELS HOME/ROAD ALT: For the Angels, I've used the Trojans of the University of Southern California as inspiration. The Halos adopt a deep crimson red and athletic gold scheme, a color combo I've long felt would work well for them. The cursive "Angels" script is a tweak of the original Lakers script from the early '60s. No unnecessary outlines or drop shadows. Just keep it simple. I've also brought back the early "CA" monogram. C&C appreciated! The Rangers are next.

Welcome, everybody, to this brand new series! I can't wait to get going on this thing, and I just think it's super cool y'all are checking this out. Since I first posted my very first few concepts on here on a few months ago, I feel I've learned a lot, and hopefully you all see that improvement as this series unfolds. I'll try my very best to keep updates daily. Below is the order in which I will be posting all 30 MLB teams: AL West - - Seattle Mariners (Ver. 2) - Oakland Athletics - Houston Astros (Houston Colt .45s) - Los Angeles Angels (Revamped Alts) - Texas Rangers NL West - - Los Angeles Dodgers - San Francisco Giants (San Francisco Seals) - Arizona Diamondbacks - San Diego Padres - Colorado Rockies AL Central - - Cleveland Indians - Kansas City Royals - Chicago White Sox - Detroit Tigers - Minnesota Twins NL Central - - Pittsburgh Pirates - Cincinnati Reds - St. Louis Cardinals - Milwaukee Brewers - Chicago Cubs AL East - - Boston Red Sox - New York Yankees - Baltimore Orioles - Tampa Bay Rays (Expos/Montreal rebrand) - Toronto Blue Jays NL East - - Philadelphia Phillies - New York Mets - Atlanta Braves - Washington Nationals (Senators rebrand) - Miami Marlins Each team will get four uniform options, including a home, road, and two alternate jerseys. For most teams, I will be avoiding adding throwbacks as their alts, but teams with classic looks like the Dodgers, Red Sox, and Yanks might end up with one as a fourth uniform option. some changes will be very small, others will be complete overhauls of team identities. And hopefully you'll like what I do to your favorite team's look. Anyway, that's enough talking. Let's get this thing started! As always, constructive criticism is encouraged. Enjoy!

I rebranded the Colorado Rockies due to their current boring, branding. - Updated the color scheme to more vibrant purple. - New primary logo with mountain and Colorado "c." - Used the Denver Nuggets miner logo to create a secondary mascot logo for the Rockies. I slightly edited it and updated its aesthetic. - New wordmark using a script font. - All new jerseys.
