dolphins91
looking at it, it looks like the old orange. I think you're right. I think this is actually just a couple older alternates hanging (maybe to mess with people). The oranges are clearly much different, and I'm thinking the drop shadow on the number looks more like the last iteration's.That is definitely the former alternate jersey. The material is shiny, it is the old orange, old number font and drop shadow. Perhaps it is just a little hint that is orange, which I would love. mafiaman
There is more orange on the bill of the hat than there is on that entire Dolphins jersey...

phutmasterflex
Here's a video of the process of lettering the draft jerseys.I was about to post this video too. Adhesive. Not even stitched on. So it's pretty inexpensive and quick. Go A's!
BBTV
So then do they have each potential pick done up in each team's font ahead of time? Like that Shelton one was already all put togehter in the Browns font. Did they have a Shelton in the Eagles font too? They certainly don't have enough time to piece it together letter by letter on the transparent adhesive thingy. FiddySicks
I figured the heat press was how they did that. I've worked on those machines quite a bit for work, and they're really simple to use. I used to press the names and numbers on the back of jerseys for the Seattle Sounders and the whole process took about a minute to complete. Once you master how to properly lay out everything it's a piece of cake to do. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) El Scorcho
I see alot of complaints about the orange in the Dolphins uniforms but I personally think the amount of orange is just fine. They have one of the best uniforms in the league in my opinion. As a Dolphins fan, I'm not sure if we quite have one of the best uniforms in the league, but it's definitely a terrific uniform, and adding orange to it wouldn't improve it, anywhere.I don't think sleeve stripes would work well on the dolphins design at all, for 2 reasons1) The difference between player cut jerseys and retails which causes issues for a lot of teams.2) The Dolphins are already super bright and colourful because of their colours. Adding design elements is just going to make the whole thing look a bit garish. Keeping it simple and letting the bright colours be the feature means slick uniforms and a huge upgrade over what they replaced.
aawagner011
Tom Garfinkel says the new jersey didn't leak in that photo and that despite what was originally said about the May 13th reveal, all will be revealed tomorrow at noon.https://twitter.com/TomGarfinkel/status/596835965315874816?s=
dolphingator1
I literally may not be able to sleep tonight over the prospect that I will soon be able to buy a Miami Dolphins 1970-72 Aqua Jersey with the wider orange border sewn-on twill numbers and stripeless sleeves, which the team will wear in London against the Jets and on MNF against the Giants, both of which now wear similar uniforms to that era. And if the Dolphins win both games, I will have photographs of them winning against every team in the NFL in both home and away primary uniform colors. The Dream lives. Make this happen. WSU151
Dolphins' alternate will be a 1966 throwback jersey. The formal unveiling will happen in July. I'm guessing it will be the aqua version,as the team normally wears aqua for night home games. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half. Jt0323
kind of a disappointment
aawagner011
Called it. Only disappointment for me is that they said it will be worn only once this season. In my opinion, this is much more preferable to a blue or orange jersey. This was the pic they used at the announcement.

lcgreig03
I'd been hearing rumors that the Dolphins new jersey would be navy, so this is a relief. This is a better look than their current set, which is just fine without a navy alt. The Packers are also supposed to get new throwbacks also, yes? I read that somewhere, but I'm not sure if that was confirmed or just speculation. Hand Drawn NFL Redesign
