Second in my series of past AHL teams, Here's the Hamilton Canucks! I went with a lumberjack to resemble Vancouver's lumberjack and the shoulder patch is a skate as a nod to Vancouver's past skate logo which is one of my all time favorite logos. Couldn't decide on what color outline to use for the lumberjack but I kind of like the yellow outline to match the skate.
One of my may AHL teams of the past logos I will be posting. Here's the Saint John Flames logo form the early to mid 90's. Originally used as there primary shoulder patch logo I always thought it would be a great primary logo in the front of the jersey. I wanted to update this so here it is.
A womens hockey team I came up with... The Hollywood Starlets. The star on the state is where Hollywood is located and I went with a gold and black and white color scheme, and the font is the Hollywood hills sign. I'm going to make jerseys for this team soon and will post them on this thread. I have a few more teams in mind to go with this and will get to creating them soon enough.
I live in Rhode Island and created this hockey logo that I posted this last week... http://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/107224-providence-rhode-islanders/#comment-2579299 The feedback has been positive overall but everyone keeps saying the stick makes the logo unbalanced and that I should change the stick in the logo. I have no reason to change it because I created it knowing what I'm going to do with it on the jersey itself so here it is on a jersey. The state colors on the flag are yellow blue and white. The state flag also has an anchor on it so that's what I added to the shoulder patch.
