  1. We're a week away from the second year of the professional field lacrosse battle between Major League Lacrosse and the Premier Lacrosse League. MLL starts it's condensed season on July 18th at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland. Games to be aired on ESPN+ and ESPN2. https://majorleaguelacrosse.com/news/2020/6/29/mll-announces-annapolis-to-host-20th-anniversary-season.aspx https://majorleaguelacrosse.com/news/2020/7/10/2020-mll-tv-schedule.aspx Meanwhile the PLL will hold a Champion Series at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah beginning on July 25th. Games will air on NBC, NBC SportsNet and NBC Sports Gold. https://premierlacrosseleague.com/championship-series/
  2. After a successful (by their own admission) first season, the Premier Lacrosse League is adding an expansion team for the 2020 season. The Waterdogs Lacrosse Club was introduced earlier today. The PLL sure isn't afraid to take risk with it's team names. Guess it's better than playing it safe with generic names we've heard thousands of times already. I can't imagine it going well had this team been named the Bulldogs lol.
  3. It's pretty much just a big beer glass. Players from the winning team (Whipsnakes Lacrosse Club) were literally drinking booze out of it on the field live on NBC. Video of a locker room celebration posted by the league on YouTube had one of the players saying it takes 3 bottles of beer to fill it up.
