Gothamite 24,469 Posted April 5, 2015 FC Edmonton are known as the Eddies. The white rabbit on the back of their kits has something to do with a rabbit being seen on the pitch prior to a couple of wins. It's been adopted as a bit of an unofficial mascot/good luck charm.Serves me right for looking at Wikipedia.
Malpass 4 Posted April 5, 2015 What's with the alt logos on the Strikers' jerseys?http://web.archive.org/web/20110405061339/http://www.miamifc.com/article/strikers-release-new-logoThey've had that longer than they've had the shield...

IanC 59 Posted April 6, 2015 I just found out that this is supposed to be the moon's surface:That's because of their anthem Blue Moon.Covered here by former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher and his band Beady Eye.
MJWalker45 6,009 Posted April 6, 2015 They could have done an abstract moon that would look much better.
Malpass 4 Posted April 6, 2015 There's a new club with the name Miami Fusion FC, that will join the NPSL next season: http://www.nationalpremiersoccerleague.com/home/869918.html
WideRight 2,512 Posted April 6, 2015 Wow, that is a really bad logo. The shield gets oddly thin at the top, it looks like they erased a sash across the front because there is an odd gap on the right side, the eagle head never touches the shield's blue, but the red bands do, just a lot of uch going on here.
Berlin Wall 1,255 Posted April 6, 2015 I could swear that I've also seen this bird somewhere before.
IanC 59 Posted April 6, 2015 Israel national team is not far off it either with their design.
Gothamite 24,469 Posted April 6, 2015 Israel "borrowed" it from Ireland. We've seen that Fusion logo before, but I can't remember the context.
BlackBolt3 1,380 Posted April 6, 2015 I'm pretty sure it was a black and white image from a patent page from about 2 years ago. Rumored to be Beckham's team for a short time.

mattb6 690 Posted April 7, 2015 Is the bomb pop template being recycled into women's soccer?
Digby 6,859 Posted April 7, 2015 I've seen the bomb pop as teamwear for men as well... wouldn't be surprised to see it all over the lower leagues for 15/16.

I'm surprised only Chicago and Portland got one custom shirt. Seattle would have been my guess for a custom shirt as well.

patsox 66 Posted April 7, 2015 The Revs are wearing their new red away kits against Colorado tonight:https://www.facebook.com/nerevolution/posts/10152840466968230:0Here's a picture of them wearing them:
Digby 6,859 Posted April 7, 2015 I still think the Revs should have simply stolen Colombia's away kits from last year's World Cup, but the New England flag look is a good Plan B. Very fresh and different for a club that has rarely been described as such, especially in a year when nearly all the other new aways were dull all-white affairs.Interesting that they wore them against the dark red of Colorado, though navy would have clashed with dark red too.
MJWalker45 6,009 Posted April 7, 2015 They should have worn last year's aways instead. Simple solutions aren't allowed in MLS. Also, why di Newcastle wear those horrid silver outfits against Sunderland?
