BBTV
what if there was a rule saying that players can't conference with other players (LeBron/Wade/Bosh)LOL - not only is that impossible to enforce, it's probably illegal, and just silly. truepg
But yes, who on earth would want to be a Buck? Jabari Parker.
Evil G
Well he was drafted by the Bucks. He didn't choose to be there.I wouldn't be surprised if when he hit free agency he goes to the Lakers or Heat or whatever. Lee Noire
That's a fair point. I don't know what ties Parker has to that city to make him want to be a Buck, so your theory seems much more realistic.
Saint Zephyr III
That's a fair point. I don't know what ties Parker has to that city to make him want to be a Buck, so your theory seems much more realistic. The savvy thing to think is that the Bucks are a refreshed franchise with the new ownership, new arena coming down the road, an anticipated identity revamp...someone like Parker could be the face of a re-energized franchise so even if they were dreadful last year he's going to be on the forefront. Far easier to get a giant contract from your team when they're not a free agent draw.
truepg
Well he was drafted by the Bucks. He didn't choose to be there. There was talk before the draft that he wanted to end up in Milwaukee because that's near his hometown Chicago.
Lights Out
Well he was drafted by the Bucks. He didn't choose to be there. He also didn't pull a Kobe and force his way to a big-market team on draft day.what if there was a rule saying that players can't conference with other players (LeBron/Wade/Bosh)Not only would such a rule be impossible to enforce, it's also not necessary, because the new CBA makes it more difficult to form a superteam via free agency with the harsh repeater tax.
