  1. Welcome, everybody, to this brand new series! I can't wait to get going on this thing, and I just think it's super cool y'all are checking this out. Since I first posted my very first few concepts on here on a few months ago, I feel I've learned a lot, and hopefully you all see that improvement as this series unfolds. I'll try my very best to keep updates daily. Below is the order in which I will be posting all 30 MLB teams: AL West - - Seattle Mariners (Ver. 2) - Oakland Athletics - Houston Astros (Houston Colt .45s) - Los Angeles Angels (Revamped Alts) - Texas Rangers NL West - - Los Angeles Dodgers - San Francisco Giants (San Francisco Seals) - Arizona Diamondbacks - San Diego Padres - Colorado Rockies AL Central - - Cleveland Indians - Kansas City Royals - Chicago White Sox - Detroit Tigers - Minnesota Twins NL Central - - Pittsburgh Pirates - Cincinnati Reds - St. Louis Cardinals - Milwaukee Brewers - Chicago Cubs AL East - - Boston Red Sox - New York Yankees - Baltimore Orioles - Tampa Bay Rays (Expos/Montreal rebrand) - Toronto Blue Jays NL East - - Philadelphia Phillies - New York Mets - Atlanta Braves - Washington Nationals (Senators rebrand) - Miami Marlins Each team will get four uniform options, including a home, road, and two alternate jerseys. For most teams, I will be avoiding adding throwbacks as their alts, but teams with classic looks like the Dodgers, Red Sox, and Yanks might end up with one as a fourth uniform option. some changes will be very small, others will be complete overhauls of team identities. And hopefully you'll like what I do to your favorite team's look. Anyway, that's enough talking. Let's get this thing started! As always, constructive criticism is encouraged. Enjoy!
  2. Hey there, everybody, I'm new around here. I've always had a passion for sports and sports logos, specifically baseball, but I don't really know a whole lot about graphic design. I've had some free time to dabble in the redesign arena lately, however. Thanks to @rsaline's wonderfully easy to use template, I have been able to knock out quite a couple teams this past week or so. Now, it's my first time doing anything like this, so I obviously welcome critiques. I probably won't have time to go back to fix everything based off of suggestions right away, but I'll do my best. Right away, you'll notice I haven't done anything too crazy with the few teams I've finished so far, and I don't plan to do so. You'll also find that I rank the old MLB logos and jerseys over the current looks. You'll see an abundance of throwback logos, fonts, and colors. Anyway, without any further comments, let's get underway! - Nate
  3. For the 2020 MLB season, I decided to create some Nike MLB jersey concepts for Players' Weekend using the new Nike Baseball Jersey template. I wanted to create something unique with these jerseys. I used a lot of alternate colors and alternate logos on the jerseys, and made fauxbacks for some teams as well. If you are wondering why the Mets are black and pink, it is because when they were formed they were supposed to be black and pink. I'm not entirely happy with the Rockies, Rays, and Astros. For the Rockies I didn't really have any ideas for, while the Astros and Rays jerseys didn't come out as well as I thought they would. Thanks for viewing.
  4. I decided to do a Nike MLB Uniform Refresh, some teams will get total rebrands, some will have altered colors, some will have new alternates, or get new throwbacks. Visit my Behance to see my other sports designs: https://www.behance.net/ianrasovsky For the diamondbacks, I updated the home and away uniforms by replacing the sand accents with teal, solidifying teal as their new tertiary color. I also added their purple alternate from 1998 on the new Nike MLB teamplate. I also created a new home cap, that replaced the sand in the diamonbacks's "A" logo.
  5. Sports fans, I am a very strong supporter of Major League Baseball expanding across America to new territory. So much so that I have devised an entire team design concept for a MLB team for a city the MLB has never played in before, and that is the city of New Orleans, Louisiana. I have created an entire design package for this new expansion team idea, which I have named the New Orleans Crescents, inspired by New Orleans' nickname of The Crescent City. I have created the team's main logo, the alternate logo, the home uniform, the away uniform, the practice uniform, the home jersey log, the away jersey logo, the logo for the baseball caps/batting practice/logo uniform patch, and even the logo for what would be the team main ballpark. I hope that you people really like what I have done here.
  6. I have known for months that my next concept series would be a MLB redesign. Major League Baseball is a league that holds on to its tradition more than any other league, so I decided to use this to create designs that combine different eras of the teams' histories. Before I begin, I should set some parameters (that I will try to keep from breaking): All colors, designs, etc. need to have been used by the team.I can combine elements from different logos, etc. to make a new logo. I am not necessarily trying to incorporate every past logo; instead I will try to end up with a concept that will look good while reflecting different eras of the teams' histories. I am not designing "throwback" uniforms. They aren't supposed to look like the jerseys that were worn in the 1940s; these are modern uniforms that incorporate old design elements. For this reason (and personal preference) I am using a template that has loose pants and socks instead of stirrups. I know that many of you aren't big fans of this look, but I want to replicate what MLB players are currently using. I am not necessarily going to create the look that I would want them to wear; there are probably going to be aspects of some uniforms that aren't my favorite, but I will still incorporate them into my design. That being said, I will not intentionally be creating ugly uniforms. I will give myself more freedom on the alternates, but they still must use elements that have been used before.Let me know what you think about the idea. Feel free to give suggestions about ways to improve the concept. A huge thanks to tbdaniel15 for creating the template that I am using. After I had the idea for this ScoffingYayap and (especially) SFGiants58 have done projects that have combined eras for some of the teams. They have done a very good job, and there will be some overlap with what they have done. I decided not to scrap the project just because others have had some of the same ideas I have. 7. Hello, This is the first time I've ever done a concept. It is rough, but i hope you guys like it. So, the MLB wants Cleveland to get rid of Chief Wahoo. Their current logo is boring, plain, and doesn't say "Indians" Here are the logos and uniforms! Hope you enjoy! This is their current "C" logo with some feathers attatched This is and old "Indians" on their current jerseys with the block C and a new hat. Current Away jersey with new C, and hat
