  1. Hi everyone, For my latest project, I wanted to do address the overabundance of blue & red teams across Major League Baseball. For inspiration, I figured I'd look at the colors of other local teams to create some regional visual unity, similar to the way that all Pittsburgh teams use black and gold. Note that some teams will be using throwback colors of local teams, such as the first team below. We start today with the Texas Rangers in the San Antonio Spurs' fiesta colors. Thanks to @Victormrey for the suggestion! RANGERS HOME RANGERS ROAD RANGERS HOME ALT 1 RANGERS HOME ALT 2 RANGERS HOME ALT 3 RANGERS ROAD ALT C&C appreciated! Another team will be up soon.
  2. While watching highlights of the 2004 wild card game between Seattle and the rams, I noticed that I really like both uniform designs from that era. The colors are unique, the style is consistent, and no monochrome. I love the rams font as its not too reliant on a gimmick and the stripes on Seattle look great. The only thing a dont like is logo patches on the sleeves. Sure, their classic looks are much better, but these are darn good. They're two great uniform sets, during a bad era for NFL uniforms.
  3. I finally decided to post my Minnesota Vikings concept that I made in January. The concept is based on the idea that there is a home/away set, color rush, and a throwback alternate. I based the main set on the vikings current uniforms while also implementing the concept drawings by Hubenthal. I used the current Vikings font but without the serifs, added a white facemask, and tweaked the horn logo slightly. For the color rush uniform I decided to base it on the all white uniforms the vikings wore from 1969-1995 with the UCLA stripes. I based the alternate/throwback on the 1965 uniform set, where the numbers are outlined and the stocks dont have stripes.
  4. Since the Kraken just debuted their awesome new S logo and the Mariners already have one, let's see who can create the best S logo for the Seahawks to go along with them. Can just be for fun, but offering a bunch of free PSD mockup templates from my site to the best design as a prize. Link to Twitter post if you want to post your design there or just post in here. Really looking forward to seeing what the community comes up with! Hoping to get some good submissions and announce a winner after the weekend.
  5. Hello guys, I keep an Excel book for how I would design each team's colors and fonts (weird, I know). Every year, I try to make adjustments and I'm unsure which option for the Seahawks is the best one. I'd love to hear your thoughts...
  6. Watching the Seahawks in the playoffs this year, I've decided that I really like their color scheme. Even the neon green looks good in some applications. In particular, it was Pete Carroll's hoodie. And the way the colors work in light. But the logo itself doesn't work for me at all. It's bland and boring, and the gray and white blend together at distance. The original version of this logo was a lot better, with the second shade of blue. But when it was re-colored in 2012, I think they fumbled. Just not enough contrast. I got to thinking what the logo would look like with more green. Not necessarily one-color green, like Pete's jacket above, but just a little more. So I gave the lower stripe back its verdant beauty, and replaced the white for their silver/gray for good measure. Not an earth-shattering change, but to my eye, this works a lot better, and fits better with their history to boot. Your thoughts?
  7. Which logo do you prefer? The classic 1976 logo or the more modern and updated logo from the 2000s-present?
  8. Hello all! I've been a pretty busy commentator here on the boards, but I've never done an actual concept series. I started one, but I was ill prepared to continue it. Now here I am with a concept series that we've kind of seen before. Much like the Bowl Game Wallpapers from Forbes, here is an NFL Playoff series of wallpapers starting wiht the AFC and NFC Wildcard Rounds. The concept is pretty simple, helmets facing each other, on a colored background of the team colors. The goal was to use three team colors if possible, but with the Packers and Giants and such, I had to use only two. C&C much appreciated as always, let's go ahead and get to it.
  9. I'm a few weeks late to the party but oh well, at least I showed up. Anyways, I like the idea behind the Color Rush games, but think the exection is a few pennies short of a dollar. So basically, I'll take a matchup and make it look all colorful. I'm staying in the lines on this one, meaning I'm working within the Color Rush rules, which unfortunately means I have to obey the one helmet rule. Except the one difference is that regardless of design, every team will be on the Vapor Untouchable template. So starting with the first CR game: Jets vs Bills: So this matchup last year was my personal favorite of the CR games, except for the fact that the colorblind community had a tough time with it. -all blue for the bills, nothing too new except the facemask is blue -jets go all kelly green (the better of the greens) with the striped socks. Don't like blue or green, I have a solution : So we go red vs white. Kind of defeats the idea of "color" rush but we saw what Red vs Green did... -same thing for the bills with a red facemask -also same for the jets, with the white facemask and striped socks. C & C on these, and Houston/New England will be up next.
  10. I posted this Seahawks Color Rush concept on my iFunny account and Instagram account and somehow it has an alarming amount of support (nicknamed it the "Green Goblin"). So I'm trying it on here, not expecting much because I don't get much of anything other than negative criticism instead of constructive.
  11. I decided to try 4 NFL Color Rush Uniforms. Let me know what you think. This was done rather quickly, so expect some errors.
  12. I don't know if this is the right place(so feel to move it to the proper section) but there's these cool edits of Jarran Reed and A'Shawn Robinson in their new uniforms and I would like to know who did them and see if it was done to some of the rookies. It was posted on their Instagram. It's called 'Process Realized-Chicago' (or something like that) edit: here is a'shawn's Here is jaran's
  13. The Super Bowl is upon us yet again, in its 49th rendition. The Seahawks are back for another helping, looking for a second world championship in a row. The Pats are back for their 6th run since the turn of the century. Most people aren't fans of the game design-wise however. The Patriots have a fairly dated look, with lots of excessive piping. Their are some good components to their uniforms, however. The helmet stays mostly untouched, as do the pants. The shoulder striping is inspired by the look of the Boston Patriots of the AFL, and the NE Patriots of the 1970s-1990s. The new number font is used to match the new wordmark. On the inside of the collar is "Hang together". This is taken from the quote from Benjamin Franklin: "We must hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately." The undershirt is inspired by the uniform of a colonial American patriot's uniform. The three stars represent Super Bowl titles. Without further ado, the newly designed New England Patriots: Inspiration: The Seahawks uniforms were overhauled when Nike received the NFL contract. It's safe to say they own monochrome, so I stuck with that look for them. The stiping is heavily based off of the uniforms of the 80s and 90s, and the most recent stiping pattern. The twelve dashes on the front represent that 12th man thing they love so much, also represented on the pants. "12" is written in the inside collar and on the undershirt. Helmet remains basically the same, with the subtraction of those weird stripe-things and the joining of the Seahawk is a tad bit different. Inspiration: As an extra bonus here's what I believe the field will look like: Enjoy the game! Expect me back for a NBA All-Star game redesign soon!
  14. Nothing too exciting with this post, but I've put together what Super Bowl 49 should now look like. The only thing I've really changed is the logo of the game itself. I've used some concept art as a base but made some alterations. The logo is in the shape of Arizona, I've added purple as an accent color, and if you look closely at the logo, there are stripes representing Arizona's Flag. Hope you enjoy. (Both uniforms courtesy of this very website)
  15. For some reason Imgur isn't working right now so I'm going to link this on Photo Bucket. It's a mix of the mid 2000s greyish blue with the current navy, neon, and grey. It's a block number font. This is my first ever time making on a concept on Photoshop so I do apologize for the bad quality. Any tips are helpful whether for the concept or my photoshop skills (for example I don't know why it's so blurry and bad quality). UPDATE: UPDATE 2: Away Concept
  16. I really liked the old full body logo that the Seahawks used to use, but it was a little too detailed for them to use much. so heres an simplified update of the logo that I made that uses the new color scheme.

    Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks All the talk over in the 2013 NFL uniforms about the Seahawks inspired me to come up with a quick little helmet concept of my own. I used the current green and a slightly darker shade of blue than they used with their last set and recolored the logo. The helmet shell is a silver-blue color. I envisioned it as a metallic finish or a finish along the likes of the New York Giants. I'm curious to know what everyone thinks of the color scheme and I would love to hear any suggestion and comments anyone might have. Thanks.
  18. I decided to redesign the Seahawks uniforms seeing as how a great population of football lovers hate the current designs. I will be posting another design later using their current logo, but first I will post it with the logo I designed for the seahawks. I really like the accenting that Seattle has going on with the Lime Greenish color. So I kept that, but I brought back the old silver helmet style and changed the blue to a brighter navy/ dark royal look. Uploaded with

    NFL Courts

In this thread, ill be posting what i think NFL teams courts would look like if they were in the NBA. First one Seahawks- I love this pattern lol
  20. Basically blending old (silver helmet and sleeve logo) with new (new logo chest stripe and wing pattern thingie) the silver helmet of old is now matte grey to match the new nike matte style pants. Changed the twelve pattern things on each leg to sox so that each set of pants has 12 rather than 24. All the pants can be worn with all the jerseys. Let me know what you think
  21. I've made this Steelers concept a few months back, but I never got around to posting it. I recently made the Seahawks and Cowboys to go along with it. STEELERS With the Steelers, I really didn't change much. I simplified the shoulder stripe and added a wordmark to the chest. The helmet is matte, and the yellow stripe has a steel pattern in it. Home- Away- ALT- Helmet - SEAHAWKS For the Seahawks, I went with a Seahawks stripe down the shoulder. It isn't clearly illustarted, but it's meant to look MSU/ Texas A&M like. The logo is the same, except for green replacing the gray. Logo- Home- Away- ALT - Helmet- COWBOYS For the Cowboys, I went with a traditional look. I originally planned to have a beveled star, but it didn't look right and I just went with a plain star. The ALT or "Throwback" in this set would be the current road unis. Logo- Blue- White-
  22. Here is a recoloured Seattle Seahawks logo I made a while ago. It's the current logo design recoloured to look like the orginal logo, and with a grey outline. I'd just like to hear what you all think of this look. I personally love it.
