Colorado's blackout sure looks good running in that touchdown... err.. wait a sec.

Sad state of affairs when ASU looks more like Colorado than Colorado.

Neither team looks like Colorado here.

At a glance, I would've said maybe Missouri vs... I dunno, maybe Oregon? Because when ever a team wears basically black and white, and you can't tell who they are quickly, I just figure Oregon.

Pics of Mississippi State's new (old) gray pants:

Those pants are 1000x better than their normal white pants with the one logo on the leg:

Wow I didn't realize how much better the stripes look on the New Jersey template.

I still hate how warped adidas pants stripes get, especially when they have a hip logo. Ruins the pants.

Hopefully we'll see this combo sometime this year:

Yeah, the sleeve caps on the Primeknit template have really helped teams like Nebraksa and Mississippi State with sleeve stripes. On the other hand, the new template distorts Texas A&M's stripes, which previously never had to go over a seam.

I thought I was looking at an old Big 12 game with Mizzou. I prefer college teams wearing their traditional school or athletic colors.

Arizona State apparently wants their colors to be copper/yellow/black/white/anthracite .. dont think they have worn maroon once this season

Colorado going all silver this Saturday for their Homecoming.

I know Colorado is being ridiculed a little for their lack of looking like Colorado, but I think Nike did a great job on the uniforms. All of it looks really sharp. I'm sure this homecoming uniform may look worse on the field, but it looks great in this picture.

Twice so far. Home opener they wore G/M/G like they always to to open the year vs Cal Poly and all maroon for the USC game. Both were terrible games for them.

UT in the smoky gray today

Tennessee looks awful.

The jersey I could do without but I absolutely love that helmet -- it might be my favorite. I guess without the matching jerseys the helmet doesn't really have a place, though.

The helmet looks a lot shinier than the promo pics portrayed.

Also you couldn't clearly see the "layers" on the TV. ALthough I suspect that's actually intentional and is referencing the the thick smog that tends to hover around the smokies s/

Go Big Gre

As a Tennesse fan I hope that we only pull these out once a year. I can't take much more than that. Go Big Gray?

In a world in which every team has multiple alternates, many of which completely unnecessary, it's always refreshing to see teams stick to their normal looks, a la Auburn, Alabama, Texas, etc.

But it's also equally refreshing, at least for me, to see a team stick to one alternate and not mix and match it (so far), like Tennessee. I hate the adidas greys, but Nike did a much better job, especially with adding the grey helmet. Once, maybe twice, a year would be good. Don't over kill it, UT. Everyone else has.

"I believe in Auburn and love it!"
