Phil
GMS, your developing talents continue to impress me:In regards to your Indiana Pacers concept, both your primary and alternate logos remind me very much of a certain F3L concept you came up with... ahh, memories of the summer of '02... very nice job in updating it for the Pacers. Will you be making jerseys for those concepts? If you are, I can't wait to see them.In regards to the Packers concept: I must say I have learned to appreciate the Packers jersey, however, in observing your concept, I must say I liked almost all of the things you did. "Italicizing" the G helmet logo was brilliant... it is a pleasant modernization that preserves a historical yet somewhat plain logo. The jersey styles are cool too. I have two little suggestions, however: Darken the green on the jerseys, and use a different font for the numbers... in this day and age of crazy number fonts, a College type font used on a jersey may not be the most uncreative thing anymore. I wonder what college numbers would look like slightly italicized?Hmmm...Again, fantastic work GMS, keep it up.
GMS1122
thanks for the kind words, SyPhi, i do plan on making jerseys to go with the pacers design, at the moment i am very caught up with school, basketball, and other things that right now deserve more attention :: the day will come though, hopefully not too long before i put some together, the ideas are yelling at me in my head .....in regards to the packers concept, after looking at it several times i have began to think the same about using a little darker green on the jersey and changing the font of the numbers. if i get the time tonight i will throw some new numbers on the jersey and repost. thanks again
GMS1122
i added 2 more options to the concept, that you can find here just click on each option and tell me which one (if any) you prefer the best, or what i can do to improve any of them. comments would be greatly appreciated
JQK
The Pacers concept is cool...but it is not reflective of the team name. They are named after the pace car for thr 500, not the Pace horse. I don't know if this is something they would consider doing, but as a logo, it isin't bad at all.As for the Packers uniform...........and that's all i have to say 'bout that.... Sec19Row53
I like the number font you used in Concept 3 better than the first two. While I'm not a fan of the "collar" style of jersey, I like what you came up with.Do you take suggestions? If so, please PM me, and I'll describe my Packers idea.EDIT: OK, so I got to thinking. What would the other side of the helmet look like? You can't just create a mirror-image, as the G would be backward. I assume that you keep the forward part of the logo elevated (or do you?). Shizznick
I like your Houston Rockets concept. The logo with the Bball as the rocket is sweet. The uniform reminds me of the University of Houston unis with the red and white. I like the current Warriors road unis which could work if you wanted to mix the current Rockets blue into the uni, keep the unis red with dark blue side panels and yellow trim.
