TheGiantsFan
Sweet mercy. That is 10 times more complex than what I had in mind but it is yet ANOTHER outstanding concept of yours. Thanks for using my idea!Like I said I love German soccer so these teams are my jam. I also love all of your gradients, they always look perfectNo problem! Just curious, what was you original idea?Glad you liked Killeen and its gradients (and every other gradient design I've done so far)! Well I had to catch up on this thread, and man. They have all been great! I love what you have done with these, and I can't wait to see your next series I do hope you go back to your baseball thread Glad you've been liking all the stuff you have originally missed! I'm kinda considering doing a revisitation of my baseball thread, but that's not at the highest of my priorities after this series, as I have the next soccer series to deal with. Thanks for your concerns, though! You are the master of hand drawn gradients my friendhttps://media1.giphy.com/media/U1XhGr8CWqvVC/200_s.gifThanks, guys! Haha...-----------------------------------------------------------------------------League IIValle Buena UnitedValle Buena, ValestiaFounded: 1938Last Promoted: 2004Last Relegated: 2009Championships: 0I had no idea what to do for Valle Buena for the longest time. However, I decided that this could be a city known for the movie industry and the like. And so I present the identity of Valle Buena United. All the crest really is is "Valle Buena" stamped onto a shape that is a ticket stub at the top and a rounded edge at the bottom, with "Utd." inside the rounded part. And yes, I did notice that the bottom was uneven with the top, but it was too late to make any changes then. I decided that a light gold/navy blue color combo would work best for a team identity inspired by the movie industry. The home kit is a very simple light gold/navy blue/white jersey, with an alternate "VB" crest instead of the normal team crest. The clash kit is a white kit, to avoid possible similarities to other teams in the central part of Los Altos, with a film strip motif lining the center piping. The kits are supplied by Galuken and the sponsor is Miller Entertainment, more popularly known as Millenter (sorry to keep you waiting for so long, mamiller99!).~ Daryl BEHANCE | PORTFOLIOÂ Â

TheGiantsFan
Hey man, it's all good! Love the film strip stripping. Very clean look.Glad you liked your team, my friend! It was fun working with the color scheme as well as the film theme~League IIBahia de Santiago SCPuerta Loma, TaftFounded: 1925Last Promoted: 1999Last Relegated: 2015Championships: 5Santiago Bay has its two soccer superpowers, Real Santiago and Bahia de Santiago. Although Bahia has more championships (five compared to Real's three), Bahia, due to poor management in recent years, have suffered a drastic collapse from the higher echelons of League I to the upper half of League II. With new management, Bahia has slowly been re-emerging, hoping to get back into League I within two seasons. As for the crest, I wanted a Spanish-style triangle crest for this team. Real does use red in their color scheme, Bahia embraces it fully in their identity, with a popular nickname for them being "Los Rojos". The pattern in the crest is taken from the flag of Santiago Bay (though the team nowadays plays in the Santiago Bay suburb of Puerta Loma ["hill port"]), with the five championships represented by not one gold star but four stars around the team name and one inside the soccer ball within the team name. The home kit is the Santiago Bay flag (which is sorta styled like the red portions of the Maryland state flag), with the design causing a very awkward square in the back of the jersey to accommodate the number and NOB. The clash kit is a more simple red-and-black jersey. The kits are supplied by Adidas and the sponsor is Vacos Computers (shoutout to reebokNFL for the sponsorship suggestion).Up next, the Club Deportivo de San Juan! Thanks for the sponsorship and good luck on the other teams!Glad you liked Bahia! I was kinda iffy about the home kit, especially the back, but I'm glad you liked how it turned out! And thanks! The Spanish-style crest looks 100% authentic too. You have a lot to be proud of with this series!Glad you liked Bahia, my friend! And some of my reference pictures (namely Football as Football and the mothership's La Liga page) really helped me gain that authentic Spanish style. This series was certainly fun to work with, and I'll (soon enough) carry these ideas into the real world in my upcoming series... -------------------------------------------------------------------League IICD de San JuanSan Juan, ValestiaFounded: 1977Last Promoted: 2008Last Relegated: N/AGoing through the Internet and I researched some of the symbols of Saint John (the actual saint), and the eagle happened to be one of them. Originally, I had wanted to go for a Crystal Palace flying eagle crest, but then I stumbled upon this formerly proposed Crystal Palace crest and decided I can play on that for the San Juan crest. As for the crest of the Club Deportivo de San Juan, it was decided on by a fan vote in the 1990s, and has stuck ever since, mostly because the team had no real previous success to build an identity on. The team's colors, light orange and neon green, are 90s versions of the Alton national colors. The home kit is a simple neon green/white hooped jersey with orange sleeves and green trim. The clash kit is a neon green jersey with orange lines meant to represent the wings of an eagle. The kits are supplied by Puma and the sponsor is Bancoyan (Banco de las Llanuras [Plains]*).* In Alton Spanish, the "ll" is often changed to "y" so that the country's English speakers wouldn't pronounce it wrong~ Daryl BEHANCE | PORTFOLIOÂ Â

And, seeing from Google pics of them, that the league does have some bright color schemes in there! To try to make Bahia as authentically Spanish as possible, I did have several reference pictures from Spanish leagues to help make this identity. Valle Buena is actually one of my favorites in this league, mostly because of the color scheme and the film theme. And on your thread, I'm assuming...? The crest is awesome! Great set!The crest is AMAZING and the colors make it even betterTo be honest with you guys, I didn't feel all too confident about the crest because of the awkward wordmarks at the top of the crest, so I had to make the kits look good to counterbalance the (in my opinion) not-so-good crest. Campbell has a very classic look, with the colors and the pattern on the crest taken from the Campbell coat of arms I found on the Internet. The crest is fairly self-explanatory, with "Campbell" on a white diagonal band and an "ACC" monogram on the upper left corner. The home kit I originally considered doing some kinda hooped design for it, but then I realized that the diagonal band on the crest translated very well on a jersey. But I'm glad you liked it! I felt that the home and clash are different enough to work, so I'm leaving it at that. With that said, I wanted to incorporate both parts of the city name ("Colina del Sur" is Spanish for "southern hill") into the crest, and here's how I did it: the lines at the top of the crest evoke mountains through styles you'd see in local Native populations and the bottom part of the crest is supposed to be a rounded chevron pointing south. The style of this crest is partly inspired by the Vancouver Whitecaps logo. The home kit is a very simple brown/light blue jersey while the clash kit puts white into the same design as the home. TheGiantsFan
Looks good! Like what you did with the uniforms! Can't wait to see your team from Shelton!Thank you! As far as Shelton goes, I have a desert plants motif in mind, but I'm not sure how to pull it off yet. If you possibly have any design suggestions for Shelton, a desert casino city, it would be greatly appreciated! The diagonal line at the top is clean and nice-looking but idk about the little line on the waistband... Just a little nitpick. Overall, it looks nice. The diagonal line at the top is actually part of the jersey piping itself, and the design just fills it in. As for the line on the waistband, I decided to add it in there just because, really... Glad you still liked Colina, though! ------------------------------------------------------------------------League IIIAstor IndependenceAstor, AlceaFounded: 2003Last Relegated: N/AChampionships: 0Astor is famous for the place where Altons declared their independence from Great Britain in 1764 (the Constitution was drafted a year later in Henderson). I also liked the approach the Charlotte Independence took in their team name and whatnot, so I brought that to this town in the Alton Northwest. All Astor's crest really is is a version of the Alton national seal with "Independence" on a white "scroll", a band containing the orange and green, an "AI" monogram logo, six stars representing the first 6 states of the Alton Republic, and the independence year of 1764. To be honest with y'all, these kits I was pretty uninspired in doing because 1) I'm kinda dry on nationalistic design ideas and 2) I didn't want this team to look too much like other League III teams. Also, I honestly put more effort on the crest than I did these kits. With that said, the home kit is a gold, vertical stripe with orange and green stripes (coloring matches the national flag) beside it while the clash kit is an orange/green design. The kits are supplied by Adidas and the sponsor is C2 (which was also chrisclement's suggestion for the baseball stadium in nearby Alcea City).~ Daryl BEHANCE | PORTFOLIOÂ Â
rykochristie
I like the detail in the crest and the color scheme, but again, a minor nitpick- on the home kit, the vertical strip seems extremely busy with the manufacturer, crest and sponsor all stacked-up on each other. That being said I like how the C2 sponsors meets at the divide between the scarlet and green. It's another very nice look overall. CyGuy5
looks amazing! Love the logo, and I love what you did with te uniforms!
