YelichGraphics 301 Posted October 29, 2014 took me a while to figure it out. try going whole body
RiRud62 0 Posted October 29, 2014 Sorta looks like the might ducks logo, but keep it, you got something here
chrysleraspen08 227 Posted October 30, 2014 It kinda looks like the Mighty Ducks logo melted. I'd take an earlier posters suggestion and try the whole fish.
hettinger_rl 1,423 Posted October 30, 2014 I do have a fish logo made. I actually used it to create the mask. Here it is, along with a version "wearing" the mask.I think the mask should be left as a secondary, but thought it might be helpful to see the "fit".
sparky 1,454 Posted October 30, 2014 It looks better on the fish than on its own, because we see it in context. On its own, it's not immediately apparent that it's a fish mask.Try having the top of the mask follow the top of the eyebrow, and remove the high "forehead" part.
wildwing64 1,702 Posted October 30, 2014 I'm not sure if this really works. You've got a cartoony hockey mask being stuck on a more detailed illustration of a fish. The styles don't really mesh all that well, and the mask still looks more like a duck than a fish.
hettinger_rl 1,423 Posted October 30, 2014 Hmm. I have an old drawing of the same kind of fish from the front view, think that would lend itself better to the mask idea?
Dan O'Mac 492 Posted October 30, 2014 I see the mask as a partial skull for the fish
capeaters 0 Posted November 3, 2014 Cool concept! If you have time, I'd try a front view to see if that looks better. My only concern about a front view is that it might look even closer to the ducks logo (fish lip vs duck beak). I am guessing it would look very similar but I could be wrong. If you're not set on the fish, it might be a good idea to try another animal...
