TheRicSlick
While Googling Jonathon Stewart (I was bored), I came across an interesting picture of when the Panthers were with Reebok. The Reebok logo was behind the Panther logo on the sleeve, not on top of it like every other Reebok and Nike jersey. I know the reason for this was because of the way he cut his jersey, which left little room for where the logo was supposed to be. Does anybody know of any player that also did this? mattb6
Just cause I associate D'Angelo Williams with Johnathon Stewart, I googled him and, sure enough, his was the same.Don't remember ever seeing anything about this.
GriffinM6
Seems like the Panthers are the only victims of this. Greg Olsen and Jeremy Shockey had the same thing with their Reebok jerseys as well.
mattb6
It appears to be just a Panthers thing, because among teams that wore a logo on the sleeve during the Reebok era, I can't find any examples of this outside of the Panthers (in a quick search, of course)
FiddySicks
I guess I get the whole easier visibility thing (not really), but this is exactly why I don't understand why Nike or Reebok didn't place the logo on the front of the jersey like they do in college. Gothamite
Because that would increase the logo's visibility. And that's exactly why the NFL won't let them. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
TorinK92
It's sort of related in more ways than one, but the Florida Panthers once came out one night in their old alternates wearing two different Reebok logos, the old and the new, on the back. (It's partially blocked due to a stick, but you can still see it)

And that's exactly why the NFL won't let them.I thought the argument was the other way around and it was on the sleeves because they get more exposure that way by having two logos instead of just the one. I could have that mixed up though. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) Does anybody know of any player that also did this? It's really too bad the Panthers can't find a few more places to stick their logo. Maybe the sides of the socks? Or above the NOB? I mean, only six of the exact same logo on every player doesn't seem like nearly enough, does it.The 90's. http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/
MJWalker45
I want to say the Jaguars may have had a couple players with this issue. The only other team i can think of that had logos on the sleeves were the Seahawks. Obviously it was a lot smaller than the Panthers.
