This sucks

It was a great year for the Mets, they just need to learn and get better. Love our future, cant beat a team that has five great starting pitchers now if we can field the ball and not face a team that is a mosquito with the foul off and two strike hits. Never seen a team like these Royals individually they are a .500 team, but they just did everything right and deserved it.

Considering your record of rage posting this is a surprisingly honest assessment, I maybe think they're slightly better as individuals than you're giving them credit for but on the whole I agree.

EDIT

I just saw the Kansas City Royals win the World Series. For years they were for me the embodiment of irrelevant small-market pro sports franchise that would never be competitive. They were just in the league to fill out the schedule and sure they had some good years in the 70's and 80's, but that was 1,000 years ago and the product of a different era. As far as I was concerned there was no need to be concerned with the Kansas City Royals. This is basically the equivalent of the Florida Panthers winning the Stanley Cup.

I guess my point is anybody can win it all. There are no excuses anymore.

Just gonna quote this because it's spot on.

Gonna second this

It's like the Golden State Warriors and Seattle Seahawks winning championships, which also happened. So step right up, Presented By Party City!

Congrats to the Royals! This truly has been a very fun team to watch. They've earned it in every way.

Or did the Astros choke it away?

The Royals' persistent comebacks throughout the whole postseason altogether are much more telling of a team knowing how to win than being merely choke benefactors.

Houston may have melted down in epic fashion, but that doesn't change the fact that Kansas City did all they needed to do and more to win from that point forwards. They earned it.

I will copy the email I just sent to Rush Limbaugh

Im very depressed Rush but I am happy for you. Glad you can enjoy baseball again, the Royals deserved it.

Lets Go Mets 2016 let it be our turn.

Royals won in 1985 Mets won in 1986 lets get a repeat.

Oh dear God. You didn't. Did you?

Hes a Royal fan and sitting next to George Brett in all likelyhood. I email Rush all the time.

That makes me sad, Frank - and not for any political reasons.

Especially since he's never eaten KC burnt ends.

Whats that

Reading this makes me sad.

New Jersey and New York does a lot of foods well.

Hot Dogs

Pizza

Hamburgers

Pastrami

Steak

Barbque not so much its like expecting good Pizza from Kansas City they think Pizza Hut is good. :P

Hot Dogs = A slurry of beef/pork/chicken parts.

Hamburgers = Ground beef.

Pastrami= A brisket flat which dreams to be a burnt end.

Anyone can do "steak"

He will get a big pay day from an American League team. Nightmare scenario he ends up in the Bronx his swing will hit 35 homers in Yankee Stadium and become a DH when A-Rod retires.

Mets pitching needs good fielders they just need to score 4 runs and they can win most games. So you can put a Dilson Herrera at second if you are a have a strong lineup 1-7 and at 21 who is to say Herrera does not become a good hitter in a year or two.

I wasn't able to watch the game. What did Murphy do?

Made another error in extra innings leading to a situation in which everything that could go wrong did.

In all seriousness, such an awesome feeling that the team from my ancestral homeland pulled it out, and especially awesome that they won it the year I was able to visit the city and the K.

Woah there buddy, this is Daniel Murphy we're talkin about here, not Jason Giambi.

He's basically the less tolerant version of Marco Scutaro/Cody Ross.

I mean, somebody stupid is gonna pay him (D Backs, if I had to guess), but it's not going to be successful.

He may hit enough homers in Yankee Stadium to be a good signing, but he is 31 next opening day and this is the best hes ever been.

He had 14 homers in the regular season a career high and he is a .280 lifetime hitter, but slow on the bases and 15-20 errors a year.
