masterchaoss Posted May 22, 2015 Share Posted May 22, 2015 Have you seen how kemp is doing in San Diego, it's not pretty, same with Hanley in Boston. The Dodgers made the right choice letting them go, and while jimmy hasn't been the best hitter his defense is miles better than Hanley. Prior to this week the Dodgers had the greatest offensive numbers by any team in a long time. They hit a slump against a good defensive Giants team they will be fine. Kershaw is GOD! Kershaw is LIFE! I definitely don't expect to see them finish ahead of the Dodgers because they're a goddamn juggernaut, but I'll take 6-0 vs the Dodgers (including a full shutout thrown in there) at home and 7-2 overall heading into June. They're also back-to-back NL West champions and have one of the best rotations in baseball. I absolutely hate the bums but let's not downplay their abilities THAT much. The event, Thursday's $100-per-head Fish 'N Chips Casino Party, lured fans of the team by offering an open bar, various casino games and the chance to "rub elbows" with their favorite Marlins players, coaches and alumni. When none of those parties showed up, however, fans were left with blackjack tables and Billy The Marlin. The team said Thursday that players' attendance at the event was not mandatory, according to the report.
