In this series, I am going to tweak or redesign all 90 teams throughout the MLB, AAA, and AA. For the most part I want to maintain every team's color and identity but may change a few. There are only a few guidlines in this series. 1. Every team will have a white home and grey away with or without alternates 2.Minor league teams will use hand-me-down batting practice uniforms 3. Teams can mix and match hats and jerseys Arizona Diamondbacks Reno Aces Jackson Generals Atlanta Braves Gwinnett Braves Mississippi Braves Baltimore Orioles Norfolk Tides Bowie Baysox Boston Red Sox Pawtucket Red Sox Portland Sea Dogs Chicago Cubs Iowa Cubs Tennessee Smokies Chicago White Sox Charlotte Knights Birmingham Barons Cincinnati Reds Louisville Bats Pensacola Blue Wahoos Cleveland Indians Columbus Clippers Akron Rubberducks Colorado Rockies Albuquerque Isotopes Hartford Yard Goats Detroit Tigers (*BONUS*)(Final) Toledo Mud Hens Erie SeaWolves Houston Astros Fresno Grizzlies Corpus Christi Hooks Kansas City Royals Omaha Storm Chasers Northwest Arkansas Naturals Anaheim Angels Salt Lake Bees Mobile BayBears Los Angeles Dodgers First up is the Arizona Diamondbacks organization. Their new re-brand was a little off target so I kept a single color scheme the sedona red and sand, because in my opinion, it is stronger than their purple, teal, copper, and black. I returned them to a little more traditional uniform using the old snake pattern they used in their purple days. I like their new darker grey but it looks too dark on the field so I lightened it a bit Snake logo is used on the sleeve. I made my own BP template so it uses the snake d and has contrasting sleeves as you will see throughout this series. I'll post their AAA affiliate the Reno Aces after comments on the Diamondbacks.
In 2015, many MLB teams changed affiliation with one another with their respective AAA teams. These changes were peculiar because the realignments forced teams to have a Triple-A team further than their previous. This should never be the case, as many roster changes on the daily happen between AAA and the MLB. It should be convenient for teams calling up or sending down a player. That way they can be there by whenever the next game is. This is my proposed realignment for 2016: Anaheim Angels - Las Vegas 51s Los Angeles Dodgers - Fresno Grizzlies San Diego Padres - El Paso Chihuahuas (no change) San Francisco Giants - Sacramento River Cats (no change) Oakland Athletics - Reno Aces Seattle Mariners - Tacoma Rainiers (no change) Arizona Diamondbacks - Albuquerque Isotopes Colorado Rockies - Salt Lake Bees Minnesota Twins - Colorado Springs Sky Sox Texas Rangers - Oklahoma City Redhawks (changing the name back after the Dodgers leave affiliation) Houston Astros - Round Rock Express Kansas City Royals - Omaha Storm Chasers (no change) St. Louis Cardinals - Memphis Redbirds (no change) Chicago Cubs - Iowa Cubs (no change) Tampa Bay Rays - New Orleans Zephyrs Cincinnati Reds - Nashville Sounds Milwaukee Brewers - Indianapolis Indians Detroit Tigers - Toledo Mud Hens (no change) Cleveland Indians - Columbus Clippers (no change) Chicago White Sox - Louisville Bats Atlanta Braves - Gwinnett Braves (no change) Miami Marlins - Charlotte Knights Washington Nationals - Durham Bulls Baltimore Orioles - Norfolk Tides (no change) New York Yankees - Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (no change) New York Mets - Syracuse Chiefs Philadelphia Phillies - Lehigh Valley IronPigs (no change) Pittsburgh Pirates - Rochester Red Wings Boston Red Sox - Pawtucket Red Sox (no change) Toronto Blue Jays - Buffalo Bisons (no change) I apologize for being out of order. Comment if you have something better in mind.
My world has unfortunately been very hurt. I am a Coloradoan born and raised. I grew up in the springs. And I am raised to be a Rocky. All 20 years of my life, yes I know I am still very young, the Rockies right hand man was the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. Unfortunately the Rockies stabbed us Springers in the back by affiliating with the Albequerque Isotopes simply because they have a better stadium. Anyways, it got me thinking about how the Isotopes had a blue alternate uniform made that was supposed to emulate the LA Dodgers. So I threw together two ideas for hats. One for the Isotopes which is based on the Rockies and one for the Sky Sox to be based off of their new parent team, the Milwaukee Brewers. (And yes I know I left the MILB logo off the back) I will try to do ideas for other teams who have now changed affiliations.
