We've had ads here for a while. There's no need for this specific style of ad. No need for it to be so large.

So you're willing to cover whatever revenue would be lost by shrinking those ads?  I'm sure Chris and Yzerfan would be happy to chat with you about that.

It's where I sit.

On my lunch break, tried to take a peak at the WWE thread, and its blocked as pornography?

Perhaps 'cause "One Night in Chyna" had recently been mentioned ??

PLEASE get these sponsored headlines off the bottom of the page, all of them are either things that I definitely don't want to see or that I don't care about, which makes them annoying. I understand the site needs to make money, but there has got to be a better way to do it.

Guessing you don't understand how ads work. You don't get revenue when people don't scroll down to them (as I have been. These ads are more than I feel comfortable having shown on my computer screen, especially in class). Also, most ads - like the majority on this site - are responsive and change determining on your search history and such. These are static.

Change it out to a responsive ad like what's on the rest of the site and it's all good.

"I believe in Auburn and love it!"

I totally understand the ads and whatever generates revenue to keep the boards up and running. However, the borderline-pornographic pics are a bit much and could get those who check from work or school in some trouble.

I'm sure I had this one come up: "14 people who DIED after taking stupid selfies!"

Yeah, because that makes for pleasant early morning reading.

Also I noticed the mobile site sometimes highlights posts with a flag. I tapped one to see what it does, and almost accidentally reported a post. D'oh.

Worse still, the picture used for that link clearly wasn't a selfie at all.

We really need to talk about this. The picture with the lady hanging over the waterfall has her hair down in one shot, and up in the selfie (or vice-versa maybe). It's like you can't even trust these people!

For some reason these just started appearing to me today.

Got a a nice surprise at work when scantily clad mail-order Russian women appeared on my screen with messages explaining why Slavic girls make the best lovers or something like that.

Granted, they were attractive, but I'll be restricting my daytime use to mobile only (which means when I'm pooping) until this is resolved - which is probably a good thing, because even without the ads I probably shouldn't be on the site at work anyway!

I wonder if there's a way to get around that, but I can't think of one.

ublock origin, and/or ghostery for web browsers.  No known way of getting around it on mobile.
