JasonFromMiami
Dammit, i had hoped the Rangers would have picked up the panda, would have loved to see him and Prince right after eachother in a batting order line up, roasting in the hot Texas summer sun. FiddySicks
The Giants could go out and sign the Headley from the YanksI've heard this rumor as a backup plan for Pablo for quite some time now, and I really don't think that's the direction they'll go. Headley is going to be too expensive ultimately, and with the lack of available third basemen, there are gonna be a ton of suitors. Honestly, if I'm the Giants, this is what my off season plans look like at this point. Sign Thomas to play left fieldWork on getting AT LEAST one starter, probably more like twoPlay Arias/Jed Lowrie/Roger Dorn/A flaming dumpster at third until you find someone, ANYONE in the minors that you can develop into a viable optionGood luck to Pablo in Boston and a caps off to Giants 3B coach Tim Flannery, who retired today. VERY bummed to hear this. I was hoping he would get the opportunity to manage at the major league level before he hung em up. Hope we at least get to see a few more of these On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) FiddySicks
Awesome. The Giants seriously aren't going to do anything to replace Pablo, are they? The Six
That's some bizarre harmony they have going there. I'm guessing they didn't rehearse that.
GriffinM6
I'm scared the Giants are gonna try and trade to get Pirates minor leaguer Josh Bell. If Bell doesn't make a move to 1st base in spring, I could see him as a very valuable trade piece to get a good starting pitcher. Bell was the Pirates minor league player of the year and plays third if you were wondering.

jrodsep
Who is the next big free agent to sign? My guess is John Lester with SF after their second meeting next week. After him, the other big free agents will fall within a week.

JasonFromMiami
First Cespedes, now Josh D ? Billy Beane is a joke.-I think he also tried to get Jonah Hill to play first base, but he had to settle for Billy Butler.
FGM13
Josh Donaldson? Alright! Can't really say I understand what Billy Beane's doing here. Does he really think Brett Lawrie's gonna outplay Donaldson? GO OILERS-GO BLUE JAYS-GO ESKIMOS-GO COLTS
JasonFromMiami
Let me ask something: If Billy Beane hands are really that tied as we see in Moneyball, why does he not take the offers to manage another MLB club ? There he would get a fat raise and could get the expensive players we hear the A´s can´t afford. - If the A´s had not traded Yoenis Cespedes i really believe they could have won the world series
