Their ideology is predicated on the system not working, so they make sure it doesn't.Just because a plan is approved doesn't necessarily mean it's the best plan (and this happens on both sides of the aisle). You could have lines all around Atlanta. Doesn't mean it'd be better, nor does it mean it would be self-sustainable without more government debt every year. In fact...I'm not sure any public train system makes a profit (or breaks even), no matter how good it is. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.
