LSU always wears purple for at least one or tw games. I can think of maybe six games under Johnson where Tech has not worn white (same before Gailey.) They look great as pictured with the gold (not gold chrome) helmet, and a simple, clean purple jersey, minus the goofy gold piping. I'd call it the "classic" and wear it twice a year, and for any Rose Bowl (or Orange, Fiesta, etc.) We can get funky with other combos for the other games - provided we retire the chrome helmet. Nothing matches and the color balance is different for the helmet, jersey, and pants. (And they don't come together to look greater as a whole, unlike, say, Ole Miss.)
