  1. This concept was started a few years ago here: http://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98132-vintage-style-lipscombcoloradohoward/ . And I just went back and cleaned it up. Let me know what you think of the updates. Here is the image: And a GIF for comparison:
  2. While the top 4 AP teams played each other tonight (Kansas/Duke and Kentucky/Sparty), I just started this to avoid having @buzzcut start another thread yet never come back to discuss it. EDIT: Randy Bennett and St. Mary's get as "good" win against a quickly falling Greg Gard Wisconsin team...For now.
  3. Https://t.co/fz1RNTtiWO The old school logo on the grey and blue raglan. Does anyone have that graphic? I love way it looks but can't find it anywheere. Hope this is right spot to post. Thanks in advance.
  4. This is something I have been toying with for a while. I wanted to do a non ABA Colonels, non horse themed KY team. I went with Troopers. There are two separate Army bases in Kentucky, which led me to a military-esque logo. The team would play in Louisville but would be branded the Kentucky Troopers. Navy and Gold instead of the ABA royal and red. I wanted to use gold more due to Fort Knox, but couldn't make it work in a way that wasn't corny.
  5. Every self-respecting sports logo artist should have a wildcat in their stock folder (also, bulldog, eagle, tiger, etc). Its a very common mascot and therefore difficult to create in a unique way. This concept is basically a Northwestern Wildcat. but the design would meld easily into any wildcat brand. The only feature that I'm unsure of is which "light area" color works best (white, light purple, lighter purple). White Light Purple Lighter Purple White with Light Purple Border I kinda feel like the white is too harsh and the light purple blends too much, so I'm leaning towards the lighter purple.
