Just tweaking the colors, and you get something decent, splitting the original look with the Colorado third jersey. This is a nice update. Love that font choice. But I'd make the striping more consistent on the black jersey. PotD: 24/08/2017
Morgan33
At the risk of starting another argument about the two logos, this uniform is simply a thing of beauty. One thing I just noticed is how the the hem striping borrows from the 'Mighty Ducks' look, while the sleeve striping represents the current branding. It's nice when teams incorporate elements of their history. Even if they switched the 'Mask' with the 'Webbed D,' I would be all for it becoming the primary. Anaheim knocked it out of the park with this uniform. 10/10.
wildwing64
I agree that it would look fine with the D logo. But between the two, the mask is the stronger mark by far and propels this jersey right up there. Hell, I'd go as far as to say it's the best thing the Ducks have ever worn. Even better than the eggplant and jade uniforms, and I love those things. PotD: 24/08/2017

If they promote this to being the new home jersey, I could see them changing shoulder patches to phase out the Webbed D, in favor of the new/old or should I say old/new branding. Teams like to do that, when they release new stuff. This time, it would be an issue because the duck foot represents the franchise's only Stanley Cup. So in terms of future branding, there's alot that will need to be put into consideration.
FiddySicks
The D foot is a really good, really solid logo. It's perfect as a shoulder patch. But the duck mask logo absolutely blows it out of the water. Sure, it's cartoony, but that's mostly why makes it so great IMO. And it's not like they're the only team with a cartoony primary. The Penguins crest is pretty cartoony, but it's also a great logo. The Sharks logo is pretty cartoony too, and it's solid in its own right. Their old logo (which I MUCH prefer) is WAY cartoony too, and that's probably my favorite ever hockey logo. Rollins Man
im not a fan of the collar personally, i would have liked a standard collar with no laces, and no wordmark either. The way the colors and logos work is beautiful, hope it takes over their main set in the years to come.

Not that this has stopped other teams from doing the same. Look at the Stars and Lightning for example. Heck, the Bolts have rebranded twice since their Cup win. There's the mindset that teams should "look their best", but arguably, both teams are better off for moving away from their Cup winning uniforms. Unpopular Opinion here, but I actually quite like the Bolts current look (sans third) in spite of looking like a Leafs clone. hockey week
I've noticed, with all of the recent Lightning concepts, that the primary color is blue. I've always thought of Tampa Bay as a black team. That was their primary color from their inception until the most recent update. They could've dropped blue entirely during their first decade and it wouldn't have been all that noticeable. Why has there been this big change to blue? I'll respect any opinion that you can defend.

I think Morgo's latest Lightning concept is ideal for them. Keep them black but have blue a little more prominent than their originL jerseys. If Ryan Getzlaf is wearing the D and gets hit. This is the sound he makes. But if he is wearing that Disney crap and gets hit. This is the sound he makes. The Catch of the Day! This is probably the best iteration I've seen of combining the various eras of Tampa's identity into a modern but classy look. The current logo while pretty boring actually looks tastefully minimalistic when it's not completely monotone. The jerseys are a nice tweaking of their best and most successful jerseys in their history. Add some silver trim to the lightning bolt and the stripes, make the home stripe pattern match those on the away, and make the blue a shade or two brighter to add some contrast and you have a really decent set. Still MIGHTY
Holy , Octopus. Get over it. Again, you act like the Mighty Ducks logo killed your family or something. (And if it did, it was probably delicious.) We get it. You don't like the logo, but, guess what, it exists. It was here, now it's back and better than ever. So please, go crawl back under a rock and scuttle on home. | ANA | LAA | LAR | LAL | ASU | CSULB | USMNT | USWNT | LAFC | OCSC | MAN UTD |

wildwing64
RIP minimalised colour scheme that bled into the black and was barely noticeable in action. Morgan33
That tiny logo looked ridiculous and downgraded the uniform from passable to irredeemable.
