See Red 2,002 Posted September 2, 2015 I'm not usually a fan of their logo but that helmet looks great. The state outline behind the numbers and stripes on the shoulders? Totally different story. Go away, Adidas.
Webfooter 947 Posted September 2, 2015 I get the feeling they're going to return to the O on the sides for a few of the their helmets. It sounds like they only made the wing change on a couple of their helmets so they aren't completely ditching the chrome wings (yet.)I am getting the same feeling regarding the "O" on the sides of the helmets, but I am a little concerned that the new yellow and silver helmets could look a little cluttered on the sides with both the smaller wings and the "O" decals. Also, I would certainly expect them to keep a few of the winged helmets in the rotation this year, especially the white and black ones. As far as the jerseys go, all indications point to the old yellow jerseys still being used, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the white jerseys from the Natty and the green jerseys from the spring game plugged into the rotation. I'm taking a wait-and-see approach to the new helmets since it may not look bad. Only thing I'm worried about is them having two helmet designs (the chrome wings and the modified, painted wings) and it looking like a muddled mix of the two. It's almost like they can't choose between staying with the current style or going full-on with the next rebrand (which they are due for based on them changing every 3 seasons.) They really need to decide on which look they want to adopt and go full-on with that look.On the jersey issue, it does seem odd that they're still selling the yellow, black, and apple green versions of the older Speed Machine style while having the newer Mach Speed ones already in rotation. As with the helmets, they need to choose instead of mixing old styles that may or may not work with one another. It's creating a bit of a branding issue for them when they've typically been pretty concise with it.

Brave-Bird 08 1,703 Posted September 2, 2015 That EWU uniform, minus the stupid Adidas pants, is what Louisville should be wearing.

GeauxColonels 725 Posted September 2, 2015 LSU and McNeese St will be wearing a set of helmet decals Saturday night when they play each other to commemorate the 10 anniversaries of hurricanes Katrina and Rita that hit the state only weeks apart from one another back in 2005:Also a bonus pic of LSU equipment staff striping the shells:

SiLeNt WaVe 61 Posted September 2, 2015 Looks good except for those dreadful pants. Continue that stripe from the shoulders down the sides of the pants and it's winner winner.

Mitch B 680 Posted September 3, 2015 KU's opening uniform: Should have chosen grey or white pants instead.Agreed. It's not horrible, but lighter color pants would have been better. I also wish the helmets had KU on them.

I hope we have a red jersey this year.
Brave-Bird 08 1,703 Posted September 3, 2015 Grey pants would make that Kansas set perfect, but there's no shame in that look compared to others. That's a solid 8/10
MJWalker45 5,452 Posted September 3, 2015 What kind of innocuous Adidas template is this? Where's the tire tread? So they copied Texas A&M's unis from last year. The giant logo on the pants thing needs to die a horrible death. It look out of place with teh rest of the uniform.

Xist2inspire 118 Posted September 3, 2015 Wow, I'm really digging how they placed the stripes on the jersey. That's really nice.

AndrewMLind 2,296 Posted September 3, 2015 That would be the best uniform Adidas has revealed in quite some time if the numbers were normal and the stripes were on the pants (instead of the logo).
crosfam 387 Posted September 3, 2015 I am not usually a fan of all white, but that would look really nice as a home uniform on that red turf.

U of nike should always have the most exclusive and current design. Mix and matching consecutive generations of designs is extremely muddled to put things nicely.
pianoknight 2,991 Posted September 3, 2015 Take that EWU uniform, modify the stripes slightly with some gray, and you have a dazzling white-out set for the Buckeyes.
