martymcfry
Any bay area or west coast Teams commingI don't think you realize how these boards work, this is a fictional country, he probably won't do WC or Bay Area team. Can you PLEASE stop requesting people to do certain teams.I'd like to see that happen too. Way too many of your posts (biscuit faces of them) are a request. Forum guideline here:*Please refrain from "requesting" that a user do a specific team, idea of yours, league, etc. If those working on a concept or within a concept series want input for other team or league ideas, they will more than likely say so in the thread. For example, if I'm doing a series on UEFA nations, don't comment that you'd like to see me tackle CAF next or if I'm doing a fictional soccer league, don't comment asking if I can make a concept for a team in Boise. Designers, if you would like to solicit input on other projects and/or teams you should tackle, please let that be known in your OP or somewhere along the line in the thread. Other users, when posting in the concepts forum, please stick to giving constructive C&C to the topic at hand rather than asking the artist to do what you want him/her to next. These rules aren't here for no reason. Please pay attention to them.

TheGiantsFan
These look great! Can't wait to see more! I got to go to the AL Wild Card game and game 2 of the WS.Thanks!Surely some great games you attended, indeed (except probably Game 2 for a Giants fan like me. Game 6 was just simply Royals batting practice. Man, I am loving this series. I love the variety in your teams, you gave the monarchs a simple set, then followed it with a very out there kit for Mt. Lee United, and they both looked amazing! That's five great looking teams, and by my count, you've only repeated one color shade. It'll be difficult to keep differences between all the teams you're doing, but I think you just might pull it off. Well done!Thank you! Glad you like the variety! However, I think I'll be running into a few color scheme issues as this series goes on, but I surely got you all that could help! Any bay area or west coast Teams commingAs this is a purely fictional country, there will not be any Bay Area teams. Plenty of West Coast (not of the United States) coming, though! The home kit looks great! I love the striping, it reminds me of the White Caps home kit.Glad you like it!Frankly, I had not know of that Whitecaps jersey's existence until you mentioned it here. Haha. It does look nice, though! Any bay area or west coast Teams commingI don't think you realize how these boards work, this is a fictional country, he probably won't do WC or Bay Area team. It is very annoying. Please stop posting.I don't wanna be involved in all this, but I have indeed noticed biscuit's posts; it's getting kinda annoying constantly piggybacking on others' concepts to advertise yours (which I honestly think are way too rushed and need vast improvements). That's all I gotta say about that matter.Great Great job Daryl! The crest is shaped like a poker chip, with spades and palms (for Larfa's status as a gambling and beach city) inside it along with the team name. Although sports and gambling is a very bad combo, it certainly provided great design inspiration (Another gambling-inspired design is coming sometime soon). The jerseys are very simplistic, with the home being a red jersey with white shorts with the clash being a white jersey and red black shorts. In 2014, Larfa SC became the first club in the AFS to be supplied by Umbro, followed by several other teams making the switch in 2015 and 2016. The sponsor seems to follow the design trend for Larfa SC, as the famed Simplicity Hotel & Casino lending its name to the front of the jersey.~ DarylEDIT 2/9: Replaced the red-on-white Larfa clash jersey with a black-on-white jersey, as per popular demand BEHANCE | PORTFOLIO
martymcfry
"simpicity" is a good sponsor for such sets. I really like it though! Are numbers on pants a normal thing in soccer? I'm new to this so I thought since I'm doing a soccer league right now I should probably ask.
Spartan24898
If you're going all out for a gambling theme, I'm not sure how well a simple look fits that idea, but it looks amazing anyway. This might be impossible depending on how big you are making your concepts (I know that small objects are sometimes really difficult), but I didn't originally see palm trees in the logo until I read the description, I think they could have benefited from a longer trunk. Again, VERY minor things, overall it's another fantastic set. Star championship signature credit to packerfan21396
CyGuy5
Those kits look great! Very simple, Yet they look very good! The only thing I would have maybe liked to see more of would be a little more of the gambling theme with the uniforms. Still, these are pretty good! dolphins91
Maybe add some checkerboard striping on there. These are all extremely awesome, and so are the baseball and basketball concepts. Also, will you do a football league anytime, because that would be really cool.
mamiller99
This looks really good! The chip badge is genius. I'd like to see more black, because half of the deck is under a black suit. That's what- She
rykochristie
Love the simplicity of the jerseys! I do agree with Miller, however, in saying that there could be some more black incorporated in to the jersey. Just a note, Abelard colors are Smooth Navy and gold (in case you needed an idea on what team they could sponsor). I don't mean to a hypocrite and request anything, but are you doing a team in the Alton city of Gallinne? I'd love to see that concept! I'm new to this so I thought since I'm doing a soccer league right now I should probably ask.More than glad you like the simplicity of the Larfa sets!As for the numbers and crests and stuff on the shorts, I think they're an actual thing in soccer. Honestly, I based my soccer series off of other soccer concept series on this forum and not actually watching real-life soccer. But from all the concepts I've seen, there are indeed numbers and crests on the shorts. If you're going all out for a gambling theme, I'm not sure how well a simple look fits that idea, but it looks amazing anyway. Again, VERY minor things, overall it's another fantastic set. Thanks! Trust me, this next team (the other gambling-themed team so far in my league) has a less simplistic look than Larfa, so that's that. As for the whole palm tree thing, I wanted to match it with the symbols on cards, so I made the trunk shorter to match the spade. Those kits look great! Very simple, Yet they look very good! The only thing I would have maybe liked to see more of would be a little more of the gambling theme with the uniforms. Still, these are pretty good!Thank you! As I stated just above, Larfa is the simpler of the two gambling-related teams here, while this next team is the less simple team identity.Maybe add some checkerboard striping on there. These are all extremely awesome, and so are the baseball and basketball concepts. Also, will you do a football league anytime, because that would be really cool.Hmm, I honestly don't know how I'd relate a checkerboard pattern to a gambling theme (checkers, maybe...?), but I'll certainly incorporate a checkerboard pattern to other teams in the future.Glad you like my baseball and basketball threads! Football concepts I don't really see myself getting into, though. I just never found myself interested in football in general. This looks really good! The chip badge is genius. I'd like to see more black, because half of the deck is under a black suit.Love the simplicity of the jerseys! I don't mean to a hypocrite and request anything, but are you doing a team in the Alton city of Gallinne? I'd love to see that concept!Upon your guys' request, I changed all the red on the Larfa clash jersey to black. Fortunately, it wasn't too hard of an edit. As I have already done with several of the jersey sponsors in this series so far, I could easily change the colors of a logo to better match a color scheme, so your Abelard sponsorship could practically go for any team that I have (I will have it for a future city deeply rooted in the auto industry, though). And I actually have two teams for Gallinne in my league, Gallinne Athletic and SC Gallinne. Any ideas that you'd like for one (or maybe even both!) I could probably consider...--------------------------------------------------------------League IIIReynold Beach SCReynold Beach, BayshoreFounded: 1995Last Relegated: 2009Championships: 0Reynold Beach SC is Larfa SC's flashier cousin in League III. Both cities are very similar, as both are casino cities located right on the waterfront. While Larfa SC goes for the whole card/poker chip motif, RBSC goes for the slot machine motif, with its unique rectangular crest shaped as a "bar" of a slot machine. "Lights" adorn the top and bottom of the crest while "Reynold Beach SC" is written vertically (though not too legibly, admittedly) on the sides of the crest. The jerseys for RBSC sure are something. Taking inspiration from y'all's comments about Larfa's simplicity, I decided to take it up a notch for RBSC. The home jersey, with my first-ever attempt at coloring gradient patterns, has stripes that echoes the many slot machines inside the city's casinos. The clash jersey goes out of the casino and highlights the city's "brightness" in the nightscape, with the vertical stripe in a very simplified version of the shape of the peninsula the city sits on. The kits are supplied by Adidas and the sponsor is the Reynold Beach Tourism Bureau.Enjoy!~ Daryl BEHANCE | PORTFOLIO
rykochristie
Daryl you are a drawing concept wizard! As for the Gallinne teams, I would keep both rather simple, since Gallinne (correct me if I'm wrong) is somewhat rural, but you could definitely work some industrial motifs in to the concept. Can't wait to see more of your stuff man! Fear the future, envy the past

Will you be drawing stadiums for soccer too?Could Ranola be a sponsor as well?Unfortunately, I will not be drawing stadiums for soccer, just because of the time it takes me (nowadays, up to several months) and the fact that I have a 95-team league. Maybe, just maybe I could do a few stadiums if I really want to, but I wouldn't count on it. Ranola could surely be a sponsor to a future team! Amazing this is a hand dawn series it looks greatThank you!Reynold Beach SC sure is interesting. Just wondering, are you doing the teams in any particular order? Thanks!I'm not really doing these teams in any particular order, honestly. For these first few teams, I've already sketched out crests prior to starting this series, and I'm close to depleting this first batch. I'll probably start sketching new teams soon. I hate gradients on most sports jerseys, but they look great on soccer uniforms. It fits this team well, and you did a great job drawing it. That's a very interesting stripe on the clash, don't think I've seen anything quite like that.I do agree that soccer is the only sport where gradients look good in. Glad you liked my first attempt at a fading gradient design! As for the stripe on the clash, the peninsula that Reynold Beach sits on was just calling for it to happen! Haha...Those home uniforms are beautiful! Really love the color combination and the logo!Thank you, sir! BeautifulThank you!-----------------------------------------------------------------------League ISC of SunsetSunset, CoastaniaFounded: 1923Last Promoted: 2001Championships: 2SC of Sunset is the first of the six teams in the Greater Los Altos Metropolitan Area. Sunset is also the capital city of the State of Coastania. Inspiration for this team's identity came, very simply, from the city's name. The crest (in Art Deco style) shows a sun setting over the ocean and the yellow "sky". The home jersey is a gradient design (those ain't going away anytime soon!) evoking a sunset. The design for the home jersey also matches the Coastania license plates, digitally reproduced by 1clkgtramg here. The clash jersey takes on the turquoise, "water" part of the team's identity, with water "ripples" over a black background. The kits are supplied by Nike and Air Los Altos, one of the major Alton airlines, has this team's sponsorship. Before I close this post, I can kindly open this thread to any design ideas/inspirations for teams that any of you guys may have, as I've kinda hit a small "dry spell" in terms of ideas, and I still have well over 80 teams left to go. Any ideas for future teams (team locations and names are already fairly set, though) and obviously sponsorships are more than welcome!~ Daryl BEHANCE | PORTFOLIO
