  1. Hi guys I had that project waiting to be published, here is a personal concept. I want to be able in a near future to make some 3D presentation, It's not 3D yet but I'm working to improve my presentation... what you think? ps: You'll find the rest under the video in the second post, enjoy!
  2. TCU has a few vintage logos, but I thought I'd take elements from them and create a neo-vintage one:
  3. Texas has one of the best uniforms in CFB. It is practically untouchable. But I designed several concepts that I felt could change some peoples minds. Give me your thoughts. - Original template by Andrew Lind
  4. I finally decided to upload a concept to the site, so let's see how this goes! I was pretty excited when Beto O'Rourke announced that he was going to run for Texas' U.S. Senate seat, so I decided to put my built up energy into use and make a graphic/ poster (I will probably tinker with the dimensions, if I do use it as a poster) in support of his campaign. I wanted to theme the graphic around a Southwestern/Hispanic textile design which is reflective of O'Rourke's hometown and congressional district of El Paso, Texas. I based the color scheme further around this by including pastel versions of the colors typically associated with the West Texas town (Orange and Blue: UTEP and Yellow: El Paso flag). The center of the design reads "Run Beto for Senate" inside an 'abstract' representation of the State of Texas (I felt that something more geometric played better with the theme) coupled with a 'Lone Star' in West Texas. The font used for "Run" and "for Senate" is El Sancho Rancho, and "Beto" is sourced from his senate/congressional campaign logo. C&C are obviously welcome, but I'd rather it center around the design instead of politics
  5. I'm guessing I'll catch some flack for this but, I'm tweaking the "" I'm a fan of the Texas's current look, however a few things have bothered me. It looks a bit flat and the shape of the horns looks off (especially compared to Bevo). So I went in and fleshed out the animal. In doing this I added a color... cream to the look. I feel like I've always associated cream color with UT but I can't place it... Anyway, I did a flat version too for all those fans that would have to breathe into a paper bag if they dropped that all together: Here are some reference images:
  6. As a native Texan, I've been to more Rangers games than I can remember. As one of the most beautiful parks in the country, the stadium needs a logo that helps promote it's appearance. Therefore, I have decided to rebrand 'Globe Life Park.' More will come as soon as I feel the logo in finalized. Comments and critiques are welcome! Thanks!
  7. We're entering that "You don't touch those" territory. As Nike, Under Armour and Adidas prepare to bid on representing Texas, I felt inspired to try out a new concept. I truly believe that Texas is just a few years away from rolling out an alternate uniform. But if they do so, I'm convinced it will be fairly conservative. I'm not expecting a blacked out set or anything that could be considered a drastic move away from their fairly conservative style. Thus, I tried to keep it simple with their alternate. With the school being so proud of their academics, I included the University's seal on the collar. I enlarged the "Texas" fontface on the chest to symbolize that "everything is bigger in Texas" mindset. The Longhorn logo can be seen behind the chest name and number. It's mean to simulate the sun/lights shining on the uniform and displaying the mascot. The only other additions to the uniform are a burnt orange helmet, white sleeves (w/Burnt Orange numbers) and Longhorns on the mesh of the pants.
  8. Hey guys, I was asked by someone in a fantasy football league I'm in to come up with a logo for them so I thought I would share what I came up with. The team is based in Waco, TX and the team owner said he wanted a Roman soldier theme to go with the name, which is the Warriors. Hope you all like, C&C is appreciated! The left side of the helmet would have the number of the player wearing it in Roman Numerals (the example is 75)
  9. I know one thing...after several months in mothballs, College to Pro makes its season debut tonight, with four of the best rushers to ever come out of Burnt Orange nation. For anyone new to this, what I try to do in C2P is see what a given player's college and pro uniforms would look like if the designs were swapped, and I will generally make every effort to achieve a good swap. If I need to take a few liberties, like adding a color or two, up to and including creating a frankenlogo (or using one of you guys' logos), I will. Which is why I haven't done any Oregon alums yet Age before beauty, as the old saying goes...the one and only Tyler Rose, Earl Campbell One of the freer spirits to ever grace the gridiron, Ricky Williams Yes, in this case, the sun was traded to Austin. And if the striping order seems a bit off to you, you gotta remember that in this case, burnt orange replaces aqua, so black replaces orange coral. Decided to enlist the old Michigan Panthers' champagne silver color to replace navy. If ya need the loooord, call the Priest...Holmes, that is. Faster than a speeding bullet, more touchdown catches than a Chiefs wide's a bird, it's a plane, it's Jamaal Charles! The arrowhead just looked a bit too awkward completely blank, so the KC remained. Likewise, I tried to add a UT to the longhorn, but that looked really I followed Clint's suggestion and placed it above instead.
  10. This is my second post and I thought that I might put out an idea for the Houston Rockets. This concept includes a primary logo, a set of home and road jerseys as well as a road alternate. C & C appreciated. Primary Logo: Home Jersey: Road Jersey: Road Alternate Jersey: Thanks for looking.
  11. Love the Rangers but hate so much about their current look so I tried to create something that felt in line with some of the history and not a complete ground up redo. Very much inspired by some of the modern retro threads that have gone on around here. Anyways I'm a long time lurker for the most part, so C&C is welcome on my first thread post. First things first, here's the New Logo: Home Unis: Road Unis:
  12. Hey all, Recently I've started fiddling around with creating logo and jersey concepts in Illustrator and came up with something for the AHL's Texas Stars. Primary Logo: Not a fan of the present day Texas logo which is basically the old Stars logo except heavily beveled. I am, however, a fan of the old Dallas shoulder patch logo, so I took that and removed the "D" and the black from the logo and replaced all of it with gold. Alternate logo: Removed all the unnecessary beveling that I feel ruins the look of the current brand and added the old Stars colors for continuity. Jerseys: Currently working on an alternate, but in the meantime, any thoughts or critiques? Fire away
  13. I saw on the forums that the Madden winners had been notified. These were my submissions. Meant to share these earlier. Same logo with alternate colors.
  14. Hello guys I wanted to redesign all the football Teams in the state of texas and then i realized that was kinda impossible so here is my school Columbus CC is welcomed along with request for your school.
  15. I design a lot of stuff for Texas Tech University. I'm also a fan of artist Drew Struzans's work and wanted to try something similar in Photoshop. After playing around for a while, is what I came up with...
  16. The Texas Longhorn Away Uniforms are often referred to as their "Stormtrooper Aways". It was with that thought in mind that some Longhorn friends approached me and asked me to do my own version of the Texas/Star Wars Affiliation. Thus, I present to you my Vaders and Stormtroopers. I like the set. But I'd never want Texas to go away from the Burnt Orange Primary at Home.
  17. So i’ve been following this website for quite a long time now and let me say there is some amazing work on here. Ive decided to finally go ahead and throw out some of my conceptual ideas. So I decided to make some HydroChromed helmets since this is the new fad in college football. Let me know what you guys think, all c&c is appreciated. The Arkansas helmet would be HydroChromed with the nice shine, but was hard to present with the real tree camo texture. Also the yellow helmet with the wing is not oregon it is the University of Charleston in WV, there mascot is the golden eagles. It’s a small d2 school that i attended. Texas Hydrochrome OSU Hydrochrome Cincinnati Hydrochrome Charleston Hydrochrome Arkansas Hyrdrochrome
  18. So, I'm originally from Lubbock, TX. I've always been a fan of the Red Raiders. I especially love the Double T logo. However, I really like this secondary mark. So much in fact that I think it would make a better helmet design. I haven't worked up a back view yet. Maybe I'll get around to that eventually... For the record, I didn't design this logo. I just tweaked it a bit to make it look good on a helmet.
  19. I have a logo in mind, but my skills are.... limited, shall we say? But I have an idea, at least. And here's just something I did on the fly for an NBA team in Fort Worth. The colors are crimson and grey, and I chose to go with an Art Deco look in reference to the architecture seen around the core of the city. What do ya think?
  20. Just saw these on a friends facebook page... thoughts?
