The bell notification logo on the top used to have a small red box with the number of notifications of posts from threads that I followed. Now the small red box with the number only tells me if someone liked or quoted one of my posts and I get emailed about posted from threads I follow. This is pretty cluttered: I think it's the placement of the "Quote" plus and text that's doing it for me. That used to be right aligned, right? It just seems like I'm supposed to push that to see the rest of a post or something; it's adding more clutter on each post. The resizing is a bold move design wise, but I think it really helps your brand to stand out from the background a bit better. It's also fitting considering the Canadian influence we have here. BBTV Posted January 20, 2016 Share Posted January 20, 2016 On iPhone the posts only use half the screen. I have to pinch and expand in order to view the posts. Edit: apparently it's not all threads. This one displays half screen but some others are full. Also so is there a need for full forum descriptions on the main page of mobile? The banner and first forum link consume nearly all the screen due to the description. Heres some screen shots of how cluttered it is. Also, iPhonr typing short cuts seem to work only some times (for example I can't use space bar to type a period right now but some times I can). in short - the mobile experience has (so far) been degraded. -major kudos for the image upload from phone feature though. That's good. Now that circular avatars are gone (always a bad idea) I really like the member title area next to each post. I don't really use my phone on here and it's weird to me that would be someone's primary device for these boards so not really worried about how any of the changes affect mobile. I quite often use a combination of the join date and post count to weigh up whether or not somebody is a quality poster worth taking the time to read or just someone who comments because they can. I also think having the rep points score as visible as it is now may affect the way people post as they try to score points rather than add value to the discussion.
