  1. I was inspired initially by the NCFA and later “The History of a Fictional Football League” by @Veras. I really wanted to bring this back and do more regarding it. I started this concept on here in 2013 and never completed it. I’ve came up with numerous ideas, past and present, and this by far is my favorite. The original logo was a dingbat, and was outlined and shaded by a member on this site back when you could make request (Can’t remember the person’s username). I’ll only be doing identities for the 3 main sports; Basketball, Football, and Baseball. "History" Charleston Harbor State University was co-founded by Charles Hallandale and former Governor Barnabas Kelet Hanagan. Hallandale assumed role as advisor Lieutenant Governor to Barnabas Kelet Hanagan when Hanagan became Governor due to the death of Patrick Noble on April 7, 1840. Hallandale, a Yale graduate, was a prominent lawyer in the area prior being appointed to the Lieutenant Governor position. Hanagan's term as governor lasted less than a year. The following year, Hallandale, with the help of Hanagan laid the groundwork on what would become Charleston Harbor State University. Hanagan would return to public service in 1844 when he was reelected to the state Senate he’d serve as Secretary of State from 1846 to 1850. Hallandale would remain Chancellor. Located off the Charleston Harbor, the name "Stevedores" was adopted in homage to the hardworking individuals working the harbor docks. Founded 1841 Colonial Blue and Red are reflective of the Revolutionary War (Red and Blue Coats). Ocean Blue is connected to the Charleston Harbor, and the rarely used "Hunley Rust" was adopted in 1996, a year after the Civil War submarine was found in the harbor. 1st posted sport will be basketball...
  2. Does each state have one? They're the wordmarks that are on the commercials and brochures for states. Which is best? Worst? Most intriguing? Here are a few to start us off:
  3. The concept is basically this: SEC Baseball uniforms as an SEC Football Uniform. First up, Ole Miss: Just for fun.
  4. So I've been working on redesigning a lot of college football team's uniforms and, since this weekend is when tOSU reveals their all black uniforms against Penn State, I've decided to go ahead and present my version of what they should have created. The majority of us hate them and feel as if we could have done a lot better job of modernizing their uniform while keeping their historic and legendary feel. I chose to stick with their traditional layout as well as keeping their modern helmets and pants. This way, although they won't be wearing their famous scarlet red or white tops, they can still be easily identifiable as the Ohio State Buckeyes. Click for a detailed view
  5. This is my Oregon State football concept uniform because I am not really a fan of there ones right now. Please leave feedback.
  6. I traced up the new FSU spear and pattern for anybody who's looking to make some concepts with them. I can send the vector file to anybody who would like it as well, just shoot me a PM with your email address.
  7. A lot of people were asking for this number font a while back so I decided to take a shot at it. For whatever reason the 1 changed after the first game they played in the Rivalry uniforms so I've included both versions.
  8. saws this on Twitter just now by @PhilHecken "@PhilHecken: RT @Maida904 Looks like FSU's new (tweaked) logo may have leaked on a department store t-shirt." follow Phil for great new on everything sports logos and uniforms. If this is their new logo, thank God. I love it, its a nice modern update, and keeps the logo with it's history. I know many of you may think FSU should just keep their logo, and that's your opinion. Not a bad one, i just think it looks good with the update. And also, this may not be the updated logo,as it is from a department store, so it could just be the brand's recreation of the logo to get away with not using FSU's actual logo. But if it is, someone hire whoever made it!
  9. This is my first concept. As an OSU Fan, i have always wanted to see all Black, all gray and all white uniforms. So along with a Home set i made just that. They are based off of the 2002 Design with a modern twist. The Grey helmet is supposed to be Chrome, with the black being a Matte Black. The Red on the stripe is also chromish, kind of like the rivalry uniforms. I also based the colors of the numbers off the rivalry unis. Let me know what you think. Home Away Alt 1 (Blackout) Alt 2 (Gray)
