They wore the grey alternates last time they played in Seattle in 2013

Actually, now that I think about it, I think you're right. Those jerseys didn't look very white, but I thought it was just the lights. The game started at eight PM.

I cannot display in enough words how much white jerseys at home utterly disgust me. If there is no Georgia Tech level precedent, YOU SHOULD NOT DO IT

Really? Not LSU?

To be fair, Texh probably wears white more often at home than LSU. LSU always wears purple for at least one or tw games. I can think of maybe six games under Johnson where Tech has not worn white (same before Gailey.)

how does this make them dumb?
Acting like schoolgirls in front of Justin Bieber for a somewhat "trendy" alternate helmet?

Attending school and playing football for the University of Arizona is enough to convince me that they're dumb.

Doesn't ASU not reject anyone?

Yes that's why I said GT LEVEL of precedent. Just the first one that came to mind, just all that actually wear white St home normally

I would disagree on the basis that the Arizona primary logo is one of the coolest in college.

It's instantly recognizable and as the basketball team has the word mark , the football teams helmet is the flag bearer for that logo.

They need to just turn back to the Bruschi Era uniforms and I'll put them in the upper echelon of West coast college football threads.

Even though it would be hopping on the trend train, i'd love for them to use that alternate helmet they showed with these jerseys

I miss those UW gold pants. They look great as pictured with the gold (not gold chrome) helmet, and a simple, clean purple jersey, minus the goofy gold piping. I'd call it the "classic" and wear it twice a year, and for any Rose Bowl (or Orange, Fiesta, etc.)

We can get funky with other combos for the other games - provided we retire the chrome helmet. It is so 2014.

Uhh idk about that statement considering we won the Pac 12 south last year, not long line of history but we're on the way up.

I understand that. Perhaps the dude I was actually replying to did not.

Utah Utes will be having a "Whiteout" game vs Oregon:

Memphis Tigers Uniform Combo for tomorrow night:

Texas San Antonio new Navy jersey:

Miami Hurricanes new NOB:

Finally, an improved NOB look for Miami (Fla) compared to the other NOBs that was likely designed by a preschooler. Maybe there is hope for Adidas yet (I said maybe not definitely).

I'm hoping they'll slowly change one design element every few games so that by bowl season they'll just look like the Sapp-era uniforms:

Wow easily one of the best BCS uniforms that should've been kept.

Miami did so many wonderful things in that garb. Get rid of the stripes while you're at it.

imo the Sapp-era Canes uniforms are one of the most overrated in college football history. Nothing matches and the color balance is different for the helmet, jersey, and pants. (And they don't come together to look greater as a whole, unlike, say, Ole Miss.) Totally nostalgia-driven, and thankfully I have no nostalgia for them.

Other than the mismatching stripes on the white elements, what is wrong with the color balance on them?

There have been rumors that Indiana would have red pants in their wardrobe again this year. With this weekend being the first road game (at Wake Forest), I have to wonder if this will be the game where they are debuted. It was an awfully, awfully good look.
