Interesting stat of the day: With 398 career home runs, Miguel Cabrera is two away from breaking Andres Galarraga's record for Venezuelan players and Al Kaline's franchise record for the Detroit Tigers.

Miggy hit a bunch with the Marlins; he's still got a bit to go to catch Kaline.

So, how about Gregory Polanco, huh?

The Giants are on fire in tonight's game in Cincinnati. At the same time, so was one of the smokestacks past center field at Great American Ball Park.

It's a good game. I'm DVRing it.

Cabrera is a beast. 400 HR's. Congrats, Miguel. You make ALL of us proud.

Nope.
Who's us?

Proud baseball fans. Cabrera is one of the greatest players to walk the face of the Earth-and I am privileged to watch history. Witnessing greatness.

I want championships!

Dude, enough with the hyperbole. You're like Buzzfeed, if the website became a person.

Look man, if I want to loathe baseball fans I'll just hit up Viva El Birdos. This is a sanctuary from that place.
