The Blue Jays love it.

Even in games when a Canadian is batting, they put a maple leaf next to their name when their picture is on the Jumbotron.

Nats over the Mariners in 6, and Major League Baseball becomes the first major professional league in the states to have every single active team play in the championship round at least once.

Why even make baseball predictions, anymore? We all know how things will turn out, eventually:

He'd fit right in as the Dodgers' setup man.

I can't even name their closer, much less a setup man.

Melvin "Player Formerly Known As BJ" Upton and Craig Kimbrel are allegedly headed to San Diego in exchange for Cameron Maybin and Carlos Quentin.

What in the world are you thinking, Hotlanta?

Pretty much knew that you'd have to attach a bone to get a team to agree to take on BJ Upton and his contract (assuming the Braves aren't picking up much-to-any of his deal), nor does having a lights-out closer do you much good if you're not going to contend this season.

Not sure how those prospects grade out. Don't think Quentin or Maybin have much left. But getting the 41st pick in draft is nice.

Uuuuummmmm... Why?

EDIT: Also, the Padres are killin' it this offseason, even when it's only an hour until the start of the season.
