ninersdd
Blues tied for the division now. Niemi has only surrendered 1 goal in last 2 games. Huge game on Saturday vs Chicago before a long road trip. BEAR DOWN ARIZONA!2013/14 Tanks Picks Champion
Still MIGHTY
There are six teams tied for the President's Trophy lead at 91 points: Rangers (66 games), Blues (67 games), Canadiens (68 games), Lightning, Predators, Ducks (all tied at 69 games, 42-20-7). Islanders just outside with 90 points (69 games). Penguins just a little bit farther off at 88 points (67 games). That's just insanely close. | ANA | LAA | LAR | LAL | ASU | CSULB | USMNT | USWNT | LAFC | OCSC | MAN UTD |
Lee.
I suppose missing Byfuglien is going to diminish them quite a bit. Maybe they'll ramp it up when he comes back, but now they don't control their own fate anymore. Go Canucks. Unclean, unclean.Injuries are killing this team, Ruxin. Byfuglien, Perreault, Little, Myers. That's a lot of front line talent out of the lineup. Welcome to DrunjFlix

Doug Wilson too. Hey oh!Srsly, wtf with the throwing under the bus in public week... Nazem Kadri could've been 'out' with a 'groin injury' wink wink, but Shanny goes full disclosure, on a player who's probably not leaving (or if he is, they just devalued him wtg). Now Wilson... hilarious. @2001mark
Still MIGHTY
So Wilson is either finally fired, or Thornton is finally traded... right?Nah. DaRadniz29
While it's not an ideal time for the article to come out, I'm not at all surprised. Secondly, from what I've seen on how Doug Wilson operates, I wouldn't be surprised if this is a "poke-the-bear" tactic. I really don't think Joe needs a poke-the-bear moment at this time, he's played well most of the season. I'd be careful poking Thornton, because, while angry Joe usually plays well, he also is very very angry and often highly emotional. So, he could play out of mind, smart, unstoppable hockey and the Blackhawks won't know what hit them.OrJumbo will be off the ice within the first fifteen minutes due to a game misconduct penalty.if it's the smart-unstoppable-hockey Thornton, Sharks should win.If it's the game misconduct version, it could be a long day for Team Teal.Neither of those is a guarantee of any kind and the Sharks could win without Jumbo Joe and lose with him. In either case Blackhawks players might want to keep their heads up more often this afternoon.Hopefully this fuels the fire for even more of playoff push and doesn't derail the Teal Express. ninersdd
This is weird. Turned on CSN California for Hawks-Sharks, and instead the Colonial women's basketball tourney was on. It turns the Sharks are on the overflow station, CSN+. So the Sharks get bumped for a mid major women's tourney? Really? Alex Houston
I'm glad I decided to zone out on something else on this absolutely delightful afternoon in Chicago, then focus on the locals running amok on whatever remains of this team I choose to root for. Yet oddly enough, they were outshooting them for the first two periods and were actually playing some competent hockey. Oh well. Let's just wait for the drama to come out once the team is officially out. There future moves will either help real me back or just alienate me further to the point of not caring. "And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life... The Six
So there's been some speculation that the Predators were trying to keep the Kings out of the playoffs by beating them yesterday. I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but when you consider that it was a road game for them and they could have easily lost to LA, it makes you think.
