  1. Time to start a new thread for the upcoming new season of footy. We can kick things off with the announcement of Premier League fixtures for the season: Also worth noting that Premier League teams are getting a midseason break in February, albeit a short one. From
  2. I haven't seen a 2018/19 thread, but I have seen 2018/19 kits. So I figured I'd start. Chelsea: PSG: Tottenham clash:
  3. I've been playing around with the PES kit creator and thought I'd share some of the designs that I'd like to see teams wearing next season. If there is a team you'd like me to come up with a design for, feel free to make a request. I'll start off with my favourite team: Bayern Munich. For the home kit, I wanted to go with a classic feel, I was mostly inspired by their red and white striped kit from 2010, which was a throwback to the early 1970's. Main Alt For the away, I wanted a classy looking white and red kit. I added the checker pattern as an homage to Bavaria. And with the third, I went with an intimidating black and red look. With the option for white shorts and/or socks in case of a kit clash.
  4. Here are my designs for the 18 teams competing in the German Bundesliga in the 2016/2017 season. Each team has three kits, C&C is welcomed. FYI the bundesliga patches are only on the left sleeve which is what is normal for the league teams are allowed to sell the other sleeve space for advertising and therefore each team could be different and they haven't been seen yet so I left the right sleeve blank. Hope y'all enjoy, I am looking for a lot of feedback, I will try to explain my designs to the best of my ability so its clear the direction I intended. I will be posting in alphabetical order.
  5. The 2016/17 season is almost upon us, thought I'd make this thread now. Mods, feel free to lock this thread until the major international tournaments (e.g. Euro 2016 and Copa America) are finished.
  6. After a few days of rest, I'm back after my MLS series to present my next soccer concept for the German Bundesliga. My first set is for FC Augsburg, with their kits manufactured by Nike. Home:
  7. So, I meant to post this a lot sooner but I have been in the middle of a move, just got back to my computer. Here are my redesigns for both MLS and the bundesliga, with the new raysox template. I'll start off with the MLS and then bundesliga, currently I am working on moving the budesliga into the new template. Please feel free to leave feedback and C&C. For MLS, I am including teams not yet in the league: atlanta, minnesota, lafc, and miami. I'll be including the newly promoted teams in the bundesliga as well. I'll post designs in alphabetical order. First up is Atlanta, gave them the name of AFC Rise. (Atlanta Football Club Rise), going with the rise/phoenix/burning of Atlanta theme that seems to be so popular. I gave them Coke as the sponsor, the atlanta soda giant is probably a good sponsor and the red colors go together. Home kit- two tone red kit, dark red sleeves, and shorts, red torso an socks. dark red stripe gradient, and yellow and white accents Away kit- all white kit with red and yellow accents and thin red horizontal stripes Third kit- Peach kit, peach color torso, and socks, with navy blue shorts and sleeves
  8. So I thought I would take on the deed of starting the 2014/15 Football Thread, like Kramerica Industries did for 2013/14. This will be a place to talk about transfers, all news and matches from domestics leagues from Brazil and Argentina to the A-League with stops in Europe, title chases, backroom dealings, big football stories that makes all the national papers and small football stories alike that only make the local airwaves, UEFA Champions League and Europa League competitions as well as international friendlies and EURO 2016 qualifying that starts in August/September. This is our thread to talk about everything domestic and international football for the 2014/15 season. I know the World Cup is still going on with the Semifinals going tomorrow and Wednesday. But action is already heating up in the transfer market. Big news is RB Mathieu Debuchy completed his medical with Arsenal today and is expected to sign for the Gunners for 8m GBP later this week from Newcastle. As well, Arsenal are prepared to throw Joel Campbell into the deal to sweeten the pot. As well, Barcelona has accepted a €40m offer from Arsenal for Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez with talks progressing throughout the coming days this week. Arsenal are in a competition to sign the Chilean ahead of Liverpool, Manchester United, and Juventus. The timing is right for Barcelona as they have made a €88m bid for Luis Suarez due to his buy-out clause from Liverpool comes into affect at that price. But reports from Mundo Deportivo state that Barcelona will have to pay €94.6m for his release clause to be activated Other dealings and rumors: 1. Arsenal are readying a bid for Greece and Olympiakos defender Kostas Manolas as they prepare for the loss of club captain Thomas Vermaelen. The Belgian is expected to head to Old Trafford and Manolas will cost the Gunners €10 million. (Daily Mail) 2. Manchester United will take advantage of boardroom uncertainty at Valencia to hijack their proposed deal for Benfica and Argentina midfielder Enzo Perez. The winger has a €25 million buyout clause. (O Jogo) 3. Stoke City have emerged as surprise candidates to sign Brazilian legend Ronaldinho. The 34-year-old currently plays for Atletico Mineiro. (Metro) 4. Ex Blackpool winger Tom Ince was signed on a 2-year deal with Hull City. This is the third signing for Hull City with the Tigers already signing Jake Livermore and Robert Snodgrass from Tottenham and Norwich respectively. (BBC Sport) 5. Liverpool have agreed on a deal with Lille for Belgium striker Divock Origi and are in advanced talks to sign Serbia winger Lazar Markovic from Benfica, both to expected to cost 35m GBP (BBC Sport). 6. Arsene Wenger’s ambition to strengthen the core of his Arsenal team looks to have taken another turn, with reports suggesting that the Gunners have reinstated Bayer Leverkusen’s Lars Bender as the man they want to bolster the centre of midfield ahead of Sami Khedira (Bleacher Report and The Telegraph).
  9. Hi, I had very few free time at work recently so this project has took me ages to get completed. Not much to say, this is my view of the way adidas should go in the next few years: shortest three stripes just on the shoulders (no sleeves), maybe with a tone on tone color scheme. Tweaked some crests and sponsors too. Watch it here Thanks & enjoy!
  10. So, after my successfully done Series for the MLS I started to work on another 2020 series for the German Bundesliga. My goal is it again to create unique identities for the clubs without destroying their tradition. I chose 18 clubs for my 2020 league which could be realistic (with relegation rules etc.). But I also chose them a bit with my own sympathy and also the club colours played a role. So, first of all I created an updated identity for the league itself. I don't really like the red and black of the current presentation of the Bundesliga. So I went with a more modern and fresh simple black and white logo! This logo will be on both arms of the kits, like in the Premier League. I will also post a Map, so you will actually know where the clubs are located in my country and I'm also going to give you a few basic informations about the club. So lets start!
  11. Welcome to the World Football Champions League 2014. I wanted to branch out beyond doing a concept for the Chicago Fire third jersey contest back in Aug./Sept. 2013, nor did I want to just pick popular club teams worldwide. So, I took all the World Cup qualifiers, selected the top two clubs from each country (as of Jan. 29) and pit them against each other in brackets, a la March Madness. The winners were selected differently per round (coin flip, winning percentage, alphabetical) so I could keep out any personal bias.* I have the two finalists ready to go, complete with home, away and third jerseys. I will continue to post concepts for each team, working backward from the championship game, until I get all 64 teams completed. Final Four FC Bayern München (Germany) - ChampionDeportivo Toluca FC (Mexico) - Runner-upAFC Ajax (Netherlands)Manchester City FC (England)C&C on the kits and/or the logo above are always welcome, if not encouraged. * I will admit to one bias: I included the Chicago Fire instead of Real Salt Lake, but that was less about loyalty and more because I already have the third jersey completed for Chicago. Apologies to any die-hard RSL fans.
