  1. Hey what's up, everyone! I'm back with another series. Last time, you saw me posting NBA uniform (and logo for some teams) concepts. This time, I'm going to tackle uniform concepts from the world's premier women's basketball league, the WNBA. It took a long time before I created this series, due to so many reasons: difficulty in conceptualization, external drive problems, etc. But, here we are, finally. I liked the route that the league and Nike went to, which is, having unique designs for the teams and not resorting to a single templated design. I'll follow that suit in this series. And just like in the NBA, these uniforms are categorized into heroine (white), explorer (dark), and rebel (alternate). But I added another edition, and it's called the storyteller, which is equivalent to the NBA's city uniforms, plus the name itself has a deeper meaning, in which the WNBA establishes new chapters per game. That statement was the best Nike-esque expression I could ever write. Not only that, these four editions form the abbreviation H-E-R-S. Similar to my NBA concepts, league logo on the jersey is in the front (with the colors varying per team) and the NOB goes back to its traditional position (arched and on top of the back number). And the best thing here? No sponsors! Well, the teams can add them if they want to. 3. My new series to redesign the NBA G-League and WNBA and replace the templated uniforms. Let's start with the WNBA. I'll be doing all 12 current WNBA teams and a few more folded teams. For the G-League I'll do the 1 team for every NBA teams plus the Ignite and Mexico teams. Every Team will get an Association(White) and an Icon(Road/Color) and maybe a Statement(Alternate). 4. In honor of my hometown team's 4th WNBA championship, here's my take on the Seattle Storm! The current primary logo is a bit busy, so mostly this is a cleanup. The Space Needle gets a new, less abstract silhouette, while the wordmark is flattened and simplified. The alternate logos include a version of the current secondary mark, reworked into a raincloud, as well as a Space Needle + Mt Rainier logo and a evergreen tree + lightning bolt logo. The font is Mesmerize. I know the WNBA is currently a templated, ad-covered mess in terms of uniform design right now, but we can dream, right? The two main jerseys have a raincloud-patterned side panel, and a similar Mount Rainier design on the shorts. The wordmarks are simplified versions of the Storm's original designs. The colors are limited to the green, silver, and white for an overcast aesthetic. The alternate jersey is my attempt to adapt the 2018/2020 championship uniform into this set. Please let me know what you think! Go Storm!

  6. Hello, it's my first time in a good while doing a logo series, but I thought I had some stuff worth sharing. This little series is based on the premise of the owners of the Milwaukee Bucks deciding to expand on their sports holdings and launch expansion teams in various other leagues. I have dubbed this hypothetical enterprise the Deer Sports Empire. Currently, aside from the Bucks they own the Wisconsin Herd. I will be leaving the logos for those teams as is, partially because I really like them and partially because the idea is the owners are launching new teams with similar branding touches (colors, font, etc). I also will not be touching MLB or giving them an NFL team as there's no world where those things would happen. These are the teams and leagues I plan to do so far. A couple are already done or close to finished. As suggestions (hopefully) are made and new ideas come to me I may add to this list. If anyone has a team in a league they would like to see, feel free to make suggestions. I dont have uniform templates for all the different sports so I'm just focusing on uniforms right now.
