  1. After making court concepts of all the NCAA D1 schools, I decided to do the NBA G League (formerly NBA D-League) next. Obviously many of these designs couldn't currently be used due to NBAGL teams sharing arenas/courts with other teams but it's still fun to design them. I didn't get as creative as I did with the NCAA courts because the NBA/NBAGL are still generally more traditional with their designs and I still want the concepts to be realistic. I used DarthBrooks court template. I will post them in groups of 5 (except for the last group which will be 6). A few things you might notice... The more unique logos the team has the more I tried to incorporate them into the court. Many of the courts are similar to their parent team's court. I added the team's parent team logo to the upper left and lower right corners. I didn't include websites, twitter handles, hashtags, etc. on the out-of-bounds area. 2. The Chicago Bulls announced today that the team has been granted the right to own and operate an NBA D-League club that will begin play in the 2016-17 season. The new team will play its home games at Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, IL. The team is running a "Name-The-Team" contest, with an interesting caveat– all team name suggestions must end in “Bulls”.
  3. You know what, it's been a while since I did any basketball. Got what I think is a pretty good Pistons idea I've been sitting on for a while...but you won't see it tonight. Instead, here goes a tribute to two iconic unis at the same damn time...Pacers This one's the debut of my new hoops template, which is based on the one used for the mothership's NBA uniforms. And as mentioned, I wanted to mix the Flojo unis of the early 90s with the late 90s/early 2000s pinstripes, and I'd also seen the old Indiana State hoops unis enough times to want to create a script inspired by it. Thus, an italicized Indiana map, along with lowercase letters cobbled together from the little "Pacers" under the main logo. EDIT: With that thread about logos that have run their course on my mind, I figured the old Shaq lyric had run its course, so I figured it was time to rename the thread. An homage to my grandma's favorite little point guard.
