Both SDSU and Vandy rolled the dice, yet now have two of the more unique helmets in college. Also, Auburn's looks nice, and Cincy does too, but a little more red could work. The wings are so large and the maize is so vibrant against the dark blue shell that it doesn't need anything to stick out more, it already sticks out as much as it can right now. I think metallic (not chrome) pretty much always works.. If the white jerseys have a little gold in them it will look like the stickers were an afterthought when they go stormtrooper. These helmets along with the new uniforms offer a clean, fresh brand that gives them some life and a degree of uniqueness that looks fantastic. In our storm-trooper combo, the only gold will be the number outline, which is very disappointing. I'm fine the lack of white on the black, since there is no white in the black jerseys or pants. I am happy that we have kept the traditional gold helmet's stripes, but the shade of gold doesn't match the gold throughout the rest of the set, which has always been a problem for Vandy. They'll be like Southern Miss."
