FFWally
I created a mascot for the High School my son attends a year ago, and now the local AD's are on me to create something unique for them. The problem is we are in Gonzaga territory, and I am trying to avoid anything that resembles that logo or the Georgia Bulldogs. Every example I can find either looks like a T shirt caricature or its rabid. or one of those two designs. now this one resembles the mid 90's Georgia logo to a point, and is my first effort at morphing their 1930's hand drawn Bulldog that has become challenged. I know this one has issues, and Im looking for some creative direction to give them what they are asking for.The first image is what the district came up with after 4 monthsJabba the HutThe next one is their old Logo (right one) and an early working designAnd the third is what I have come up with so far. Thanks for critique, direction etc.... hockeyny13
this is a local high school from m area's bulldog logo, if you based your bulldog off just the head maybe it'd be better. right now yours just looks not mean enough or almost too soft and rounded. Thecargeek
Was just gonna say you should separate the eyes, but you already did that.Looks a lot better, for some reason I feel like the right sided sag doesn't seem equal, at least through my eyes. Is because of the angle?
Thecargeek
Also curve the teeth a bit, and give it some texture, or shadow. Found this image on the internet, you can see how the bottom of the teeth look, also the shading on it.Try to create that.EDIT: Here's another image of the teeth when the mouth is closed. FFWally
OK this is minus the PASCO and less shading on the body. Teeth will be more curved with some shading as wellWas just gonna say you should separate the eyes, but you already did that.Looks a lot better, for some reason I feel like the right sided sag doesn't seem equal, at least through my eyes. Is because of the angle?Yes, its head is cocked just a little and that makes the left cheek look a little short. FFWally
Reminds me of the TCU logonot quite intentionally, but... the funny thing is I was always very pro using just the frog or just the arched TCU, but I pretty much love it together now. Still, it started off a little more LSU, but the head didnt work so well small, so I expanded it, and it became more TCU. sparkychewbarky
OK this is minus the PASCO and less shading on the body. It's looking good Wally.Make the lines on the teeth as "strong" as the rest of the lines. The top of the black nose could use a grey highlight to make it stand out a bit and separate it from the black of the eyes. *The Battle of Seattle
