  1. I did some remixes of old jerseys with the modern teams' brand/colors along with the nike template. Would any of these make a good redesign? Let's start with the Bucks: Here's a more boring one with the Bulls:
  2. New Orlean's current uni set is a bit bland for a city with such a vibrant cultural and architectural history. The primary set features the city’s iconic wrought iron work down the side of the jerseys and shorts. "New Orleans" is shortened to "NOLA" on the navy and white uniforms. This set drops the awful, in my opinion contrasting collar. Association Icon Statement
  3. 2021 brings a new home kit for Atlanta United. I know gradients/fades are gimmicky and don't hold up well over time, but I don't hate it in this context for some reason. I'm at least hoping Atlanta goes back to the 5 stripes aesthetic that they're originally known for. I also hope they do something special for their 5th anniversary playing in ATL to make this edition more fun and collectible.
  4. Since Nike is going to be the new jersey supplier for the NBA I made some concepts to show my take on the new jerseys. I used the USA olympic jersey featuring a nike vapor jersey and made my own mockup on it, to get the realistic stitching details on the numbers and logo I used a photoshop action called realistic stitching action to make it look realistic as possible. I hope you guys enjoy! Half way done the other half of the NBA will be uploaded as soon as possible. Feedback would be helpful!!
  5. I redesigned the Habs logo for an alternate jersey and instead of doing something based on their historic jerseys I decided to go super modern. The crest has 3 main parts. The very center is a Fleur De Lis in honor of their home province of Quebec (at the risk of drawing too much of a comparison to the Nordiques). I made it the center of an M for Montréal with the two “wings” on either side. I also separated the top part of the Fleur De Lis to make it the flame of a torch made from the bottom part, referencing the team motto “Nos bras meurtris vous tendent le flambeau, à vous toujours de le porter bien haut.” Or in English “To you from failing hands we throw the torch, be yours to hold it high.” The team’s hanger effect on their current jersey is the first part of that line, so I added the second part as this jersey’s hanger effect, completing the line of the poem and creating some vague symbolism of the classic jerseys passing the torch to this modern take. The chest and arm stripes were made thinner and modernized with the removal of the bottom white stripe and the addition of 24 ghosted Fleur De Lis on the chest, obviously representing the 24 cups they have won. I tried this jersey in blue at first, with the thought that there would then be a jersey in their arsenal for each color, “Bleu, Blanc, et Rouge”, but it kept looking either too much like a Rangers jersey or a Leafs jersey so I abandoned that idea and stuck with red. I know I will be labeled a heretic for messing with the Canadiens crest, but I thought it was a cool way to modernize the look of the oldest team in the league. Please C+C. Thanks in advance.
  6. I rebranded the Colorado Rockies due to their current boring, branding. - Updated the color scheme to more vibrant purple. - New primary logo with mountain and Colorado "c." - Used the Denver Nuggets miner logo to create a secondary mascot logo for the Rockies. I slightly edited it and updated its aesthetic. - New wordmark using a script font. - All new jerseys.
  7. For the 2020 MLB season, I decided to create some Nike MLB jersey concepts for Players' Weekend using the new Nike Baseball Jersey template. I wanted to create something unique with these jerseys. I used a lot of alternate colors and alternate logos on the jerseys, and made fauxbacks for some teams as well. If you are wondering why the Mets are black and pink, it is because when they were formed they were supposed to be black and pink. I'm not entirely happy with the Rockies, Rays, and Astros. For the Rockies I didn't really have any ideas for, while the Astros and Rays jerseys didn't come out as well as I thought they would. Thanks for viewing.
  8. I decided to do a Nike MLB Uniform Refresh, some teams will get total rebrands, some will have altered colors, some will have new alternates, or get new throwbacks. Visit my Behance to see my other sports designs: https://www.behance.net/ianrasovsky For the diamondbacks, I updated the home and away uniforms by replacing the sand accents with teal, solidifying teal as their new tertiary color. I also added their purple alternate from 1998 on the new Nike MLB teamplate. I also created a new home cap, that replaced the sand in the diamonbacks's "A" logo.
  9. Welcome to 1stRound DraftPick’s Super Jersey Collection! In this thread, we’ll find out what every MLB team would look like if they kept ALL of their jerseys, and simply updated them. As a result, each team would have a plethora of uniforms to choose from for their 162 game schedules. I have a few rules for deciding which jersey to use/update. - Each team is limited to TWELVE (12) main rotation jerseys. Yes. Twelve. - Really old jerseys must be updated in some capacity. However, there are a few exceptions. - Jerseys that look too similar to a previous incarnation must be considered updates. Therefore, they cannot co-exist. - Teams can use jerseys from a previous iteration of their franchise, or from another franchise with the same name. For example, the current Milwaukee Brewers can use updated versions of the uniforms worn by the old Milwaukee Brewers that existed from 1894-1901, despite them being separate franchises. - New jerseys can also be added. Alright, with that out of the way….let’s get this started! Here’s a quick link to each team’s jersey collection: AL EAST Baltimore Orioles Boston Red Sox New York Yankees Tampa Bay Rays Toronto Blue Jays AL CENTRAL Chicago White Sox Cleveland Indians Detroit Tigers Kansas City Royals Minnesota Twins AL WEST Houston Astros Los Angeles Angels Oakland Athletics Seattle Mariners Texas Rangers NL EAST Atlanta Braves Miami Marlins New York Mets Philadelphia Phillies Washington Nationals NL CENTRAL Chicago Cubs Cincinnati Reds Milwaukee Brewers Pittsburgh Pirates St. Louis Cardinals NL WEST Arizona Diamondbacks Colorado Rockies Los Angeles Dodgers San Diego Padres San Francisco Giants
  10. Hello All As many of you are well aware, Adidas releases postseason jerseys for some of their teams to wear in tournaments. Nike does not do this, so I decided to try my hand at this idea. I have 12 teams that I will be doing jerseys for, and if those turn out well, I may take some requests for teams from the NCAA tournament. Without further ado, here are the first two sets, North Carolina and Butler. NORTH CAROLINA: For the Tar Heels, I've always thought that navy blue would be better than black. So here it is. A navy jersey with their Carolina blue as the accent color. Argyle pattern remains on the shorts, and the word mark is a baseball word mark that I thought worked well for these jerseys. BUTLER: For the Bulldogs, I focused on the aspect that they are Indianapolis' big team. The Indy skyline appears on the jersey, and the flag of the city is the shorts design. Hope you all like these, and of course C&C is appreciated! Thanks for looking.
  11. Hey guys, EJaws here. Im deciding to start a Minnesota High School hockey redesign. Ill be starting with the Metro East conference and we will go from there! LETS MEET THE TEAMS/PLAY HOCKEY! Hastings Raiders [Royal Blue & Gold] Henry Sibley Warriors [Red & Las Vegas Gold?] Hill Murray Pioneers [Green & Black] Mahtomedi Zephyrs [Navy & Gold] North St Paul Polars [ Red & White] Simley Spartans [Blue & Red] South St Paul Packers [Maroon & White] St. Thomas Academy Cadets [Blue & White] Tartan Titans [Black & Blue] To Begin this project i started with remaking the Conference logo. I decide i needed to remake it when the only image I could find was 90x79. I really like the way this logo was going, so I tried to clean it up a bit. OLD LOGO-> NEW LOGO-> CC is appreciated
  12. Has anyone seen this before. BTW, this is one of my favorite TV preachers whose church is in Chicago and grew up in Canada.https://1drv.ms/u/s!Av7Z8KsJmndYmkr67J0JV6nbyzik
  13. I recently had an idea for an alternate Braves road uniform. It falls more in line the Atlanta's ivory home alternate throwback. I think it's got the classic, simple aesthetic with the more modern "ATL" moniker.
  14. Hey all! Decided to do a fun jersey series during this NBA offseason. These fun alternate jerseys I will be making will all reflect the team name and team name only, as you will see, quite literally. I will be moving down in order of division in each conference and in order of city name in each division. I will kick this series off with these three teams: Boston Celtics: The same look as the Celtics' mascot Brooklyn Nets: Quite literally the weaving of a basketball net. New York Knicks: Since many of you may not know what a Knick is, its short for Knickerbocker, which is an older term for a New Yorker. Thus, the retro vest and tie top and brown pants. More will be coming soon if y'all like this series idea! Template credit to therealpepman
  15. I've been lurking here for a while, and I finally decided to post something of my own. I'm only just starting out, so c&c is greatly appreciated. I will try to get through every team in the MLS, home and away, but I might go back and add some third jerseys if it goes well. Teams: Atlanta United FC - Updated Chicago Fire Columbus Crew SC D.C. United - Updated Montreal Impact - Updated New England Revolution - Updated New York City FC New York Red Bulls Orlando City SC - Updated Philadelphia Union Toronto FC Colorado Rapids FC Dallas Houston Dynamo LA Galaxy - Updated Minnesota United FC Portland Timbers Real Salt Lake San Jose Earthquakes Seattle Sounders FC - Updated Sporting Kansas City Vancouver Whitecaps FC - Updated
  16. So I was looking at some NFL uniforms today, and the idea popped in my head, what if the NFL allowed teams to put ads on their uniforms. This could be a very real possiblitily in the near future, so I decided to whip up a quick concept of it potentially. This post is not my best work, I just wanted to get the idea across to everyone. For this I went very Boston by putting Dunkin' Donuts on the Patriots home uniform. Tell me your thoughts down below, and if you would like me to do this for any other teams. Thanks. The Vision: I wanted to see what an NFL uniform would look like with an ad on it. Quote: "Ads can produce a large amount of income, but is it worth it to hurt your identity potentially?" -Kong Tom
  17. These are the uniforms that should have been unveiled today to say the least.. HOME Quote "These are your identity. These show what you want to represent yourself as".- Kong Tom Home: I wanted these to look fierce, tough, and sleek. Give feedback on how they look. Thanks ALTERNATE Quote: "Show your 2nd side" - Kong Tom Alternate: I wanted to show the precision of football. The between the lines, tackling, and methodicalness. Which one do you like better? Honest feedback is always appreciated.
  18. Atlanta United is rumored to be doing away with their inaugural away kits, which is a good thing in my view as they were pretty boring. I love their red and black striped kit, and wanted to keep the "5 Stripes" in my concept kit as well. It's an all black idea, so I thought it may work better as a 3rd kit rather than their main away kit. I may attempt an away kit as well on this thread in the future.
  19. Hey all, this is my first post on this forum in over 2 years. I'm working on a class assignment that asks us to create a brand that appeals to all generations. I decided to pick Denver because if you ever go to (I'm forever calling it) Mile High Stadium, you'll notice there is an internal fan base battle over the new navy and orange color scheme versus the traditional blue and orange from the OG Elway days. I just took some screenshots of the concepts and logo I have created so far because I'm really looking for some C&C on the next steps before I fully turn this into a presentable concept and project. So before I can waste anymore of your time.. Here is my idea. Blend both the Navy and traditional blue into a color scheme that works, evolve the new bronco head with the very famous "D" that has previously been introduced in their most recent Color Rush, and throw in some millennial sprinkles like a mountain and red rocks shadows in the numbering to give everyone a little taste of what they want the Broncos to look like. Again, C&C is very much appreciated! This would be the Broncos Alternate and "Color Rush" The Blue Color Rush and Alternate jersey's should design would be based off the City of Denver Flag. I removed the Sun from the jersey because of Nike's swoosh placement in the NFL. Up Close rough mockup featuring Nike's now famous sublimation pattern of Red Rocks Amphitheater.
  20. Okay so I am posting for the first time in about 7 months... back when i used to use paint to make concept jerseys.... I have gotten better at designing and I decided to put my skills to use on my favorite basketball team, the Oklahoma City Thunder. Unlike many, I have always loved the Thunder's colorway and most of their uniform sets. Especially the away uniform. Anyway, I always felt like there could be a little bit of flare added to their uniforms. The designs I created take inspiration from the current Nike sets that they have right now as well as looking past to retro 90s uniforms. Take a look. The uniforms go as followed: White Association uniform, blue Icon uniform, Sunset uniform, and Thunderstorm city uniform
  21. http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/rate-the-2018-worldtour-team-jerseys-poll/ Any cycling fans here? How would you rate the jerseys for next season. Vote there, but share your insight here.
  22. Was this uniform made for the photo shoot or was it worn in a game. If it was worn in a game can i please have pictures to prove EDIT: on a nike thread from 2009 it said it was a swingman jersey. Note the swoosh on the jersey. (possibly gonna be worn this year?)
  23. What software does one need to go about making a concept for, say, an NBA team?
  24. I've prepared some NHL concepts where I try and refresh team branding and uniforms. I'm trying to make the rest of the league fall more in line with what I've come to expect from Adidas. All teams get *some* sort of change from their current (Reebok) uniforms, although a few don't see much change at all (ie. Flyers, Leafs). I will accept C&C but I don't plan on making revisions to the uniforms unless I really feel compelled. I will be adding "Marquee Matchups" where teams use special uniforms. This is where C&C would be most useful, in suggesting matchups, uniforms, revisions, etc. I will use this first post as a HUB for the concepts: Metropolitan Battle of New York (NYI v NYR) Keystone Classic (PHI @ PIT) Stevens' Cup (WAS + MIN @ NJD) Ohio Classic (PIT @ CBJ) Atlantic Tribute (NJD v PHI) All-American Clash (STL v NYR) Atlantic Battle of Ontario (TOR v OTT) Governor's Cup (FLA v TBL) All-American Clash (WAS v DET) International Classic (BOS @ MTL) Norris Cup (CHI v DET) Hartford Classic (CAR v BUF) Central All-American Clash (NSH v COL) International Classic (VAN @ CHI) All-American Clash (MIN v STL) Battle of Wisconsin (MIN v CHI) All-Canadian Clash (TOR v WPG) Star Series (MIN v DAL) Pacific California Series (ANA + SJS @ LAK) Battle of Alberta (CGY v EDM) Battle of the Desert (ARI v VGK) Marquee of '93 (FLA v ANA) All-American Clash (VGK v LAK) Pacific Territories (SJS v VAN)
  25. When the Minnesota Wild released their stadium series uniform, I thought it could be the excellent basis for a new set. I removed the white yoke (which really doesn't look good for the Wild, no matter the precedent), used the red number/white outline arrangement, and added the stripes to the pants. The white version has a green yoke, for better color balance. The other change I made will probably be controversial, namely the removal of the wheat color. I like the way in which the green and red contrast with each other, and I've always felt that the wheat color muddied it up. White makes it look sharper to me. It may be a departure from tradition for the team, but I think it works. This may be the first of a new series for me. C+C is greatly appreciated!
