I finally decided to post my Minnesota Vikings concept that I made in January. The concept is based on the idea that there is a home/away set, color rush, and a throwback alternate. I based the main set on the vikings current uniforms while also implementing the concept drawings by Hubenthal. I used the current Vikings font but without the serifs, added a white facemask, and tweaked the horn logo slightly. For the color rush uniform I decided to base it on the all white uniforms the vikings wore from 1969-1995 with the UCLA stripes. I based the alternate/throwback on the 1965 uniform set, where the numbers are outlined and the stocks dont have stripes.

Imgur Album Links: Saints Steelers Cowboys Chargers Rams Falcons Packers Jaguars Patriots Eagles With the NFL Playoffs starting today, I decided to mock up some ideas I had for a three NFL Teams: the Saints, Steelers, and Cowboys. I loved the color rush uniforms for both the Saints and Steelers; ideas from both are implemented in these concepts. For the Saints, the concept basically is their color rush; there is no reason they shouldn't adopt that look full time. I simplified their helmet logo a bit and brought back the Louisiana state outline logo as a chest patch. In addition to the white jerseys taken from the color rush set, the concept includes a black jersey with gold-white-gold-white-gold stripes as well as a gold jersey with b-w-b-w-b stripes. An alternate white helmet idea is also shown; it would only be used if the NFL were to lift the one helmet rule, obviously.

I made a new jersey template on paint and wanted to test it out, and thought what better team to do than my Saints. It's just a few minor changes, and converting to the new jersey template Nike is dressing the college teams in. C&C please. Home Away Alternate Fauxback

When you've posted a lot of concepts, there's a decent chance there are a lot you'd like to revisit. Back before cellphones were smart, I'd posted a Saints third jersey, which was largely replacing the FDL on each sleeve with a striping pattern-logo hybrid, using a different block font, and adding purple and green. Those who commented largely felt it was a rather lazy effort at an alt, so I came back with a new pants/helmet stripe, and a green jersey with purple shoulders, as I was going for a Mardi Gras vibe. I occasionally post some of my concepts at Aussie rules forum Big Footy, and occasionally whatever reactions I get here have a funny tendency to elicit the opposite reaction down under. Dialup was acting up earlier, so I figured I'd take it and turn it into a full concept this time. Home and Away The aforementioned logo/stripe hybrid? Naturally, strings of Mardi Gras beads, largely modeled after the stripes on the Saints' original jerseys. Confession time...I was originally gonna use purple and green in the main set, but decided against it in the end, which is largely why the helmet/pants stripe looks like it does. Alternate Aint no rule against using a different stripe IIRC...and as you can see, an argyle-like pattern all over the jersey, an idea I had for a Pelicans concept I've yet to really work on. I was going to put it on the pants as well, but then it seemed like overkill.
